There are lots of produce choices, several plant stalls, a couple of meat vendors, several florists, and then some truly great food vendors. There is also a whole indoor area with lots of great vendors, some food options, and coffee. It's absolutely ginormous! It's a must visit when in Raleigh!

The only fruit I saw was strawberries, blueberries and apples. I got the strawberries and blueberries. No purple potatoes to be found but they had plenty of sweet potatoes. I accidentally dropped bee pollen on the ground and it smashed. Somebody came to sweep it up in about a half a minute. ( no one was hurt) i I went over to the cashier and told him that I did drop the bee pollen and I apologize it was an accident and asked if I was responsible for that and he said accidents happen and yes you are he charge me $18 for the bee pollen at full price with much Arrogance. I've been in business before would never treat a customer this way.

The freshest vegetables that you can find around and if for some reason you find some that is not they will exchange without questions, once in a blue moon because the name of the game is to move the produce quickly and they do, some days that I got there after 3pm the place was almost empty. Juan #1 is German but was raised in Mexico and speaks, German, Spanish and English fluently and works from about 4am until 3Pm Juan #2 and the other members of the team work very hard to have your order ready when you get there. Prices are very fair and far cheaper that Big Produce companies in the area. The last time I was there about a month ago I got me a box of beets that I shared with some of the neighbors

I frequent the farmers market here in Raleigh, and would easily say I am there at least 4 times per…read moremonth. This past week I visited Roberts Family Farm to buy pecans. I bought pecans that had been cracked but not shelled, and was told that the bags were 5 pounds each, this year's crop. The gentleman waiting on my helped me gave me the alternatives of buying shelled, cracked, or in shell, and assured me I was getting the best deal at 5 lbs for $28, so I purchased. Since I bought more than one bag, I kept thinking that they should be heavier, so upon arriving home, I proceeded to weigh each bag. None were more than 2 lb. 10 oz each. They were also old, not this year's crop. I returned to the market today and in a very kind way inquired about the shortage. The same gentleman waited on me again and denied even waiting on me earlier in the week. No apology, no offer to make things right. I am sorry to see this kind of thing going on here at our farmers market. Most of the vendors I have dealt with over the years would have at least made an effort to make it right. This will be my last transaction with this farm.
