Went there for the birthday weekend, on a Saturday. We got there around 8:30 closer to 9 PM, and it was kind of empty, which was a surprise to me. I forgot, it was tequila fest and R&B festival in Atlanta, so the crowds wasn't going to come in until later, which was fine for me. I haven't been there in about six years, so the place is renovated and looks different and operates a little differently when it comes to seeing more girls. Got situated at the bar and got some good priced drinks and shots, and got my nice lap dances from a few girls, thick as grits, cute and fine ones. $10 dances, and VIP i want to say is $20.. I'll double check soon. The baddies start coming in around 11pm close to 12, and this spot is becoming more of an after hour place. For parking, $20 regular in the back of the building, $40 VIP in the front of the building, and $20 cover. I tried my homeboy's food, he ordered the ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli, the ribeye was a little chewy and too fatty to be ribeye, unless it's just a bad quality cut. I was thinking about trying the lamb chops but I don't know if that's how their steaks are. Now here's the bad stuff, when it is a slow night, and we are in inflated times, some of the women get a little beggy and greedy for money, including the bartenders! Just hold your ground and go with your set budget, or you can splurge if you have it , but the bartender begging for tips is unprofessional and not classy in my opinion.. Security will also not hesitate to kick you out if the girls feel they are disrespected, so just be nice to all of them but be firm in your spending habits, because they will always side with the women when shit goes down. APD and security with bulletproof vests and AR rifles and pistols is nothing to play with! All in all, it was solid, and I'm glad I came back.. Before I begin, I have quite a bit of memories from Pin Up's. I've been part of a few groups that went to enjoy some T&A. I brought my fiancée (then girlfriend) here for her first strip club on her birthday, came here for my birthday, and went out with some friends during Atlanta Greek Picnic. I've enjoyed myself here several times. Food: I feel like any time you go to a strip club, it's MANDATORY that you get wings & fries. That's the bare minimum. I've tasted wings & fries at every strip club that I've been to. Pin Up's hold their own weight with this one. Always enjoyable. I do wish they offered sanitizer, though. Maybe one big bottle of Germ-X at the bar wouldn't do too much harm. I never thought about this until I went to a club that offered this. I mean, of course, you can bring your own, but it would just be a little plus. It's something unsanitary about money and food, especially when those singles have been slid in between buttcheeks. Neither here nor there, the wings & fries are really good. Spacing: This might be the biggest let down. There is only one stage in the main room with two poles. Usually, dancers go up two at a time. They offer tables, but as more people fill in and the ballers come in, they'll ask you to buy a bottle or move to the free area, which is practically standing or bar table seating. So, if you're with a few people, no harm in going in for a bottle if you want decent seating. They also offer a small section in the back corner of the club. More of the other dancers are over there mingling, sitting on laps, trying to get some dances. I'd recommend this area if you're only really there to get lap dances. I believe it's an additional $10-$15 per person. Dancers: The dancers are straight. Like most strip clubs, the better and more attractive dancers come later in the night. But either way, there are some gems out of the bunch. Not many skinny girls. Most slim-thick to thick. All of them at least have a lil bubble. FULLY NUDE. If there are dancers on the stage, the more that is thrown on the stage, the more the eventually take off. Some girls have pole work, but most are just twerkers. My fiancée got her first lap dance here and honestly was turned out ever since. She loves strip clubs now. Another thing I love is the dances are $5 per song. You tend to have a dancer a little bit longer this way, which is what I enjoy. Don't go in there asking them "How much are dances?" Realistically, they're going to know that you don't know and might charge you $10. I've seen the finesse before. Can't blame them, though. Atmosphere: Typical strip club music in Atlanta. Something to make the dancers shake. The DJ's don't pressure you too hard to throw money. They know when it's slow and when it's not. This club is usually pretty smoked up. They let you smoke tobacco products and other things, if you partake. Regardless if you smoke or not, you're leaving smelling like smoke. Parking: $5 parking in the back, which is the unsecure lot. No big deal. Everybody is in the club. Not many jack boys around. I