    Ugly lounge, delicious food!
    Jay Y.

For a fashion capital like Milan, this airport lounge in her major international gateway is certainly a fashion disaster, but it still uphold the Italian standards of good food sempre! Sala Pergolesi is the only lounge in the satellite terminal where all US and Israel flights depart, so I thought it would make a lasting final impression of Milan's fashion. But after feeling like I'm intruding a city-wide catwalk during my few days in Milan, I was surprised to find Sala Pergolesi to be the ugliest airport lounge I've been. Although it's spacious and has many chairs, the decor - if there was intended to be so - was bareboned and even a colorblind person like me can tell the color schemes are off! But enough about slamming the bad decor! The chairs are comfortable enough, but most importantly, the food was one of the best I had in an airport lounge! Although it doesn't have the wide buffet like I had in London Heathrow's United Club, Sala Pergolesi's food certainly win with quality. Lavazza coffee machine, Sanpellegrino drinks, fancy yogurt in glass containers...But dear god, my favorite has to be the chocolate- and custard-filled croissants! Both the chocolate and custard fillings were perfectly sweet and the lightly crisp of the croissant shells made it more heavenly. These stuffed croissants are so good that I actually did not want to leave the lounge until the very last minute because I can't help getting multiple helpings! Honestly I didn't eat anything else other than these croissants and other cookies (which are good too), but the rest of my party said the other food choices were delicious as well. For a glutton like me, I prefer a lounge with bad decor and great food over the vice-versa, and Sala Pergolesi fits the former. Lucky you if you have a Priority Pass! You'll have a good time indulging yourself with delicious Italian snacks here before you leave. --- tl;dr version: 1) Ugly lounge especially for a fashion capital 2) Top-quality Italian snacks and coffee 3) Waiting for a plane is never this delicious!

Bland and tasteless. Coffee was alright

This is by far one of the worst lounges I've ever been in. The food selection is extremely minimal, what you do get is dry and bland. You're better off buying something to eat before coming here. I 've been here a few times now and each time is exactly the same. I'll pack my own lunch next time for sure. On the up side, seating is good, wifi is alright and it's generally quite quiet.

Upon entering the lounge up the escalator, I was greeted by a lady that wasn't exactly friendly, but she also didn't spit in my face which was nice. I remember walking into the large open space thinking, "is this it?" This lounge certainly does the job of providing beverages and snacks in an area separate from the common waiting area. Though they were not hard as a rock the seats had the softness of recently solidified lava and a paralleled comfort level. I produced a cappuccino from the machine in the food area as I settled in. It left an impression just as good as the lava chairs. The food selections consisted of alcoholic beverages, fruit juices, water, cookies, instant noodle, and fruit. The bathrooms were small and the toilets flushed incessantly (but I suppose it's better than the other extreme). Upon exiting, I had to carry my luggage down a flight of stairs, which was good because I hadn't worked out that day.

A hard no. Hope you got your walking shoes on. Some pastries and watered down juices. The coffee was decent. Not much to offer here.

Note, if…read moreyou are purchasing the train ticket to go to Terminal 2 and not 1, the train still stops at Terminal 1. We made the mistake of getting off one stop early at Terminal 1 and had to wait 15-20 min for the free shuttle to take us to Terminal 2 for our Easyjet flight. When the shuttle arrived at Terminal 2, we figured the entrance for departures was where the shuttle stopped in front of... it had stopped in front of the train station area. We went outside and turned right to get to the departures entrance. Staff was not very helpful nor were the signs. Cannot rely on anything or anyone to help direct you in this terminal. As usual, with European airports, once you go through TSA, you are forced to walk through their Duty-free maze in order to get to your gate.

She complained as soon as she saw us, in Italian thinking we wouldn't understand saying "oh for f*** sake, 4 people at one time, useless". The security did nothing to help the situation but put their hands in our face to stop us talking. They kept telling my mentally ill sister to "calma" whilst she was crying hysterically and screaming out of fear and anxiety and threatened to not let us get on the plane. The Albanian lady kept trying to agravate the situation, when we asked her to stop talking so that she wouldn't make the situation worse she would come closer and shout out loud which made my sister worse. She kept looking for attention from her own colleagues & all (excdpt for Stefano, the Italian chubby girl with curly and 1 lady police officer) stood there rolling their eyes at us. Inhumane service, disgusting that they are meant to make everyone feel safe, but instead they make helpless people, with anxiety, autism, depression, epilepsy disorders feel worse. The lady needs to be sanctioned for what she did and needs to apologise for the stress she has caused my family. Even my 13 year old sister was standing there crying because of the situation and the "security" were rudely and arrogantly telling her to "calma". They do not care about their customers. The Albanian lady needs to be fired. I have tried to contact customer services so many times and they have ignored me. Horrible horrible service
