I'm the only living person in Glendora Bird Dog & Barnyard slices from #piehole
    Mojo S.

It's rare to find a pizza joint to handle the witching hours of the evening, but Pie Hole stands vigilant at its post through 3 a.m. and the gods bless them for it. And I do too. There was a 24-hour pizza joint in West Hollywood a bunch of us would go to after shows because it's your right to get pizza at the ungodly hours of the evening/early morning. Late-night pizza just hits differently, better even. Because everyone can have pizza with the other daywalkers, but when nightwalkers eat pizza it's because they know the stars and the moon and the dead bless the pie with all that after hours goodness. My slices were great here. They filled me up like the holiest of pizza spirits that still haven't left me over an hour later. I may never be the same. I'm a changed man. The space, though small, was cool. It's exactly what I'd expect out of an all-night pizza joint. It kind of reminds me of Nice Guy Burgers, who stay open till 2 am themselves, except minus the motivational guru for an owner. The counter person tonight was my spirit animal, very much telling me my slices weren't their cup of tea but hoping I'd enjoy them for me. That's the energy I aspire--your choices are so wrong in my book, but you do you. Pie Hole is where these thoughts come from and if you want your mind rattled and toyed with, as well as your palate, then you need to come here. Like now. Now now.

We stopped by here for a brief lunch on our way from Moab back to Sacramento, CA. One of my friends recommended it from during his time living in SLC. It seems like the kind of pizza place you go to after a night out. I tried 3 of their daily specials which were all so unique and delicious. The vibe is super divey so you could probably take some cute hipster photos here.

I consider Pie Hole a Salt Lake staple when it comes to late night bites, and have many fond memories throughout the years sharing slices with friends. Its divey essence and grungey interior makes it a prime pit stop for foodies who want a quick post-bar fixing, plastered with stickers and towering beer cans. Their rotating pizza menu includes classics like pepperoni and cheese, as well as new creations with various sauces and toppings. The pizza itself is good - a bit on the greasy side but it's pretty consistent and has great flavor. Being a dive-style pizza joint, you can expect straightforward, quick customer service and no fuss. It may not be the cleanest place, but Pie Hole stands its ground with its night-owl friendly hours and classic pie.

Just picked some pizza up to go on our way back to our hotel.easy to miss. Parking was hard. Pizza had large slices, thin crust but pretty good.

For $5 a slice, this place is bussin down. I would recommend anyone in the downtown salt lake area. Great crispy crust with good flavors on the menu! Quick service as well. Brex was the goat and helped us out.

If you want a late night snack def go here! Great pizza! Extra crunchy and thin slice with cool toppings. Service was fast! I love hole in the wall places, they feel homey! Great first pizza experience in Utah!

    Slice of Birddog, delish!

Convenient to downtown SLC food options, I came here to try a slice for lunch. At noon, the line was out the door. But don't let that discourage you, service is quick! I suppose thin crust pizza makes it faster to go through. Majority of their pizzas are ready and when you order by the slice, they heat it in their huge oven. You can also see an employee on the side making more pizzas to replenish the counter. The Birddog was tasty and big enough to hold me for lunch. The toppings were fresh and this wasn't salty. Glad I tried it!

Our family was in town for a church conference and we were going for a late dinner. Stumbled upon this place via Yelp and it was so perfect. The place is small but super cool and kinda reminded me of somewhere from San Francisco. The pizza was so good and reasonably priced. Definitely stop by here - they're super friendly and will welcome you with a cool place and delicious food.

Pie Hole is a slice of great vibes in Salt Lake City. Took off a star for grease (which is expected to a certain degree, but it was a lot even for me) and lack of parking, but overall taste and vibes were great. As far as I'm aware, there's really only street parking available, so it may get dicey. The restaurant is in a cool spot, a couple doors down from a bar and a tattoo shop and a Venezuelan place -- it didn't really even feel like Utah. I liked that we could get pizza by the slice. The service was quick on a Thursday night and the slices were a generous size. The pizza was already prepared and they threw it on a paper plate to reheat it, which was interesting. When we got our pizza, it was nice and hot, but quite greasy. Overall, a nice little weird oasis in Salt Lake City.

