The food here is so good. I've been plenty of times over the years - everyone knows the restaurant is perfection. This is a "gentleman's club" not your typical ATL strip club, so if you want that - this is not the place. We always laugh at the way they "dance" here compared to the ATL strip club culture... but it's intentional. This time, I was on a first date. We had so much fun! Great energy! The drinks are strong, everyone is friendly. On regular days entry is $20 and I suggest bringing cash before you get there because the ATM fee inside is $10 per transaction. My first time going here and maybe it wasnt the best night for them to be around but there were no dancers on the thick side over 180 pou ds with hourglass figures. So if that's your thing I will tell you it was not there that night. The place has good spacing, seating and ambiance but they either need to strictly enforce their dancers to be honest and upfront and not trick customers into tight spots or terminate those that do. I've been to other clubs before where they dont have overly aggressive and sneaky employees that dont fully disclose pricing and lounge entrance fees until it's too late. Most dancers I've encountered are not so. Also I was told I was being shown around by this dancer with no intention of using the lounge with her. Went here for dinner on a Sat night. First time trying food at a strip club establishment. My friend convinced me that this was the best fried chicken she had ever had; I must say this is true. The chicken breast is breaded with extra special seasoning. The creamy mashed potatoes were covered in a gravy salsa. It has a kick to it - not your ordinary brown gravy. Lastly it was topped off with green beans smothered in garlic butter. 5 star food. Totally worth my $32. You may want to go for a dessert. I decided to pass on it because I was so full. If I had room, I'd go for any of the 36 options they had. By far this was the longest dessert menu I've ever seen. In actuality, there were about 11. Cover is $12 at the door. First time visitors can use the Yelp check in voucher which gives you free entry. You'll have to step aside if you aren't checked in by the time you get to the register. Staff is overall friendly. The girls and music are a-ok. They play mostly top 40 so you'll prob see someone shaking it to Katy Perry, Destiny's Child and Bruno Mars. There are a variety of women as well. I came here for the food. No, really. Okay okay, I've been here at least 3 or 4 other times with friends. To be clear, I'm never the "let's go to a strip club!" instigator. I don't like strip clubs. I put Alluvia on my "Be Afraid" UYE series because the combination of excellent food (dishes beyond wings & burgers) and naked women truly baffles me. It was a $12 cover charge (after 7pm) - so try to get on a guest list or grab a cheapo sports ticket which will waive the cover. I was disappointed to find out our group of 6 couldn't sit together in the restaurant area, because the tables don't move (I'm sure this is for the purpose of table dances, or possibly fire code? both?). So we opted to dine in the main area. We originally sat in one waitress' section but ended up moving so that the entire group could get a good...ahem...view of everything happening around us. Our new server was not nice. In our first few interactions I felt she had some definite attitude, almost rolling eyes at us when we weren't ready to order food. I asked a manager if we could have our old server back, but he refused to help (?). I was mostly ticked that in addition to rude service that she'd be getting our tips on a hefty meal too. Oh well. We wanted to stay in our spot so we stuck it out with our not nice server. Throughout the rest of the meal her attitude improved to what I would consider cordial. Better than nothing, I guess. When she took our orders she didn't write anything down, and I was impressed that she did in fact get all the orders right. I had a 10 oz filet, ordered medium rare, but it arrived medium. Really- it was hard to tell with the lighting, but everyone confirmed it was medium. It was still pretty tender and juicy. I was surprised they served it though, since they had clearly cut into the steak to check the cook temp. I didn't complain. My $42 steak didn't come with any sides. I don't understand that. But I did order a side of $7 mashed potatoes that were the definition of average. In retrospect, I wish I would have ordered the cheesy grits. My evaluation on the meal is that, it's damn good for food served at a strip club. The chicken fingers my fiancee got were ridiculous - only 3 chicken fingers but they were humongous (see photo!). We also had someone order Duck L'Orange!! Amazing they even serve that. Overall, I think dinner here would be a fun adventure for out of towners. As for the dancers, it was pretty boring. Lots of step-touch-step-touch. Basically a ton of women standing on a stage, moving around to music, but I wouldn't call it dancing. Some were doing this ultra slow motion move. But they all looked dead in the eyes - really, really bored. I felt bad for the girls that were actually trying, because the small crowd that was there put those few girls to work with lap dance after lap dance after table dance. Oy. The DJ was awful. Really bad. Can we at least stick with one genre of music? So I personally won't be back to Cheetah/Alluvia anytime soon for dinner, but I'm glad I faced my fear and tried it. The dinner itself was pretty successful, but for poor service from both server and manager, coupled with not the most interesting entertainment... it was a 3 star kind of night. (BUT ! Yes it's true I love this place but I won't come as often anymore since they are significantly raised the price. Regular seating is $25 per person, vip is $500, $40 to get in. During weekdays on day time may be better price wise. I don't know if they still charge for regular seating during the week.
