Italian sandwich

GARDEN FRESH TOMATO ON MY SANDWICH I have only had one of their sandwiches but is was really good. The bread was really fresh and nice and soft on the inside and crunchy in the outside. I took one bite and thought why does this taste so good and remind me of my childhood. The bread was really fresh, the meats tasted great but it was something else. I thought it might be the tomatoes. I asked if the tomatoes came from the store and they said that the owner has a garden in the back of the restaurant and when in season serves fresh home grown tomatoes (at least on the sandwiches as far as I know). Can not believe the difference this made, I knew it was something but crazy how a hyper local tomato can be SO good.

Look at the garbage quality of that cheese

At first sight Pietro's looks like a great restaurant very modern decor inside, staff seems nice. Now what's great decor without great food. I ordered a pepperoni pie and a chicken frisco sandwich. Chicken was dry there was no honey mustard had to add more to it. Now the pizza is on a whole other planet. The mozzarella they use is absolutely shit. The sauce taste like they use prego marinara sauce. I definitely think they should give their pizzas away. Just to show you how much shit this pizza is I have a couple pictures of it. Pietros need to step up their game or get rid of their cook one of the other. Never eating this garbage again

This review is a week plus in the waiting but definitely deserved by Pietro's. I was craving a hamburger (not unusual for me) and my fiancé was in the mood for something from Pietro's so, I decided to give their bacon cheeseburger a shot. SURPRISE! It was actually really good - it could be pretty hit or miss from a place you go to for quality Italian food. I was not expected it to arrive on a pizza bread but that was probably exactly what put it over the top for me. The patty was thick and juicy and all of the accompaniments were super fresh and plentiful. They were not stingy on the bacon like I find many establishments to be either. The french fries were perfectly seasoned and of the proper size. I highly suggest trying it - you will be most pleasantly surprised. Ill be back in a few days to post about last night's dinner from here. We were beyond happy!

Grilled chicken fresh mooz roasted peppers wrap . Loaded with chicken!

Always get some sort of grilled chicken wrap. Love the fresh mooz roasted peppers grilled chicken wrap and my girl always gets the chicken francaise sub or the steak and mushrooms. Delivery is always on point. I just moved into town and looking for some more go to spots such as this one. Thanks! Update during snowstorm ordered and got my first bad wrap from there. Forgot my dressing and extra mozzarella I said I would pay for. Usually solid please don't get lazy on your regulars there are many places in Lyndhurst. Waitresses always on point.

Cute lunch atmosphere

Delicious ruben sub. I thought the chicken francese sub was pretty good too, but the ruben was better. I enjoyed the bread on the sandwich a lot. I also tried their house salad with balsamic...dressing was not good. I like the atmosphere here. It's a great casual lunch joint (cafe/deli sit down). They have a lot of booze for purchase, but only for take-out. Came here again and the sandwich definitely lacked. I ordered Grilled Chicken, Roasted Red Peppers, Balsamic, and Arugula. Barely any Arugula and Roasted Red Peppers...

$4 or this???? I dont think so.

We love this place. We recently found out about it because we saw a few social media videos talking…read moreabout their daily specials and new management which enticed us because we didn't know much about what they offered before. They have great happy hour specials and staff who are there to honor the deals and give you a fun experience. Nothing worse than walking into a bar because of an advertised deal and the bartender charging you full price because they didn't know anything about the deal. That doesn't happen here which is huge!!! They have multiple TVs and seating areas, which make it perfect for watching sports. Drinks are great and food is delicious. We love the chicken quesadilla and wings. The espresso martini was surprisingly good. We love their drink pitchers as well. Overall you can tell they care about the community, and want to offer a reliable and fun experience in an area that doesn't have too many bars like this. We have returned multiple times since the first time because we love the consistency, fun events, and friendly staff. The only thing they could improve on is the music. When there's a DJ, it's a great night, but when it's up to Touch Tunes there's room for improvement. We still will return whenever we are looking for a good time!

They had a DJ play music the whole fight card except for the last main match. I mean, they should just have him play between rounds or something. The pork sliders were cold too but the server was good and consistent throughout the night with cold beers.

Any old-timers out there remember when this was The Nutley Pub? (As one Yelper wrote, "Not the…read moreclassiest bar but..." - which perfectly summed up the last place.) Now going strong for well over a decade (?!) - Cowan's is classy and cool and leans into its strengths. Easily the hippest and most-happening spot in Nutley (and the surrounding towns) for the 'mature crowd' that's probably more interested in mash and hops and wort than getting hammered and making bad decisions at last call. The (ever rotating) beers on tap are stellar. The selection of bottles (of the harder stuff) on the picturesque back bar are eye-catching (even if I never heard of half of them). (After a few visits I still haven't tried the food. One of these days I'll get around to that, I promise.) Recommended, for sure.

Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. My husband ordered the steak, which was overcooked and very tough. The portion was essentially a few small pieces of steak served over fries, which was not what we expected. My daughter and I ordered burgers, which were okay but nothing particularly memorable. I also asked if my daughter could have her lemonade served in one of the fun Halloween cups, since that was part of what made the restaurant appealing to her. Our waitress told me she couldn't do that. On top of that, two of the appetizers we wanted to order were unavailable, as were the shot glasses we requested. The service was also disappointing. Our waitress did not introduce herself, was not particularly friendly, and never asked if it was our first time visiting. She also didn't offer any recommendations or explain the specials, which would have been especially helpful since we were first-time guests. Overall, we came in excited based on what we had seen on Instagram, but unfortunately the food, service, and overall experience did not live up to our expectations. We really wanted to enjoy this place, especially with our daughter, but we left feeling very disappointed

Which a cute spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch! Food was great, so many good options on the menu…read moreit was hard to decide. Service was quick and friendly!

We made plans to meet friends for brunch at Sonoma Bistro and arrived a bit early for our…read morereservation. We were able to snag a parking spot on the busy main street and walked over to the corner restaurant. Between the sidewalk tables and the inside dining room, the place was completely packed. We walked inside to check in with the hostess. She let us know that they still needed a bit more time on our table, but that we could wait at their small bar. The dining area was modern and more minimalist, except for the giant imitation tree in the center, which gave the place more charm. While the place was inviting, it was also extremely loud, so instead, we asked to have a table outdoors. That request turned out to be the right move, as it was much more peaceful on the street. As more and more time went on, we were very confused about where our friends were. It turned out that they had driven to the restaurant's Nutley location instead. Thankfully, that was not too far away, and our fantastic server, Leo, distracted us with pleasurable conversation and rich, robust coffee. Once the others finally arrived and we were able to order food, I went with the "Power Bowl" brunch special. The plate of healthier items included scrambled egg whites, feta, quinoa, spinach, pickled red onions, lox, and sweet potatoes. The smoked salmon and the cheese both added some mild salt and extra flavor to what was already a delicious meal. We really enjoyed our brunch at the Sonoma Bistro...in Rutherford, and I would love to go back to try some of their interesting cocktails and sweet pastries.
