There are small signs on Old West Highway with arrows to direct you to where the monument is located. I followed the arrows and found the monument. There is only a small area to turn in and there is no place to park. The field area next to the monument has a sign that says "No Trespassing." If another car pulls into the area, they could very well hit you and there's not enough room to turn around if there's more than 1 car there! There is a concrete walkway that runs in front of the monument. There is a bench across from the monument with some plants. The problem here is that the area is filled with transients/homeless people and you can't get near the monument! If I come here again, I'll have to park across the street and walk over to view the monument and hope there are less homeless!

Currently, they have Find the Superstition Mountain Cougar's Shadow Contest which encourages the community to go out to a local business to find the Find the Superstition Mountain Cougar's Shadow. Not only is it cool that in the month of March and September this shadow occurs, but love showcasing it with a contest like this. I know I personally made it an effort to come out to two businesses that I may not have if it weren't for this contest. If you are a year-round resident, be on the lookout for their shop local card as it provides a discount to select local businesses during the summer months. The card is typically $2 and so worth it!
