They assigned shower room #2 where water was very hot with no option to make it normal and no water pressure at all. Called front desk. They sent a guy who put me into another shower with excellent pressure but no hot water. Ended up with cold shower. Beer refrigerator was almost empty. No one bothered to stack it. In order to get the beer you want you need to walk-in into the "Beer Cave". This place needs better managers. read more

We stopped by here for a bathroom break to our next destination. This place was very clean inside. There were some shopping items, and all of the typical things you can get at a convenience store such as snacks, food, coffee, and drinks. They also have an Arby's attached. If you are in the mood for fast food. I noticed that they have showers and a laundry room for truckers. They also had an arcade room. The bathroom was really clean. There were four stalls. They were stocked with toilet paper. They had two sinks and an extra sink in the handicap bathroom. They also have touchless paper towel dispensers. I would say this is one of the better restrooms I have seen on this road trip. read more

Well it started off very bad at the EV chargers they have . The charger overheated the battery and I had to call on star and AAA we were on our way to the Mayo clinic in Jacksonville which meant they would take my car and I would have to get a Uber to Gainesville then rent a car to Jacksonville to be at the hospital in the morning.. all said in Done if it wasn't for the help from Joe and the girls at register I would have not stopped crying. 225 miles on this tank of gas and as I'm getting off I-75 and switching to US-301, even though there's still a half tank left, it's time to top it off. So I recently gave a review about this truck stop/travel plaza. I am a truck driver. The manager on duty on 7/21/24 (Sunday), explained to me why at first she wouldn't allow me to drop my trailer during my weekend stay here, to drive my truck to the grocery store 6 miles away. With that being said, it's understandable why some places don't allow it. Mainly because too many truck drivers abandon their trailer and never return. Therefore, making it the problem of the business to have to get it towed away, paperwork etc. Fortunately, I am not one of those truck drivers. Its reasons like these, why places that are not truck stops, don't allow truck drivers to park on their property. Especially when too many truck drivers are so inconsiderate and lazy and think it is okay to throw trash anywhere that is not a dumpster/trash can. This is one of the better travel plaza's in this area. They pretty much have everything a traveler or trucker could need. Souvenirs, electronics, auto products, food showers, and washers && dryers. They keep the store pretty clean and the gas is reasonable. Their soda fountain is one of the best. A great variety of name brands and you can add your own flavor if you'd like. They're inexpensive and their cups are all of Styrofoam. There's a walk through that goes right into Arby's but be smart when ordering. Their beverages are costly and you'd be wise to grab one of the beverages from the travel plaza's soda fountain instead. For those that are not aware this travel plaza is also where you can catch the Greyhound bus in Ocala. Check their schedule ahead of time. read more

Been here a few times and it's not fabulous. Today has probably been my worst visit so far. Arby's was messy. Dr. Pepper was out as well as ice from the ice machine. They forgot my marinara sauce with my mozzarella sticks. Their bathrooms are notorious for the stall doors slamming since they refuse to put stops on them to mute the slam. Also, a rude gentlemen in a blue tie dye t shirt was harassing people for signatures on a petition against illegals in Florida being able to vote. So I called twice and the phone just rang, and rang, and rang. Then eventually it hung up on me because apparently staff are too incompetent to answer the phone. I know when I worked at pilot I answered the phone. It's called multitasking. Get it together pilot. I can't wait for Wawa to open here. We'll be going there instead. read more

As a Greyhound location, it is below a one star. Don't expect any assistance or any directions. The bus may or may not run. No one will volunteer any information. Get there early because you can't be sure and might have to make arrangements. Don't bother going inside cuz unless you want coffee or use the scary bathrooms, there's no help. read more

As my friend and I got out of our car, a lady told us they are not enforcing masks. We walked in and the employee, Cassie, started yelling at us to wear a mask. We put one on but noticed other people not wearing one. We were leaving but my friend went back inside to ask her to tell everyone to put a mask on and not to yell. Cassie of course got loud with my friend so my friend just left. As we were about to just drive away, I heard screaming in the parking lot. I rolled my windows down and realized that Cassie was screaming at customers pumping gas through the intercom system that masks are required. Look, I will put a mask on politely if told and if it is enforced TO EVERYONE. But I will not allow someone to scream at me and to yell at other customers just pumping gas. WORST customer service experience I've ever had. I have contacted corporate and I hope customers in the future will be treated with respect. read more
