During class you'll feel how thoughtful she is with communication and technique. Jenn takes her craft seriously and provides a fun environment. I'd feel safe to send my kids, sister, or parents to Solarte. Everyone at Solarte was incredibly welcoming. I travel for work and this is my 5th gym and my absolute favorite! I learned more here than the other gyms combined. As a working professional, some gyms do not do a great job to limit risk of becoming injured, Solarte is a gym that anyone can safely train at and become better at BJJ for any level: competition, self defense, or just plain fun. The studio has a variety of tables & machines (not my brand, but ...) and other techniques (or programs) - TRX. After an hour of putting me through my paces, assessing my skills & fitness, to see where I would fit into group classes, I feel pretty good about Gina & the studio. It's not my first home, but I think I'll grow to fit in. Gina has a great personality for a trainer; personable, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. Cynthia took care, early on, to make sure that I never overextended myself and used proper form to avoid injury. So often I would fall back into my old habits.