The Potato Bacon Slice seems to be very popoular

First time at Pie Hole did not disappoint! All the pizzas looked delicious so we asked a few regular types what they'd recommend and they all said the potato-bacon. Wow! I never thought I'd like potatoes on pizza, but we all enjoyed it. Also tried a veggie combo thing, pepperoni, and a side salad. All were tasty. Sadly, no adult beverages were available, but our crew enjoyed the cream soda and sarsaparilla. The team working there were all helpful and the line moved quickly since they just have to briefly reheat each slice in their giant oven. We tried to call several times to ask about gluten-free options (there aren't any), and they never answered the phone. The interior is fun and funky, but didn't feel exactly ... clean, so you might want to leave your mom home for this one. I'd definitely go again, especially if we need a downtown late-night snack.

visiting SLC and wanted a late bite after a jazz game. found this place via yelp and was impressed. I could tell this was the place to be with the constant line building up even late. had a simple pepperoni and cheese slice and it was just enjoyable, every bite. they have daily specialty pizza's that they post on their instagram.

This is the second time we have pizza from this place. I don't understand why the rating is this low when the pizzas are SO good! This time we ordered the Pretty pretty princess pizza and garlic cheese sticks. Both were very good! I love their thin crispy crust and the generous toppings. The restaurant inside is pretty small, and it reminds me of NY style pizza places. They can get super busy sometimes which may cause waiting time to be long, and they also don't have restrooms inside which can be a bit inconvenient.

    Vegetarian Pesto
    Lloyd C.

Stumbled across this place while in Downtown Salt Lake City. Parking is hard to find, and no lot available. This is a hole in the wall joint but served some pretty good pizza. Their style is thin crust. Vegetarian Pesto: spinach, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, & roasted garlic. Pesto makes this pizza super flavorful and healthy with all the vegetables! The dough was soft but chewy. The crust was crunchy like other reviewers had said.

Also, bottled water is free. They also have lots of Jarritos flavors. The menu is interesting even if you're like me and don't get the Pulp Fiction references. The crust is solidly above average, the toppings are high-quality, and I loved the hot honey. Better Call Saul was playing, there's an arcade game, and lots of stuff to look at on the walls. It's tiny (just a few tables) and appears to do a lot of takeout, and the parking is a little unclear- we parked at the restaurant next door. Would definitely return!

I found them right here on Yelp...the reviews were strong and the pictures of the pizza enticed me. I checked to make sure they offered Coke before making the trek and wasn't disappointed...cold and in a glass bottle! I went with the 12" Honey Bunny...pizza is t typically referred to as finger licking good, but when it's drizzled with honey that's the best words to describe the experience. Pulling up, I almost thought I was going into the wrong place and from the street I wasn't sure they had done in. Stepping inside, it's not the largest pizzeria, but it has everything you need...some seating, a soft drink refrigerator, a cash register and a few arcade games that are free to play. Don't get to into the games though because Victor's doesn't fool around, my pizza was delivered to my table in under 10 minutes along complimentary water bottles (as many as you like)! The pizza was awesome...you know it's great when the pepperoni gets those crisp edges...not many places can achieve that and damn is it good with the touch of honey drizzled over it. The cheese was perfect...not too little and not too much...like Goldilocks and the Three Bears, it was just right! They came out and checked on me a few times to make sure I had everything I needed...friendly people all the way around. Salt Lake must be filled with nice people because I met a few people while I was at Victor's, they were first timers too and were there on a strong recommendation from a friend. That's when you know the pizza is not just good, but legendary...word of mouth advertising is the most valuable! I'm glad I made it over to Victor's Pizza, it was incredible pizza with perfect crust! I love that while I was there I saw them give a pizza from a canceled order to a third party delivery driver...just great people and I like doing business with great people.

I loved it the last time I came and it sounded good again. Let's start off that today is Thursday night and it is packed in here. There's no parking, and there are only 3 regular spots and one handicapped spaces. The neighborhood must really hate this restaurant because the streets surrounding this restaurant are filled with cars. We ordered the Importance of Fried Cheese (mozzarella cheese). It was lightly coated and seasoned. However, we found that it needed a touch more salt. Then there's the sauce. The house marinara is to die for. The spices of onions garlic, oregano, and other spices blended well with the chunks of tomatoes turning this mixture into a heavenly dip. I ordered the Sausage King of Chicago with mushrooms. I love this crust! It is light and airy and maintains crunchy. It is so filling that I could only eat two pieces. More leftovers!!! My only complain is that they only put drops of that heavenly marinara sauce on each slice. Next time I will ask for them to put extra sauce on my pizza. My wife ordered a keto pepperoni and olive pizza. Her crust was made out of sausages. She loved it! We all had the pizzas we wanted and had yummy leftovers. Even though the parking sucks, I can't wait to go back!
