When I asked why the salesman lied to me he said "he didn't lie, he just misrepresented the truck" With in 2 hours of driving off the lot. The vehicle malfunctioned causing me to lose control almost getting into an accident. I called from out of state to inquire about a vehicle that I found online. I called and spoke to Alan Meeks as well as the service manager A.K.A. Mike's son. They both assured me that the vehicle was completely fine and in working order with no damage. This is where the lies began. Come to find out, the service manager used the vehicle as a demo A.K.A. his personal vehicle. The vehicle had 3,000+ miles on it than what was advertised. In exchange for the discrepancy, Mike offered to buy my plane ticket out there. He said to save the receipt and that he would reimburse me when I got there. I get to the dealership and it's less than what I expected. I was the only customer there and everyone inside was smoking. I took the vehicle for a drive around the block and everything seemed to be fine. We pulled up to the dealership and Alan quickly pulls me inside to discuss the paperwork. I walk back outside to get a closer look at the truck and I was disappointed in what I saw. The inside was dirty as it looked like they did a quick wipe down. Dog hair on the carpet and seats, fluids spilled on the carpet with no effort to clean it up, missing interior components, missing spare tire, dings and scratches on the tailgate, the tailgate would not open and close. At this point, I really wanted to walk away but had to overlook this stuff due to personal reasons and the time and money I committed to getting out there. I confront Mike and he said "well we didn't lie about the truck we just misrepresented it". We renegotiate the price a bit and he took 600 off for the inconvenience and an additional 400 for the ticket that was supposed to reimbursed to me not put toward the truck. Then they give me a auto check report with the last two pages missing that stated the truck was in an accident. They tried to hide this from me. They said no this was an error, but later I called autocheck and they said yes, it was in an accident. I drive off the lot and within two hours, driving down the mountain, the parking brake engages causing the alarm to go off, I immediately reach down for the release and its not working. At the same time I was going around a bend in the road and accidentally swerved and lost control, trying to fix the brake. I called Mike and told him that no one inspected this vehicle and that I do not feel safe driving the truck. He said take it a service station. He would not take it back. I took the truck to my local dealer and told them what happened. A salesman looked over my paperwork and discovered that he OVERCHARGED me the sales tax and tried to pocket the difference and also said he OVERCHARGED me for the temp tags. I later found a concave dent on the passenger door which I remember when I was looking the truck over, Mike quickly came outside and said come on in Roy and lets talk about the truck. It was hard to see as it was overcast but when the sun is out, it shows really badly. The service department said it would cost $1700.00 to fix the brake issue and another $2000.00 to fix the dent on the door. And I forgot to mentioned the odometer was malfunctioning causing me to get a ticket. The police officer look at my speedometer and said "how are you going 20 mph when you are parked talking to me?" So he wrote me for defective speedometer. Now, I stuck with a truck I don't feel safe in and a $4,000 bill to fix it. DO NOT BUY FROM MIKE WILSON!!!!
