Excellent place for a pit stop. Air conditioning was cranking on this hot day and felt so comfortable. So many available beverages including iced coffee, plenty of fresh hot food. Multiple checkouts to get you on your way. Cheerful and polite employees. Amazingly clean bathrooms. Many aisles of souvenirs, electronics, etc. They have showers for the truckers and about a half dozen truck fueling spots. I am bookmarking this one for the next road trip. read more

They have friendly staff so no problem there, however the people that did the remodel did not really think it through why would you take away the laundry facility here when you have showers. Someone wants to take showers should they have clean clothes not too bright I won't be back. read more

Had a full service truck stop, Subway and a Pizza Hut. Restroom was nice and clean. The parking spaces for the trucks fill up pretty fast especially in the late evening hours but overall a pretty decent truck stop with no major complaints. read more

Everyone needs gas! This is the standard not as nice as some of the others I have been to but they do have a Subway located inside. You will also be able to purchase 5lb packages of Jerkey, a thigh master, and your favorite camo t-shirt. I would recommend to stay aware from the pizza slices sold at the counter. I think they were made in 1977 ;-). Seriously - this place is functional and gets the job done if you need a snack and some gas. read more

First time at this stop. There was 1 positive, they have a Moe's here instead of the typical crap food at these stops. Nice to have something different. The negatives are there was a red head lady maybe in her 40's working the register. Clearly she's on drugs or did a lot in her past years and she is permanently messed up. She couldn't operate the weigh station printer. I felt bad for the driver trying to weigh the truck. I tried to get a receipt for my gas and she said she's not sure how to do that. She finally gave me a receipt for a truck that wasn't mine. There was a long line due to people waiting for her to figure out the weigh printer. She told people they can go to the Cinnabon and they would ring us up. I get there and the lady there was clearly not happy that we went there to pay for our stuff. After a long day of driving I decided to do my layover here. I went inside and asked the young lady who worked at the Subway what time they closed. She responded 10pm. So I decide to take a shower first and get fresh before I order and eat. Low and behold when I return at 9:30pm they closed down. She sees me standing there with a confused look and says "oh we closed early because we have to clean". That right there is bad business and next time I'm definitely heading to the TA travel center down the street. Disgusting! read more

Absolutely disgusting Filth everywhere while what appears to have been a manager sitting and discussing his co workers panties and her saying she only had two pairs or something to that effect Showers also gross. Whatever they use to clean or most likely not to clean is leaving the shower floor slick like ice. Wanted to get subway, two workers were there and one was at the register talking to a customer. The other worker walked out from the back and both ignored me. I figured they were busy and waited a few minutes until asking if they were closed or something. They told me they were and that it was 'ok' that I had been standing there waiting. Next time, address a customer that's standing right in front of you instead of just ignoring them. That's not good customer service at all. read more

This is one of the smaller, cramped Pilots that was probably built when Pilot expanded out of the Knoxville area, originally just meant to be a stop for car travelers. You literally can't have more than two people at a time at the coffee bar/roller grill/fountain soda island area. There are two bathroom stalls for women and four for the men, according to my husband (don't worry, I didn't go in there to check it out just for this review). The aisles are very cramped and this place has half the selection of drinks that most Pilot truck stops have, not to mention to alcohol sold that I saw. There is a Pizza Hut Express here, but that's on you if you want to risk paying their gouged prices here. There are 90 truck parking spots here, but beware of the back row; the parking lot does not loop around. With how small this place is, I'm scared to see how tiny the shower rooms are. read more

Despite being next up for a shower (none available when I got my ticket), I waited nearly an hour for the next available shower. As it turns out, the guy who cleans and maintains the shower operations was busy on a ladder in the TV room, up in the ceiling above the TV with the DirecTV remote changing the channel. This involved removing acoustic ceiling tiles, etc. I've never been to a Pilot/Flying J that didn't trust drivers enough to leave the remote IN the lounge so we don't need a maintenance man with tools and a ladder just to change channels. Then after he finally cleaned a few shower rooms, the automatic call-out system was down, so after another delay he finally let those of us waiting into each room with his passcode. This location needs to get it together. read more