think the secure lot in the front is $10. Not bad pricing compared to other clubs that charge from $20-$40 for parking. Well after taking an almost 9 year hiatus from this strip club, I decided to revisit Pin Ups to see how things changed since my last visit here. And to my surprise this strip club have actually got worser within due time. I came to this strip club twice this past Friday and Saturday, I've read mostly negative reviews about this strip club on various websites and initially I thought people was nick picking but from my point of view they were being quite modest. My Friday Night Experience: First I came to Pin Ups on Friday, before 7pm, $5 @ the door, $10 to park in the front, and $5 to park in the back. I chose neither one, parked my car over a buddy place and I just walked to the strip club. Upon on entering the strip club, went through the metal detector, the chicks taking the money up front was kinda cool and laid back (that's what I really like in women). I hit up the bar and to see what kinda specials they had, the beers was $4 at the time and the mix drinks was $5. After having several notably bad experiences at other bars with drinks. I decided to settle for the beer. The bartender was kinda cool but not talkative, and I really didn't push for a conversation with her. Man one thing I wanted to mention was that the area I was in which had a very small stage, I noticed the women who was in that area looked kinda disgusting and I'm talking about facial wise and body. So I decided to peep my head through where all the action was and I noticed that most of the women was extremely ugly. And that literally blew my mind! And not only that some of these very ugly chicks I did see did not have attractive looking bodies at all! So I decided to stay in the area that had less strippers, I was kinda glad that most of the women wasn't approaching me. Eventually I was approached by two strippers that night, and I letted my tongue slip with one of them and that's something you should never do. My Saturday Night Experience: I decided not to be too judgmental and give Pin Ups a second try again, man and too my surprise, most of the ugly girls was gone. I decided to sit back and observe how these strippers was doing business that night and decide who I would let have my lil money that evening. Eventually, I choose to get some dances from 3 Amazons, a short small size chick with a little thickness too and a short thick chick, that really didn't have a big butt to her (which wasn't a big deal to me). I decided to let hang around way past my departure time only too see how Pin Ups midnight stunners would look like; and I'll save that up for summary of this strip club. Conclusion: So why did I give this strip club two stars? Well heres the thing I heard some of the bartenders was rude but they are rude beyond disbelief! This one bartender cussed me out real bad as if she was trying to punk me for not putting any money inside of a birthday bag for a stripper. The bartender didn't even give me time enough, to pull out my wallet so I could place the money in the end, I decided I wasn't going to do the stuff at all. Okay I had issues with the other bartenders, man they are just down right rude and nasty at first I thought they was rude to men only but some strippers told me they hate them too. I come here for poker mostly. As a strip club, it's above average. A lot of thickness and spinners for a $5 dollar club. I'd advise coming before 8 p.m. as the dancers aren't in "get money" mode yet. They are a lot more chill and down to earth early. After 8, it's hit or miss. It's a hit if you cam establish a good rapport with a couple dancers. Should you be able to do so, stick w/ them your entire time and do go for variety as you could be let down. Otherwise, you'll notice a lot of cute yet lazy dancers. I mean, many won't walk 10 yards over to you to offer you a dance. Also, although it's a $5 dance per song strip club, don't expect your dance to make it through the 2nd verse. The DJ changes songs so quickly, you're more likely to get better dance value at a $10 strip club. I come here on Wednesdays to play poker and it's my favorite poker game in Atlanta. The game play is a bit aggressive and the players can be rough around the edges but it's all love and fun. My first visit to Pin Ups was back in 2007. The dancers,drinks, and overall environment was always a plus. I've continuously visited over the years but my last few visits were not so good. The shots of Patroń seem more watered down. The dancers are about the same but it seems to be some dancers that are more into lying to make a dollar. Dances at the club are $5 per song but I've witness some dancers tell customers that dances are $10 to $20 per song. Also I've witnessed dancers finesse customers on the total songs they actually danced. Pin Ups was once one of the top Strip Clubs in Atlanta.
