Well I've now been to a Piggly Wiggly, a grocery store that has long been spoken of in family lore…read moresince my mom grew up in Wisconsin. I appreciate that it is what it is--a grocery store. It's a reasonably sized store, because that's what they do--they don't sell sushi, or have a a huge deli and bakery and butcher and all. They have an alcohol section--of course, this is Wisconsin after all--and it's not small for the size of the store. It was easy to shop, and they have t-shirts/onesies/sweatshirts in case you need some PW merch.

More of a market than a large grocery story. They have a large parking lot. Inside there are the usual items that you might need including a nice place to get some coffee. The produce looked good and fresh. We were hoping to pick up some local pasta that we had found online, however unfortunately they were out of stock. Prices seemed to be decent although some prices on seltzer water seemed higher than what we usually pay. Located conveniently right in town near several shops and restaurants.

None say hi, how are you when checking out or acknowledge you at all. Not a huge deal, but kind of weird. But today I stopped in to go to the deli, the older lady working was completely rude, as well at the older lady checking me out. She accidentally scanned grocery's on the belt that belonged to the person after me. When I told her they weren't mine, she thew a fit... Don't think I'm going back. I want to specify this is always the older women working there that are rude, obviously probably not all. And there are some younger girls that work there that are always very sweet.

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT DIARRHEA!…read more My family and I recently got a cabin in the Crivitz area, and we decided to shop here on our last trip up north to support the local economy. My fiance and I both ate some deviled eggs as a snack, and we should have stopped when we noticed they tasted a little off. About 20 minutes later, we were both extremely sick. My fiance ended up having uncontrollable diarrhea so bad that she had to go in the woods. I luckily made it to the toilet, but had several episodes throughout the evening. This obviously ruined our day. I did not want to make a big thing of this, but after both of us got that sick, and it was clearly from this store, we thought it was reasonable to ask for a full refund for the $130 we spent that day. The response was infuriating - we were told that staff ate a bunch of the eggs and were fine, so there's nothing they're going to do, and we should contact their lawyer. My fiance and I are both veterans and first responders, we are very honest people, and I had high hopes that this small town grocery store would come to a resolution with us. This is the first time in my life I will be contacting a civil attorney. I do no recommend supporting this business at all, the food made us horribly sick, and the staff's response was awful.

There's no one to get a hold of when there's a delivery time issue. Twice now they decided to deliver my items at their own convenience. Last yr one day they kept changing the times that they were going to be here. Don't mind that I have a job and I don't live here and then they ended up on another order telling me it would be the next day!, I needed that order for a gathering . I pick a certain time because of my work schedul. today I needed to leave work and take my father-in-law to a dr appt so I chose 12- 2 for a pickup. I was wondering what was happening and I checked my order and they decide they're coming between 3 and 4. We'll guess what? They can go back and put the food away and bring it back tomorow. that is not the time I chose. I had to leave. if you don't have the people to deliver your groceries, why are you advertising that we can do such a thing and have it delivered and be able to pick our time as well. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

As we looked around we were able to locate their pizza burgers, also approved by my wife. We bought all they had. They even had beef bacon that we picked up.
