Service was good, fries were tasty and not overly salted. Fried in beef tallow. Steak pie pastry tasted microwaved and was really unpleasant. Only a few steak pieces inside but they were good. It all arrived from the kitchen in less than 10 minutes from ordering. Bar is cute and authentic. I would come back but I wouldn't ever eat the pie crust again.

I love this shop! Pies are very delicious, fresh and flavorful. The selection is awesome. Service and ambiance is great! Your mouth will water as soon as you walk in, the goodness is real! They have a small market area with some great snacks, drinks, frozen pies, and specialty ice cream. Yummy factor: 10 stars!

Great selection, nice pub atmosphere, nice service. I recommend particularly for any Brits or Aussies. Cottage (Potato) Pie and Eton Mess for lunch. Just outside of Savannah, GA. There're two Pie Society places in GA. We've been to the one in downtown Savannah. So I thought I'd try this one. They make the best meat pies in the U.S. and have a great selection. Worth the drive.

Victoria Sponge and Steak & Bleu Cheese Pasty

I was absolutely blown away by the excellent flavor of everything I sampled. Starting with the flavor explosion of the blue cheese pasty , persuaded me that desert was a MUST . Enter the most proper of Victorian Sponges with and indecently creamy center . And the lovely China it is presented on really does make for first bite swoon. We enjoyed the patio seating , the counter ordering , was deceptive , as we felt the staff gave us a "full service " dining experience, bringing our food , condiments and beverage refills. It was an easy choice to get a take and bake (it's 1/2baked) Chicken Pot pie for an easy supper , and a frozen personal size "Thanksgiving pie" for later. Those were also excellent . Pie Society is a new reason to "do lunch "during any visit to Savannah

Great food, service, and atmosphere. We had bangers and mash and Coq Au Vin pie. We actually dined on their menu items in the Crown and Anchor Pub, to which it is attached.

Steak & Steak and Ale Pie

I am a local military member who had the good luck to have Pie Society's food truck on base recently. I ordered the steak & ale pie which comes with mashed potatoes and is topped with a brown gravy. The pie was a nice size and was stuffed with tender chunks of beef and sauce. The crust was nice and flakey which is not always the case with little pies! The mashed potatoes were for sure homemade and creamy (always the chance of getting instant ). My favorite I think was the gravy I could have had gravy soup and have been happy. I have a British friend who I sent a photo of the food to who said it looked legit and just needed chives. Extra points for authenticity.

I would give it 5 stars but it's kinda too expensive but all is fresh and tasty. Good first date spot.

The place was super clean. The staff gave extra-friendly service. The food was hot and fresh. Highly recommend fresh-made fish and chips. They are worth it and so good. The pie crust is thick and rich, filled with delicious fresh ingredients. We will go back again!

Heavily damaged meat pie... because it is delicious

What an amazing place! As someone that has the opportunity to travel all over I have to say this is on par with what I had while in the UK. The owner is obviously from there as you will have no doubt once you walk in! My wife and I had the fish and chips and we ordered a meat pie so we could try it with the kids. Wow! On both accounts! Absolutely delicious and I can't wait to try other dishes. I will definitely be back! What wonderful staff and great service. I highly recommend this place! You won't be sorry! I should've taken more pictures but I was too busy feeding myself

    "Millionaire's shortbread"
    JA S.

As an Aussie who's also lived in London I was super excited to check this place out when I learned about a British Pie shop being in Pooler. Long story short it's just okay. I appreciate the mini grocery store, most things can be bought in the international aisle at Publix cheaper but they do have some things that are harder to find. Biggest disappointment was the "millionaire shortbread" or should I say a 90% shortbread with a barely-there hardly-caramelized condensed milk layer and a badly melted chocolate topping. This is not a millionaire's shortbread!

Every time I'm in this town I'm going here hell or high water , I get so excited I'm not sure what to order. So mostly I grab plenty of English chips and candy bars. Then onto sausage rolls and delicious meat pies for the ride home and in the car. Having been to England three times I can say without a doubt this place fondly reminds of the country I love.

Ask the Community - Pie Society

Is there anything at the Pie Society is gluten-free? I didn't see anything on their menu to indicate that. Hope, hope, HOPE.

You won’t find anything gluten-free on the fly but the bakery can make them for you if you call and pre-order.

You could easily miss this hidden gem, tucked away on the corner beside a gas station. There are dine-in options, but most people seemed to be taking their food to go. It's the best quick to go option I've seen. They had my order ready in no time. I ordered an assortment of tacos: carne asada, birria, and fish tacos, plus a side of guacamole and chips. To top it all off, I added their homemade cheesecake casera with strawberry purée... and of course, a large agua de jamaica con limonada. The staff were some of the friendliest I've experienced in the area--must be because they're from Cali lol. My only suggestion would be to leave the sauces off the tacos for to-go orders, or explain that "all the way" means everything on them. By the time I got back to my hotel, the sauce had soaked through the tacos, so I missed that classic one-hand taco experience. Also... definitely add extra limes. Thankfully, those chips came to the rescue, and the flavors absolutely did not disappoint. Bottom line: it really did hit close to home. The flavors were on point, and the true winners of it all were the fish tacos and the cheesecake.

Extremely disappointing customer service after 10+ years as a customer…read more I placed an online order for about $50 worth of food. When I arrived, I was told their system had undercharged me by $2. No problem, I was happy to pay the difference. Instead of simply letting me pay the $2 and giving me the order I placed, they told me they had already made something different and that I could either take the wrong tacos or buy two additional tacos. I had to argue just to receive the order I had already placed and paid for. The issue started because their online system only allowed me to select one meat option for a 3-taco order. My wife is pregnant and specifically wanted three carne asada tacos, so I selected carne asada (with the $1 upcharge) and placed the order along with about $35 more in food. When I arrived, they had made tacos with random meats instead and suggested I just take them. After finally agreeing to fix it, they insisted I pay the difference but charged me $3 plus tax instead of the $2 they originally said. I questioned it, and immediately after charging me they admitted it actually was $2. By then I had already been overcharged and no one seemed concerned about fixing it. So to summarize: * Their system glitch caused the issue * I was willing to pay the difference immediately * I had to push just to receive the order I placed * They overcharged me anyway and didn't correct it All of this over $2. After more than a decade of supporting this place, the way this was handled left a really bad impression. The food has always been good, but the customer service during this interaction was extremely poor. I won't be back.

During the COVID-19 quarantine we have had several local food trucks from the area rotate for lunch/dinner during the week. I am so sad I only made it to The Naked Dog once before I moved back north. I am a hot dog lover, so imagine my difficulty in not ordering every variation from the menu! My husband and I decided on a few to split (not knowing their size): a classic Naked dog with classic toppings (ketchup, mustard, relish); a slaw dog; a Reuben dog; and a Chicago dog. If I could be speechless in a written Yelp review, I'd leave it at that. The dogs were jumbo sized, toppings were plentiful, tasty and temperature just right. The slaw dog was my absolute favorite - the cole slaw had the perfect consistency and was simple enough to not overpower the dog itself. The Reuben was a legit sandwich on a burger, pastrami and all. The dressing was perfect. The Chicago was classic and wonderful, complete with the unique green Chicago relish. Last but not least, smoothies! What better pair than a smoothie and a dog? We tried peach and strawberry. They were fruity, had chunks of real fruit and were not overly sweet. Just amazing!
