I am a Pilates enthusiast in the US, and always tell myself I'll find a studio to visit when I'm
read moretraveling, but never have in the past. That changed on my current trip to Dublin. I needed space from my husband -- and from all the food -- so I paid a visit to Live & Breathe Pilates. SO glad that I did. Louise is amazing. My group Pilates class turned into 1:1 because no one else had signed up. For just about 23 EUR, I was able to do a drop-in class and it was really incredible. I learned so much about my alignment and was able to try a few new moves on the reformer that I hadn't done previously. Louise is an expert and is incredibly encouraging. I booked one more class during my holiday because I just had such a great first go. Highly recommend!

I try to do a lot of running, try being the operative word. I find running helps with my posture as

I started Pilate's to compliment my running and also to try something non impact and again something to work more in depth with my posture - I have awful posture, I am always slouching. Firstly the cost of classes here are the cheapest that I found in the city. The location is beautiful, the studio is so zenned out. The minute I step in there I just relax. Steph is a wonderful teacher, so patient, enthusiastic and highly qualified. Although don't repeat my mistake and wear a low cut top that will expose your girls to the class, I think I have scarred them for life. I just really love the concentration that goes into it as it is another great form of relaxation for me. I also love the mindfulness that I am beginning to get of my body.

A+++ I have been
read morepracticing yoga for several years, and rarely come across a studio that I love. This studio: I loved. My first few days were rough - I hadn't been to a yoga class in several months due to a recent move, and even the Yoga 1 classes are pretty tough. There are very few classes on the schedule that are tailored for yoga newbies. I would suggest trying a "Yoga for Everyone" class - and even then, it really depends on the instructor. Anyhow, after the initial shock to my system, I grew comfortable with the studio and now I'm very upset to have to leave. But alas, the one negative that I can find with the studio is that after the "New Member Month" at 59E, you are required to sign into a six month contract - which, for me, just isn't possible as I will be leaving in a few months. Without committing to a contact, classes are very expensive - 15E each, something I cannot afford. The positives: the front desk staff knew me by name which was very comforting, considering I was new to the area and no one else in Dublin knew me by name!! - there are numerous class options on the schedule - basic yoga through very advanced, flow and Hatha, Ashtanga, etc. They also have Pilates and TRX classes, both of which I frequented and enjoyed. The negatives: there are not many. Yes, the studio can get crowded. But if you make the effort to get in a bit early, you can find an ideal spot (I always made sure to be close to the heaters first thing in the morning). The classes are pricey if you cannot commit to a contract. It is difficult to find a class that is tailored for beginners - if you are brand new, I would suggest asking the desk which class would be best for you to ensure you have a great experience. Overall, I absolutely loved this studio. If you are in south Dublin and want a great yoga experience, go to Yoga Dublin!

beautiful studios, fantastic teachers and classes for a really good price! im a student and they
read moreoffer a great student discount so i would recommend this place to anyone! they have studios in Ranelagh and Rathfarnham! They are, however, really popular and classes book out fast so you have to book classes them in advance! full classes can be REALLY full but theres still a personal touch so it doesnt feel that full! Defo worth a try!
