The Torino Airport is kind of a dinky airport. It's a bit outdated, but has adequate shops and restaurants to not spend too much time in.
Anyway, coming upstairs to the orange Aperol colored Piemonte lounge, there was a line out the door. The wait wasn't too bad and I suppose it's better to let people know it's full than try to squeeze in people instead. Most of the reviews were underwhelming. I am here at 7pm writing this review and it's getting cleared up now.
I'm giving it 4 because the buffet was better than I thought. Maybe it's my first time in Italy and in general this country has good produce and ingredients. But for me, some items surpasses the typical crappy, salty airport food. Grilled eggplant with basil and olive oil, mozzarella, cakes and vegetable dishes were fresh, tasty and delicious. Bare in mind, after 20hrs of travel and still going, I'm just happy to see fresh veggies. My Aperol spritz, great! It's not a fancy lounge, but it hits the spot for my priority pass usage.
TL;DR - unexpectedly decent drink and food selection. Don't bother coming up if you want just want to sit or work. read more
