we have a great experience every time we come. the cut is always great. it's quick. my children are always treated with so much kindness (same for me). they love the environment with a show playing on the TV & the themed chairs. oh and cannot forget about the little prizes. plus availability for an appointment (even done day of) is usually an option. 10 out of 10. read more

UPDATE: I have been coming here for 5 YEARS! The women working here are phenomenal! My son Declan loves going here he has been seeing Kahleelah since he was a year and a half. I have been bringing my son here for for almost 2 years.I'm shocked at seeing such negative reviews. We have had great experiences with both the stylists and the front desk. I can only imagine what a difficult job this must be, but every single time the stylists have been so incredibly patient and kind. I would highly recommend this salon for your little ones! read more

This place has turned to sh*t. Turned away last week because we were 3 minutes late. Arrived early this week had to sit in car until called. Then found out that the stylist we booked with is no longer there and they put us with someone else without telling us. I can't believe they are so stupid to think that we won't notice. Haircut was horrible. I paid for a kids cut but all I got was a bang trim. Never coming back. Sad because we've been coming here for a year and loved it. read more

I showed the woman a picture of what I wanted, I asked if it wold work with my son's hair texture, she assured me it would, I asked if she could work if my son cried and wiggle or should I just take him home, she assured me she's used to it. I usually request Samira for a haircut, but today I decided to try someone else since she is out for the week. Big mistake! The lady, Marjorie, that cut my son's hair and styled my daughter's hair had a terrible attitude! She was rude, unfriendly, uncaring and even upped the price on my daughter's hair style. I didn't complain about it since all I wanted to do was just leave that place. I definitely do not recommend this lady Marjorie at all. First time coming here and this was my sons second haircut ever, he's 15 months. His haircut was COMPLETELY botched. The woman cutting his hair took the electric trimmer and completely unevenly cut around his neck line and ears. It's so uneven it's embarrassing. I also asked for a half inch cut off because I wanted to keep his curcls, he now basically has a buzz cut due to another woman having to fix what she cut. His haircut actually looks like someone cut it with a blind fold on. His curls were cut off completely so praying they grow back. Honestly never been so upset. I will say they were very nice but I'm mortified by the haircut. read more

Best first hair cut experience!!! My son is 11 months old, and I was very apprehensive about his first haircut, but Ms. Kahleelah and all the staff were SO nice and very good with my son, and did EXACTLY what I requested for his hair. They even saved his hair for his baby book! Not to mention he got to ride in an adorable police car chair and watch his favorite movie, Moana! We'll definitely be back, and I would HIGHLY recommend this place to others! read more

I'm not sure I understand the bad reviews for this place. It's a perfectly fine establishment to take your kiddos in for a hair cut. I called to make an appointment on the same day as my haircut. The receptionist was friendly and my appointment was easily booked. When our family arrived for my two year old's first ever hair cut, we were taken right in and she was given a choice of different child-friendly seats to sit in (e.g. A car, fire truck, etc). Our stylist was very calm and patient with our high-energy wild child and didn't get frustrated when she would move or get up. She took the time to add a little braid and hair jewels after the cut, which our girl loved. Since it was her first haircut, we opted for their first haircut package which included a printed photo (taken by the stylist) in a little keepsake with a lock of her baby hair in a small attached bag. After the haircut, the kids get to pick a candy treat and a little toy from a treasure box. The whole experience was so much quicker and more painless than I was expecting. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff, and a clean facility. We will be back for sure. read more

We had a appointments and both started 15-20 minutes late. It's frustrating when you have an appointment and kids who come later for the same time sit down before your kid. Not worth your time! Had a 3:45pm appointment got there 8 minutes late with a 1 year 9 months old and was told they could no longer see me until 5pm... because of 8 minutes!! they made things more difficult than it had to be and made no effort to provide their service! I stayed there for about 10 min trying to figure out if I should wait or go to a different place while the hair stylist and receptionist just sat there waiting for the next client. During those 10 min they could've easily gotten my nephew's hair cut done. He barely has any hair we just needed a quick trim. The stylist just stood there and did nothing!!!! Not worth the stress especially when you have kids. Ended up going to Kids Kuts Salon 10 mim away instead and was VERY pleased with the service, they took us right in and even apologized for what had happened!!! Same price and NO STRESS! read more

