I was met with super friendly and kind staff who struck up conversations about everything. So helpful for this guy who came in from out of town. The golf carts are equipped with GPS trackers that provide you with the range to the pin from your location. So easier that running around trying to find the sprinkler head or fairway markings. The course was so well maintained, especially considering this is the end of summer. Greens were smooth and lush. Fairways were well watered and green. I always appreciate eastern Washington golf courses that play links style, so I don't lose my ball too much thanks to my wicked slice. Oh and no water hazards! So appreciate that. Beautiful scenery in a peaceful setting. I forget which hole it was on the back nine, where you're looking down into Spokane. The other highlight was running into a group of wild turkeys. The animals, not my co workers. So amazing!

Two of us are walking and the other two are in a cart. Seems like we were playing at a good pace .... Makes a fun group gathering a tense experience for everyone! Management needs to take the comments people have made about the starter/marshall . They need to learn better manners and make their guests feel welcome ...

We had been on the course for about an hour and were playing at what I would consider a completely reasonable pace. For context, we ended up finishing our entire round in **under 4 hours**. We also teed off late because the group ahead of us was waiting for their fourth player to show up. The starter allowed their fourth to tee off late even though the rest of their group was already out there, which held everyone behind them up. On top of that, one of the players in our group was playing his **first round back after knee surgery**. There was also a threesome behind us that was catching up. We had absolutely no problem letting them play through, but apparently that wasn't an option. We were essentially told to **speed up or skip a hole**. Being only on the 5th hole, that seemed completely unreasonable, especially considering we ultimately finished our round in under 4 hours. Golf is meant to be enjoyed and played at a smooth pace. If I wanted to rush through a round in under 3 hours, I'd go play a simulator. What bothered me most wasn't being reminded about pace of play -- it was the way the marshal handled it. You can't have a conversation with this guy. Once he makes his decision, you're automatically wrong and he's right. He even had the nerve to tell me, **"Don't argue with me."** It's unfortunate that someone with a little bit of authority can't simply have a respectful conversation with another person. We were willing to let the group behind us play through, we finished our round in under 4 hours, and one of our players was playing his first round back after knee surgery. If someone wants to show up 2 minutes before their tee time and grip it and rip it, so be it . It's their money. Any time you have an interaction with one of them they act like you are inconveniencing them. The dude that has buzz cut, looks like someone killed his dog before he went to work, and sits there like a bump on a log is the worst. Get some fresh blood in there. Do your business a favor.
