I have purchased four cars at Tom Denchel Ford in Prosser. Their service, morals and ethics far exceed any other dealership I have ever purchased a vehicle from! I've gotten to know the owner, his son, the finance manager and many sales employees. Every experience, encounter and conversation has always been genuine and thoughtful. I would trust my daughter to shop for her car there on her own and feel absolutely confident that she would not be taken advantage of. More importantly, if I felt the deal was bad, I know all I would have to do is going to speak to them and they would make it right! The last car I purchased from them was for my son. It was an older vehicle in need of some work. I knew this when I bought it and got a fabulous price! I left the dealership extremely please with how much we paid. Within two days I did everything that needed done with very little out-of-pocket expense. Within a week the owner's son came to visit me at my work and asked how I liked our car. I told him I thought it was an excellent deal and although I had to do some work I was very pleased. He asked me what kind of work that I have to do? I answered and told him about how much I had to spend for parts. I said thank you for having such a great team of individuals working for you. He looked disappointed and said I'd like to reimburse you for the parts. I would not allow it because I knew I had already got a great price. After he left my work a few hours later, an employee from Tom Denchel came to my work and gave me a gift certificate to reimburse me for all of my expense. I highly recommend their location and family owned business! read more

David Gonzalez is a"Rockstar" plain and simple. This man does everything he says. 1) Hey gave me the price I was looking for. 2) He gladly accepted my cash payment without trying to flip me into financing. 3) He brought the truck into Oregon so I didn't have to travel as far to get it, as I was traveling from So.Oregon. 4) He took, and responded to every phone call while we were hashing out details. I never felt like he was to busy for me, he made me feel like I was the only customer in the world... Being the SM at the Prosser dealership, I'm sure a very busy man. 5) I did mention that I had no interest in ANY extended warranties, or anything else, and he NEVER tried to hard sell me on anything I didn't want. 5) He said that it would take about 30 minutes to finalize paperwork... It took less... He had everything filled out, and ready for me to sign, explaining everything I was signing. I NEVER at anytime felt like he was try to get over on me. 6) The truck was clean, full of fuel, spare key, manual, along with extra floor mats, everything he promised. After having the worst experience at another dealership, I was a gunshy customer who was low on trust. David Gonzalez restored that trust. While we were hashing out details, David kept thanking me for the opportunity to "Earn my business".... David has earned my business, and then some. I will always start with David looking at future vehicle needs. Thank You Brandon Johnson, and David Gonzalez for making me a happy Ford F-150 owner... All my best, Shawn H. read more

In November of 2010 I bought a 2003 Eddie Bauer Ford Expedition from Tom Denchel's Fordcountry.com in Hermiston. Jaime and Cyndie together helped me and could not had made the process any smoother than it was. They were both incredible, caring, kind and helpful not your typical dealer experience. The interesting thing is every person I have come in contact with at Fordcountry.com in Hermiston has the same mentality, whether it is sales, service, parts or accounting. They have all been nothing but kind and helpful. I don't normally have my car serviced at a car dealership because I always thought it was more expensive and that they were always trying to get more out of me. I'm happy to say Fordcountry.com in Hermiston has proven me wrong. They actually care and do everything in their power to help me with every aspect of my rig, no matter how small or big. They are truthful and helpful. When it comes time for our family to purchase another vehicle it will be through Tom Denchel's Fordcountry.com in Hermiston. Thank you Cyndie, Jaime and Mike for always taking care of me and my Eddie B! Sincerely, Chelle Hall read more

I went to TOM Denchel ford to look for a newer pickup truck and trade in my 1997 ford f150 and didn't see anything I liked in my price range but the HIGH pressure salesmen pushed and pushed for the sale when I said I will look around some more he said boy I drive all the way down here from Natchez and sure need this sale, and so like a dumb bunny i purchased the 2007 ford f150. So later on in the week I started to look on line (Kelly blue book) and found out I paid $2000 more than blue book and when I went back and talked with the( MAIN sales manager) he told me they don't use Kelly blue book and when he asked me what would make me happy for the deal and I said (pay Kelly blue book) he refused First let me say I will Never buy any car or truck again from TOM Denchel ford ever again and would never recommend them and unless you like being taken for a ride, HIGH PRESSURE sales tactics, and never a good deal ! read more

I just purchased a vehicle from here, the salesman were not pushy, they were totally opposite. They were all kind and polite, friendly, I felt very comfortable being on the lot. All I had to do was state what type of car I was looking for and they knew what I needed. Plus they were kind enough to switch over my tires from my other vehicle with a wheel alignment included. It was an awesome experience. The vehicle also came with a full tank of gas. It was a great experience. Thanks to Tom Denchel Ford for the great experience. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you so much!! I needed to go out of state, so while my tires were being switched, they lent me a loaner to travel on for the day!! I couldn't ask for anything more. They treated me very well. read more

The folks in the service department are great to work with. This F-250, we purchased is the second vehicle we have purchased from Tom Denchel. The truck was a used vehicle and it was not certified pre-owned. We were not interested in paying the cost of a brand new vehicle so we looked at several trucks on the lot. The model year of the truck we ended up purchasing has major engine issues, but we did not know that prior to our purchase. We were relying on the salesman to be honest with us and have found out that he was not. They probably were happy to get this piece of poor engineering off their lot. We would not recommend purchasing a used vehicle at Tom Denchel, unless it is a certified pre-owner vehicle that they have to stand behind. read more

I had ordered a 23 Maverick Hybrid. It came to the railyard in Portland. The battery cable was cut, then the battery somehow got stolen. Then they fixed it, and delivered it to somewhere. They still can't find it. They ordered a 24 with a different color. It just arrived. Well worth the wait. Im thinking this could have been the absolute worst experience. But everyone at Tom Denchel made the best of a less than pleasant situation. A the ford customer service updated every week. I'm really happy. read more

I have been coming to this dealership for over 20 years. I have purchased everything from my Mustang and Escape to my F-150 at this store. It feels small town with big city reach. I have personally been a part of helping many customers find the perfect vehicle, and even get a handful of them serviced. There is alot of room for growth and now in my management journey it is my goal to take the store and the reputation to another level. Whatever it takes! read more

JT was by far the easiest and most relatable car salesman we have ever dealt with! He went out of his way to pull a car from their other lot to help us out, making the buying process easier. I would recommend JT to anyone looking to buy or lease! Best part, he wasn't pushy....ya know how most salesmen annoy you by the end? Not JT! Thank you for your help in purchasing my dream car! read more

We purchased a 2025 Ford Raptor from this dealership in June. We really enjoyed working with Jay. Purchased a new 2014 F150 in less than an hour and a half and got maximum trade in value. Arnold was courteous and efficient and got the truck brought in from another area within three days. Larger local dealer would not match trade in value already obtained so to Tom Denchel Ford I went. read more