Took my 11 month old here for his first haircut, and purchased the first haircut package. We were the only ones in the salon which was really nice, both employees had masks on, and they did a wonderful job trying to keep my baby calm! Of course, little man wasn't a fan so his haircut got a little botched in the back but all things considered it was a great experience! Its our daughter's first hair cut. We came due to all the great reviews. People are nice. Facility is clean. Very kids friendly. But the haircut itself is very mediocre. My daughter has straight long hair our request was just we need to cut it short but still able to pull it up when needed. After the haircut,there was no style and just a straight line cut and uneven. It was cute that her hair was braided and few jewels stickers were put on her hair but the bottom line is the haircut itself will not make me come back again. read more

I just had the BEST experience here! I brought my almost 3 year old in after she chopped off half of her hair to the scalp. She normally breaks out into tears when strangers try to talk to her, let alone cut her hair, but she did great. The stylist worked meticulously for as long as was needed to get her pixie cut just right. My daughter looks absolutely adorable. I love the hair products they sell and already use several. It is a bit more expensive than some walk-in salons, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend! read more

This kids hair salon is hit and miss for me. I have had good experiences, and mediocre ones. My most recent visit was frustrating because my daughter (2.5 years old) was being quiet and patient, yet the stylist seemed frustrated that she wanted to turn the steering wheel on the car chair she was in, as well as looking up at the TV playing a kids movie. I understand a lot of movement can mess up the evenness of a hair cut, however if you don't want kids to move, don't put them in cars with wheels or stick TVs in places you don't want them to look. I spent most of the time having to force hold my daughter's head in certain positions, which I had never had to do before. I have been getting her bangs/hair trimmed since she was around 1.5 years old. I am tempted to take her to my stylist in the future since the cost is the same and there are a lot less distractions there. read more

PT&CCs does such a great job on my girls' hair, so a couple of years ago, I started getting mine cut here too. Never been disappointed. Super cute store. Great customer service. I brought my 3yr old and was VERY disappointed. My son has curly hair so the 1st question asked was "is the stylist experienced with curly hair?" I was told yes and showed a picture of the haircut. She claimed she could do it, Not true! Another stylist attempted to correct the haircut my 3 year old had received and then told me because of his hair color the cut wouldn't be the same. If the first stylist couldn't do it she should NOT have cut period and I still had to pay $20! Not happy! read more

I have been here many times and have had very few good experiences. While my kids love the chairs and the toys, the employees are less than friendly and the hours are very inconvenient. Also, when they say they take their last walk-in 15 minutes before close, they really mean 30 (or when convenient for them). We will definitely not be returning. read more

I have been going there for years and the last couple of times they have done a horrible job with my kids hair. The last straw was today when I walked in at 5 (they close at 530) and instead of being greeted with a smile I got attitude. The girl very rudely asked if I called ahead and I said no then she said it would be an hour wait (there was only one kid waiting) I told her that was fine and then she rudely stated that they close in 30 min and they wouldn't have time for me. Their website states they take the last walk in 15 min before close. It was going to be my kids first haircut but oh well I guess. This used to be such a high quality place and now not so much. I've had nothing but fantastic experiences at this location. My wiggly 2 yr son is entranced by the train/taxi/car chairs, the constant Pixar movie playing, and the lollipops they give out. This place is great for the kids, I stop there to ask for a product for my child because his hair is curly and were very friendly, and they recommended to make an appointment and got that afternoon, I had my doubts take it because he is well hyperactive and I told them and they said is not a problem bring him , we arrived and was thrilled with chairs that are shaped car and there it stood on a chair Mrs. Edith was our stylist and take good care of my son , he behaved very well and she gave him a lollipop at the end , we will come back because we loved the place and people read more

Mrs Aura did a great job cutting my almost 1 year old son's hair. Not only did she keep him calm & comfortable while he wiggled around constantly, the cut itself turned out super cute! Not impressed at all with this place. The receptionist was unfriendly on the phone and told me the didnt make appointments. So we came in first thing on a saturday morning for my sons first haircut. there were 3-4 "stylists" and one kid getting his haircut. they told me it would be a few minutes but they had a train table and some cute little toys for my son to play with. So they brought us over to the little car that he sat in. Apparently i was expecting too much, but the "stylist" that cut his hair was impersonal and didnt seem to want to be bothered. She didnt talk and was annoyed that we took some pictures of him getting his first hair cut. it was dissapointing. Then again, when we were leaving, the receptionist was obviously not happy to be there. not a happy place in general like you would expect a kids salon to be.. i dont reccomend Pigtails and Crewcuts to friends.. read more
