I was excited walking into this place excited to look at decor for our wedding. We were greeted by…read moresomeone at their desk, then after asking told "linens are over there, and hurricane glasses are over there." That's all. We didn't get asked what we kind of event, who we were, and we definitely didn't get any help with pricing. There were at least 3 gals there that could have done a lot more. It just seemed like no one wanted to make a sale or be helpful. It was over all just disappointing, so we left.

The balls are super soft and she loves to jump and throw the balls with friends. She has recently been exploring the jungle gym area as well which allows her to climb and swing. The staff are always pleasant and very helpful. Another thing I like is that the older kids are pretty respectful of my child and watch where they are going. We have had some near misses when kids were a bit boisterous but they have always stopped to say sorry which means a lot to me.

And for the money, it would be hard to find a better value in the area. But the real hidden gem at this country club are the people. The members are friendly, welcoming, kind, generous, And not snobby. They are the kind of people that you want to spend your free time with. If I lived closer, this would definitely be the place that I would want to spend my free time. And if you live close to this country club and have the opportunity in the means to join, I highly suggest That You check it out and get to know some of these great people. I can't say enough great things about the golf shop and the professional staff at the golf facility. I am not even a member here in this place always feels like a home away from home.

They were pleasant enough while the kids worked on their projects, and very engaging with the kids. 2 of the staff members were great with the kids. When it came time to pay ... Debit cards are not accepted -- there are no signs indicating this. Only annoyance when you try to pay with a card. I asked my kids to leave their projects there so we could go get cash. The owner didn't seem to think that was enough. Since they were done she wanted assurance I would return so she didn't lose money. She wanted me to leave my kids there! When I said no, she was not pleased. I don't leave my kids with many people, especially NOT strangers! I offered to let her see my license so she could have my address. I had every intention of returning, my kids wanted their projects. I ended up leaving a debit card there since I have 2 and went to get cash with the other. Admittedly when I returned I didn't say but 2 words to her. I was upset that my integrity had been questioned and she wanted to keep my kids. What mom would go out of her way to give her children an experience and then not return to pick up their work? This is one place we will not return to and will tell anyone we know to avoid.

We did not have a good experience renting either the Rose Garden or the Pagoda House at the Pt…read more Defiance Park for our wedding July 1. Though we had rented the Garden for 2 hours for 500$ @ hr, campers set up blankets and picnic gear right next to our white chairs. No one from the parks department was there to help explain that we had rented the area. Obviously it is a public park, but having someone from the parks department there or a posted sign as a private party would have helped. Instead, at 3 different times members of our wedding party asked politely if the family would leave --that it was rented space--after more coaxing, the people left but it was awkward and frustrating and embarrassing as guests were beginning to sit. The Pagoda House for the reception was not clean, nor did their promised sound system connection work, and the password did not work. We were also told that we would need to set up the chairs, which is bad for a rental of 350$ @ hr, but that we would not have to tear down. However, a parks department employee then came by to tell us we did have to tear down, something we were not prepared for but did. The Parks Department wants to use these areas for weddings but are not prepared or willing to invest the infrastructure money to make them work well. Plus, poor communication seemed to rule the day as more than once I was asked to refill out certain sections of the paperwork for things like how many Rose Garden chairs and why did I not fill out the bar tending license information when we were having no alcohol. Okay, enough here--good luck on your wedding.

The pros about meadow park, and the reason I gave it four stars, are the amenities and the price…read more They have a great driving range and the largest amount of practice putting greens of any course I've been to. The price to play is the cheapest that I've seen anywhere in the state of Washington. So between those two things meadow park is a great place to come and practice your game. The cons of meadow park is that, since it is a publicly operated course and the price is so low it gets very crowded. You will absolutely never be anywhere in meadow park and not be able to see another group, likely several. Since it has such high traffic the course is a little rough through so much hard use. All that being said, this is a great place to play if you want to come practice. I intend to return often to hit the par 3, the driving range, or work through 18 holes. I just won't choose meadow park if I'm trying to have a fun/ relaxing golf outing with friends.

But my partner and I signed up for nighttime Glo Golf and it did not disappoint. I was worried we were late for our tee time so I was relieved to hear that this was a leisurely event. We checked in and were provided glow-in-the dark golf balls and glow necklaces/bracelets, a map, and a quick rundown. There are hand warmers and other supplies for sale in the pro shop. You can bring your own golf clubs or they have some available to rent. It is ideal if you notify them ahead of time if you need to rent. We were encouraged to head to the bar to redeem our free drinks before starting, since the bar would be closed by the time, we finished our 9 holes. Foleys on the Green is casual and vibes are divey. We got our drinks, then went out to the tent to sign our waivers and get started. The staff were all kind, down to earth, and friendly. Everyone we met explained everything clearly and helped direct us to where we needed to go. Glo golf is fun! No real experience is needed. The golf ball is extremely easy to see in the dark. The only issue we encountered was that the lights from the driving range were sometimes pretty blinding. Keep in mind there are other guests ahead of you on the course and others behind you. We were following this group of people who were slower, and we had a skilled pair after us, so I felt that we were caught waiting, and the group after us were waiting doubly for them and then for us. As mentioned, they have a driving range. They also have a putting practice area. Would love to come again.
