Over the last two years, I've had the pleasure of dealing with the same issue repeatedly: my pilot light going out not once, not twice, but FOUR times. Each time, I had to fork over $89 for someone to come out and "fix" it. You would think after multiple visits, they might realize this isn't just a fluke--it's a recurring problem. But no, they were more interested in collecting my money than actually addressing the real issue. To make matters worse, my pilot light went out right before my deployment. I thought it had been resolved, but nope--while I was away, it went out again. So, when I returned home, instead of a warm welcome, I was greeted by cold water. When I called to get some answers, I was assured that I'd only have to pay the $89 for labor. Well, that was a complete lie. Not only did they charge me $278, but it was for a faulty valve--which they knew was defective before even seeing the unit. They came with the valve in hand! Multiple homeowners in my area have experienced the same issue, so it's obvious they knew the part was bad. They probably installed it just waiting for it to fail without giving homeowners a heads up, so they could keep cashing in on repairs. It's clear that this company doesn't care about service members either--it's equal opportunity to screw anyone over. This is a horrible way to do business and keep valuable customers. No wonder people are turning to DIY solutions rather than dealing with companies that just screw them over. If you care about your time, money, or sanity, I recommend finding another company or hiring someone who actually stands behind their work.
