The shrimp and crab were flavorful from start to finish. I ordered mild because everyone's mild isn't mild lol. To be honest I could have probably gone to their medium because the mild had the slightest kick to it that I wondered if it was mild or no spice at all. The service was quick and easy and if I am ever in Huntsville again I would order again. Being a person who resides in Louisiana I will say they did a good job of boiling the seafood. Accidentally discovered this restaurant while in the neighborhood, and it happened to already be on my bookmark. They did a great job on retaining the original seafood flavor. I really liked the fried oysters, though they messed up the order and used regular fries instead of Cajun. The fried crawfish was also good, you can taste the actual crawfish flavor. We stopped by to try the catfish. I know there are other restaurants that serve catfish and this one had rave reviews. It was quiet and cool inside at 2:30. It was nice to sit and not hear others talking. I ordered the lunch portion of clams with 2 baby red potatoes and a small ear of corn. I asked for the 88 seasoning non spicy. When my food came out in the bag, I realized it would be messy. Part of the novelty must be to put the bib on and dive in which is what I did. My clams were delicious and cooked perfectly. The baby red potatoes and corn sealed my meal at a perfect 5/5!!! Dave had the catfish and fries. When his order came out, I could see the smile he was wearing. The catfish was very hot and he had to wait a few minutes before he took a bite. He said the catfish were awesome and began diving in. He rates the catfish 5/5. Calamari here is not smelly and cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the cocktail sauce served with it with the right amount of horseradish. 5/5 We were hungry and ate before I thought about pictures. I came here for my beatest birthday. She went to the one in another state. We came here and the place was nice and spacious. The server was friendly and helped us order the best boil bag. Waking in the restaurant my family was welcomed with warm and accommodating hostess. She sat us right away. The restaurant was clean and looked great. Our waitress gave perfect service. I'll start with the food. I started off with 6 raw oysters. They were very good. I had a fried combo basket, consisting of shrimp, oysters, and catfish, with fries. We came at 3pm on Thursday and it wasn't that busy. It was happy hour, so we capitalized in that. I got the 88 Punch, hush puppies and I got the Dungeness crab boil. My husband got the low country boil. One thing that stood out to us, was the fact they put hard boiled eggs in their boils. I've never seen that. I recommend getting the 88 Special seasoning- hot. Pier 88 reign supreme with their seafood boil, in my opinion. It's been hard to find consistency and quality with some of the others in the area and my experiences have been underwhelming with them. I'm big on flavor and Pier 88's packs a punch. I always get the 88 special seasoning with the hot spice level. Never disappoints. I am a huge fan of seafood. I am visiting family out here and they told me about a wonderful seafood place that they knew I would probably enjoy. I love muscles. So I had to order the muscles and I made sure to get the garlic butter seasoning with medium spice level sauce. Everything was delicious. There was so much food that I wasn't able to finish it all. I had to take the fried oyster Poboy home. I ate maybe half of the Poboy sandwich. It was fantastic. The service was really good. I tipped my waiter 15%. Ate here for the first time recently as so many have recommended it to me... I admit that I wasn't really hungry, but I love seafood (ESPECIALLY RAW OYSTERS!), and they are one of not-very-many restaurants in the area that offer raw oysters so I stopped in. I ordered half a dozen raw oysters, as well as a 1/2 pound of steamed shrimp. I was so glad that I ordered the shrimp too because although edible, the oysters were not too good. They didn't taste rotten or anything- just 'different' somehow- hard to explain really. On the other hand, the shrimp were steamed perfectly and served chilled- which I prefer- so I enjoyed them very much! I will go back to try some other menu items, but I doubt I'll get any more oysters. read more

I went with a pair of friends and were were seating quickly, but discussed it and moved to the bar. Our bartender / waitress was Denise and she is GREAT. One friend and I ordered fried baskets and the third ordered a boil. My shrimp and oyster basket with sweet potato fries was fresh and cooked and spiced perfectly and the fries were tender and delicious. My only "complaint" would be the floor was REALLY slick, making it difficult to walk - this is just not enough to stop me from a 5 Star Rating though. The entire place including the restroom was spotless. This will be a regular spot for me. Health Rating is 92 at the time of our visit. read more

First impression is a nice clean open concept restaurant. We were seated immediately at a clean table covered in plastic. It went down with the famous low country boil and maybe the best onion rings I've ever had! The spicy Bloody Mary was a hit too. The low boil had a few spice options so we said all of them please. There was an egg in the boil and a corn on the cob that this girl with braces ate up. The onion rings had the best sauce with them and they were cooked perfectly. I got the boil with crab, shrimp and a lobster tail. I hate it when the crab shell seems half empty and this was very full.
