Our stylist was Sophia and she was finishing up with a client. A few minutes later, we were greeted by the stylist and lead upstairs. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She made my daughter's first haircut memorable and she loves the finished product. The process was amazing but it was a bit pricey. Sophia worked really well with natural hair so I plan on going back soon for a trim.

I was told that the owner would call me back to discuss the issue, but she never called me back. Instead she chose to respond to my review, which did not address the issue of the unauthorized charges. This matter leads me to believe that Eden Salon cannot be trusted. If you choose to obtain Eden Salon's services request confirmation on the price. If they suggest additional services during your appointment get clarification on pricing beforehand. In my opinion, the lower price-point on their website is a tactic, used to bate customers. Such as the case with my daughter....she was told halfway through the appointment that she needed additional services for the coloring process; however, they did not mention additional costs. This is defined as a bait-and-switch tactic and is against the law in Washington DC. -Good luck out there, stay safe and aware!

Well, for the last two times I tried to get an appointment with my old Stylist, she never had a time that was convenient for me, so I gave KRUSH SALON a try. I am glad I did! My new Stylist is Dionne. She is professional and freindly. I had a full weave sewn in about the last week and half of August. I usually keep my weaves in for about 3 weeks or so. Never pass four weeks. My present weave is being taken out today, a little over Six Weeks. It stayed in placed and still looked healthy. She said I could keep it in longer if i wanted to. I have never had so many positive comments about my weave. I work with twelve women and they were asking me if this was my real hair? They just saw my hair on Friday and now on the following Monday they were asking if this is my hair They also commented your husband is not going to let you out of his sight. They were correct for one of my birthday presents, he sent me on a weekend vacation to one of my favorite places. He could go. I said no problem. I thought I was going by myself, he had paid for his sister and cousin to go to. I said it's not a problem I can go by myself. He said, no you can't. Since your new hair style you have been a little frisky. I do feel a more confident with my new weave. I have caught strangers just staring at my head, with that puzzling look, I wonder if that's her hair? Ladies we have all done this to others. My BEST compliment came from my husband of 30 years, who has never liked any of my Braids, Wigs or Weaves. He said and I quote, " I don't know why you have to wear that fake (_ _ _ _) mess , you have nice hair. Why don't you wear your own hair? Ladies, you know , no man is going to tell us how to wear our hair. When he saw how Dionne had sewn in my weave and styled it perfectly, he started smiling from ear to ear and has not stopped . He said, " that's my Beautiful Wife. With a big smile. Keep this Stylist, your hair looks like you (real )". My hair, weave, is looking great. My oldest sister from NC said. Girl she did wonderful job on your head. The next I come for a visit, you must make me an appointment. Your husband told me he really likes your hair. She said it makes me look younger and makes my face seem smaller. I loved my sister. Believe me, if my hair was "jacked up", as we say, she would be the first to tell me. She said you don't have any bumps in your head. You need to keep going to her, especially after you give your real hair a breather and stop wearing your weaves for a while. I would like to see what she does with your natural hair. Me too, but not today! I am not sure how long she has been at her present location, her salon is very nice. You can tell she likes to keep everything neat and clean! I know she has a several clients because they usually call to make an appointment while am there. Which is something I need to do before I leave today. She will do her best to work around your schedule. Whether it's late or early. This is my third time coming in for an appointment. Really it's my fourth. I was late for the last one and couldn't call because I was on the road and had locked myself out of my phone. She was understanding and worked me. I was told about it as I was paying at the end :( but I was promised that I would get one next time I come even if it's not on Monday:). I went to the salon to see Emily based on all the previous reviews but when I got there she wasn't at work yet :( So I let another stylist do my hair Juanna she did good. This is a high heat process so please be warned, I have 4c natural hair and got it blown out straight. No heat damage thank god! this is not a style I will get regularly. I mainly did the blow out for the purpose of getting my ends clipped. I don't typical do heat on my natural hair one thing I was nervous about is that I didn't notice any heat protectant being used. Next time I will come with my own products to be on the safe side. ( I might be doing the most but so what)! She clipped my ends to my satisfaction ( they were clipped) not chopped. This is a real Dominican salon with majority Spanish speakers so there is somewhat of a language barrier, they have English speaking front desk staff but I'm not sure if they speak Spanish. The staff here was good overall I feel that they do good work and have good service. I think the shop is cute and I was quoted a price of $70 for the blow out, clip and flat iron. At the time of check out I paid $80. This was confusing but nothing to extreme for me. so come with additional funds or confirm the pricing up front. The wait time was not long at all, I will be a returning customer.
