Pie Heaven Bakery has been on my list to try for a long time. I finally made it! There was not much parking beside the small building. But fortunately I found a spot. There was a small patio with two tables in the front. I checked out the boards inside to see what pies were still available. I stopped by at roughly 1 PM. I wanted the coconut pie but that was gone and the employee suggested the coconut custard as she said it was her favorite. So I ordered one slice of coconut custard and a small chicken pot pie. I jumped into the pie after dinner later that evening. Oh my the pie was fabulous! Creamy and sweet with tons of coconut. But not overly sweet. The crust was flaky and delish also. Highly recommend the coconut custard! I waited a few days to heat the chicken pot pie in the oven. She added an instruction sheet in my bag which was helpful. The sheet explained how to heat up the pie as well as how long both the savory and sweet pies last once you take them home. The chicken pot pie was yummy! It was filled with lots of vegetables and plenty of chicken. The inside wasn't runny like most store-bought chicken pot pies but the filling was good! I wish the crust had gotten a little crunchier on the top. But maybe that's because I didn't bake it for three days. You can purchase slices of savory or sweet pies or whole pies. They are no longer taking orders for Thanksgiving but suggested you come by and grab one and freeze it.

Such a cute place we had never been before but we will for sure be returning! The workers were all so sweet and such a joy to converse with and the pies are amazing, we got the blueberry pie and the Shepards pie and a slice of apple pie as well. Everything we got was amazing and delicious! Would definitely recommend to any one looking for a pie, sweet or savory!

I was in the area and really craving some coconut cream pie so my fiancée and I drove over to this little pie shop near Neptune beach. I wish I could say I had a great experience and that this was my new go-to pie shop, but that couldn't be further from the truth. The vibes here are rancid. Despite the uncomfortable experience (which I'll explain below), I would have still given two stars if I had liked the pie I purchased from here, but I did not. The woman running the shop told me that they were known for their pie crust and so I was hopeful, but ultimately disappointed in the flavor of the crust. The filling was fine. It tasted like your run-of-the-mill coconut cream pie, not unlike what you can purchase from a grocery store. The crust is genuinely where I had the biggest issue. It had an unpleasant aftertaste. I'm assuming that the shop uses either shortening or a cheap butter because it was all I could taste while eating my pie. And for the prices they charge here, $8 per slice and $14 for a small pie, was expecting more. To explain our uncomfortable experience here: My fiancée and I are a bit more on the alternative looking side and we were made very aware of it by the stares and weird looks from two of the three staff members that were working here. The only person who wasn't standoffish seemed to be the woman running the store. She said that she wasn't the owner, but that she had worked there for a long time and explained the shop's mission to me while my fiancé looked around. Though I'm disappointed in myself for not leaving right then, I was really craving some pie and as we were the only ones in the shop, I felt kind of obligated to get something. On our way out, I noticed the anti-abortion signs they had hanging in the shop and was again kicking myself for not leaving without purchase. In this day and age, you vote with your dollar; small and large businesses alike. It's obvious that my fiancée and I are not the target demographic for this shop, but perhaps someone reading this is. I just didn't appreciate how aware we were made of it during what will surely be our first and only visit here.

This is one of the best places in Mayport/Jacksonville to buy a pie, quiche or other. The small pies already made up are $7.00 and it goes up to quiche and pies up to $39.00. Why so much? Because they only bake with the finest and best ingredients. Pros-great baked items and staff. Cons:parking is small Order your holiday pies early!

What an adorable little shop! With the sweetest staff members! They had pies by the slice as well as full pies and little 6 inch pies! I was craving a chocolate cream one so I went with the 6 inch Triple chocolate cream pie so I could bring it home to share with my husband! It had a lot of chocolate cream flavor and I loved the pie crust! Perfect dessert! Can't wait to try more in the future!

I've driven past this tooo many time to have never stopped in. I'm so glad I finally did bc I was soooooo satisfied with all my treats! Ordered a slice of margarita key lime and triple berry. A small 6in lemon meringue and key lime and everything was fresh and flavorful. The slices are plenty big and their selections are amazing! Everyone working was professional, inviting, and friendly! Can't wait to come and try more!! Thank you for a first great experience!

When first…read morediscovering Sweet 'n' Flour online I was in awe of the natural but gorgeous looks of their cakes. We wanted to stay away from fondant cakes and focus on having multiple organic cakes with out-of-this-world flavors instead. And that is EXACTLY what we found with Sweet 'n' Flour. Marisa, the owner, held a tasting with us at a local coffee shop. Marisa's attitude was infectious from the get-go and she was able to understand the style of cake we were looking for. She prepared four wedding cake flavors for us to taste. We shared with her our wedding cake topper that we had selected and she sketched out our main cake with the toppers right there and then. Marisa was willing to change her Guinness Chocolate Stout to incorporate another one of our favorite stouts. This was a huge win, because my wife and I are huge craft beer fans! Also, we were delighted she provided the tasting in the form of cupcakes. This gave us the opportunity to try the flavors again at home and share them with family members for their feedback. For our big day we selected three cakes (Orange Blossom, Left Hand Milk Stout Chocolate, and Banana Cream) and three additional desserts (Lavender Shortbread Cookies, Gluten Free Brownies, and Berry Tartlets.) We added on the styling package which included additional time from Marisa to decorate the dessert table, cake stands, trays, and natural elements. The overall look of the dessert table was STUNNING! The delicious desserts were a hit at our wedding and people are still raving about them now, months later. Some of the repeatedly mentioned favorites were the Blood Orange Blossom Cake, Chocolate Stout Cake, and the Lavender Shortbread Cookies. Some of our friends even joked (or maybe they were serious) that they would have fought each other for the last Lavender Cookie. We were overjoyed to have left over cake and a to-go box filled with the desserts for after. I have to admit that it was my mission to try to eat wedding cake for every meal possible.

It might be even better if they added a few raisins to it. We'll be back for this item periodically. We also tried a mango float ($6). It was good, and had more whipped cream in it than the one I'm used to, but I've probably had slightly better examples. For $6, it's not a great value: smaller than the cinnamon roll and not as good. I might get it again, but probably not at that price. This remains one of my favorite bakeries in town, and we'll be back periodically. Update: We tried another cinnamon roll. This time we thought it was fantastic, the best thing I've eaten in a long time. 25 seconds microwaved again. We'll have to get one periodically.
