I have been a few times before but stopped in for breakfast this past Saturday with the husband and our daughter and they loved it! Never disappoints! I had the tri stuffed french toast. Blueberry, raspberry and apple butter I believe. First time I tried something sweet instead of savory for breakfast and it was so good. Husband had the south beach skillet and she had the Childs French toast. I think it might be his new favorite breakfast spot! The staff is great here also. Always friendly and welcoming. I had messaged/inquired through Yelp, requested a quote (twice) on their website which is up and down, called the phone number which sometimes worked but when it did you couldn't leave a message because the mailbox was full. This place is amazing! I first heard of it on IG from @losangelesbucketlist when they posted the chicken and waffles! It took me a while to finally check this place out and was devastated to find out they're closed on Mondays. But my husband and I finally made it and celebrated our little 2 month wedding anniversary. The food is phenomenal! I even leaned over to the couple next to us to ask how their meal was and what they recommend and they raved about the place, it was their first time too! I used Pine Haven for my wedding catering on April 16, 2016 at La Villa Bella. Pine haven Cafe was really easy to work with and also very helpful. Every time I went in for to make a payment or gave them a phone call they were always very friendly and helpful. The prices are also very affordable and the food tasted amazing. After the event I got so many complements on the roast beef, it was really delicious and had lots of flavor. I would really recommend this cater for any event. I attended a chamber mixer where Pine Haven Cafe catered the event. The artichoke dip was more than awesome and went perfectly with the handmade potato and tortilla chips. From the first phone call Sharon was the ultimate professional, our first meeting was fantastic. We explained our needs and she explained her business. We booked her on the spot. The tasting meeting was just as professional and the food was delicious and plentiful. She kept in contact during the whole planning process. Even when we stopped by for brunch her staff was very professional. Sharon made sure every aspect was covered from the color and type of the napkins to the shape and color of the table cloths to the wedding cake stand. This is the best home style food ever. It shows that they use quality ingredients. The pancakes are amazing. The bacon is thick and of better quality than you see anywhere. The food and service was great, but the restroom situation was a different issue . They only have 1 for women and 1 for men. My husband was waiting to use the restroom but the door was locked . He waited for a while then someone came out and immediately shut the door . It looked like they were been clean. My husband then went to talk to the owner about it and her answer was the restrooms are out of her hands . This is because the restrooms are in the hotel lobby . Cecilia was always in touch with me and patient as I made the final menu selection for finger foods over months. I had the opportunity to meet with the owner of Pine Haven Café and Catering today. Within a few minutes of speaking to Sharon, you know how passionate she is about her business. They have a cute café that is opened for breakfast and lunch daily, but the emphasis of her business is on catering. On the menu at the café is their signature homemade English muffin drenched of course with the two favorite sides; jam and butter. It is a house favorite, and everything on the menu is made from scratch. They offer a variety of catered dishes to suit your event menu too. We attended an Upland Chamber meeting a while back and Pine Haven catered the entire luncheon. The food was delicious and they served about 300 people that day. It went smooth, efficient and the food was "hot". The one thing that is unique about Pine Haven is that Sharon will customize the menu, for your venue, price, and appetite.
