Bathroom stop at this Pilot which was clean and tidy in the restroom. The roller grills were definitely stocked and they had plenty of snacks and drinks. Even though I wasn't filling up the van here, I took advantage of the squeegee and cleaned off the windshield. Overall, a good experience and I'd be fine to stop here again. This place is a total JOKE. For YEARS I have stopped here driving back and forth about 2 hours from my home for medical treatment. I have always stopped here for gas because it's right off the interstate. ..Because I know inside is slower than Christmas I have always paid at the pump. So today AS ALWAYS I stopped to get gas. Pay at the pump was acting stupid, tried two different pumps. When it wouldn't work I checked my bank. This place put 2 -105$ . Holds on my card. This drained my bank account so now I could'r get gas at all leaving me stranded. I went in to try to talk to the clerk. There was a line backed up this girl buying snacks was holding up the line because Reese cups "was on sale". Then when the clerk rang her up it was 10.77 so she has to go back to the car to get 0.77$.. Stuff like this is why I avoid going in . So finally the one clerk opens another lane . I explain they have put 2 -105 $. Holds on my account. She looks at me annoyed and says well there's nothing I can do . You should have come in .I said well I been coming here for years and this has never happened . I can show you where I have been here forever ..she said well I'm surprised . so then she uses her mic and asks to speak to a manger . Another clerk comes up here , she explains the problem . . I think this is a manager at this point the woman picks up her drink and says well we don't have anything to do but I can let you speak to a manger .. she just called for a manager why would you bother when she explained on the radio what was needed , why as a clerk knowing you couldn't do anything why would you come back up here?? So I go back out and call my bank. Thank God my bank was nice enough to put the money back over. So I go back in this other clerk is standing up here doing nothing with one lane closed standing there . People backed up . I tell them to put 30 on pump 9. She says well I'm just here to tell you the pilot discount we been having problems with it all day.( I suspect this is what was wrong at the pump to start with ) Why advertise with a blaring advertisement at the pump about discounts if you can't get it to work right ?? I tell the clerk whatever I don't care just put 30 ) on pump 9 . At this point I just want to be done ..And start to ask if it don't take the whole amount if I need to come back in. The clerk rudely turns to someone else so I can't ask crap. It's obvious they could care less about those they serve. I go back out to the pump attempt to pump gas . Pump won't work . Hang up the pump go back in wait in line again. At this point the other clerk who's still standing there says I thought you were on 8 she set it for 8 . I said no I told her twice pump 9 . She resets the pump . Thank God it finally worked So then I go back in again to see if I needed to get money back because it held less . The lady rude again says oh well it automatically goes back .. well good deal if you had let me ask this without just passing me over you wouldn't have dealt with me again . I have just finished a medical treatment and don't have the time or energy to deal with rude staff or this craziness. Had my bank not fixed this I would have been stuck. There's no car going to hold 210$ gas which was the 2 charges .. I will NEVER. Stop here again . Even if you can't change things you don't have to be rude to people It's stupid for a company to freeze an amount like this in the first place . But the rude people are over the top . Then a clerk just standing around while people are standing in line . This place is just over the top. Please do not leave me some stupid cookie cutter comment from the company You should be able to be treated with respect t for any issue in the store and any place that can't do that is not worth my money. If I could have I would have left a lower rating. And I don't see how reading through these reviews how the rating is so high .If I had been coming in dealing with these people or would have seen these reviews I wouldn't have been coming here to begin with. This truck stop is right off the Mt Sterling exit and was very much needed. There was not a gas station open 24/7 on that end of town before it came. They also have all the amenities of a truck stop for all of the truck drivers passing through. This particular Pilot has a McDonalds and a Subway in it. YEAH! The second McDonalds for Mt Sterling. Things are looking up. This place does stay busy as well. Staff are usually really friendly and helpful. read more

Ever time I go to pilot mcdonalds the shake machine is not working. I think they need a new one.
