I have been in studios in Boston, Michigan, Carmel, Hollywood and the San Francisco Bay Area. I seek out new studios where ever my travels take me as I like to see what instructors can offer and I use Pilates as my main form of exercise. I have found the best instructors to invariably have a dance background and a certain sensitivity that allows them to explain what can be an amorphous concept in the body. Anna is, without a doubt, a truly excellent instructor. She has the intuitive understanding of how the body works, the intense focus on how your body is responding to instruction and she has that certain something that makes the time fly by and the session fun and interesting. Her approach is geared to where you are in your body and in your practice and I have grown so much since I have studied with her. She works in a private space, not in a big studio. This helps with attention to your needs and at the same time gives you space to explore without feeling intimidated or self-conscious. This is great for those new to Pilates or for those, like me, who are further along. Highly highly recommended. Enjoy!

I moved away from the "studio" I have used for the last 10 or so years, and needed to find a new one. It's hard now to measure any studio against you have had such a long and great relationship with. The studio has a variety of tables & machines (not my brand, but ...) and other techniques (or programs) - TRX. After an hour of putting me through my paces, assessing my skills & fitness, to see where I would fit into group classes, I feel pretty good about Gina & the studio. It's not my first home, but I think I'll grow to fit in. Gina has a great personality for a trainer; personable, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. I decided after my experience to sign up for the group classes, the first two between or calendars, all future are via the Internet, conveniently from home. I highly recommend if your are curious able Pilates or looking for a studio, you give Gina a try.

Cynthia took care, early on, to make sure that I never overextended myself and used proper form to avoid injury. So often I would fall back into my old habits. You know, head forward, shoulders hunched, etc. With gentle coaching I was able to correct my posture during exercises to gain the full benefit of my efforts. On departing Sequim, I continued to practice. It's really changed my life, and I've continued to book a session with Cynthia whenever I return.

The gym has several floors and they have made very good use of the space! The machines are a bit outdated and they could probably squeeze in a few more options, but it gets the job done. It is very clean & there is a spacious sauna and even a hot tub! They also offer water out of a Berkey water filter which I totally appreciate! Parking in front of the gym can sometimes be a challenge, but nothing in this town is a far walk :)
