I live in Garner (25 minutes north) and I still make the drive. I like that the fruits and vegetables offered come directly off the family farmlands, in close proximity to the business. Indeed, the road which runs horizontally in front of the business is called Holland Road. Not a crazy-extensive range of selection, but what is offered is, of course, in-season and of very good quality. I remember the day I bought tomatoes and made these photographs... I drove straight home and proceeded to O.D. on tomato sandwiches - a thick layer of mayonnaise and healthy shake of coarse pepper on each one of them. Nirvana. This could be because of the small size of The Depot, not allowing for many, or I may have been there on a slow day, so they didn't utilize all the space available. The goal is to have vendors within 150 miles of Apex. All the vendors were close together, so you don't need to walk far to see what is available. Benches were also available. They have activities for kids as well. If I am in Downtown Apex on another Saturday, I will return again.
