We ended up doing all the trees, one big one, 4 smaller ones. They were told not to drive their rig and chipper in the backyard, somehow they decided that it would be OK and left big ruts in the backyard. I called them on it and they said they would send someone to fix them up, which they did, and just put a few wheelbarrels of dirt in the deepest ruts. After mowing and bouncing around over the ruts, I called them again and they said he would be out personally to take care of it on 27th of August, never heard another word. For sure I will think of them every time I have to deal with running over those ruts as I mow. Very unfortunate.

I contacted 4-5 companies over a week for quotes, knowing availability, professionalism, service, and cost would vary across companies. I was able to schedule the initial quote with R F Trees with ease via text and they were very flexible with my schedule, responsive, and very communicative in coordinating - From coordinating the time, messaging me when Tony was on his way, and when he arrived (2minutes early, at that!). The quote took 15min, and Tony provided a written quote as well as current dates his crew could be available. As a female homeowner, I dread getting estimates for projects the same way I do when I take my car into the dealer for service...However, Tony was professional, provided a fair, reasonable, and comprehensive quote, and was genuine throughout. I told Tony I was getting quotes and would revert within a couple days. Tony was the most professional of the companies I considered, from a really cool and professional business card, to the comprehensive written quote, to his open and consistent communication throughout the process. Other companies showed up unscheduled ringing my doorbell for quotes (which is not ideal, as I work from home and have conference calls/meetings most of the day), only provided verbal quotes, or weren't as communicative.
