Yelp reviews are all over the place and I wanted to come in for a quick lunch to see for myself. I called ahead and pie was coming out of the oven after a 6 minute drive. So, it's quick. I got the 5 star pie and gotta say it was absolutely fine. Checking out, the young man working told me it's only 6 bucks on Monday if I have the app. He saw I started to download it and gave me that price, so the service was great. Hot fresh pie came out, it's a thinner type of pie, crunchy crust, a little flop when you grab slices, and it could have been cut better. Overall it was tasty, filled me up and come on, 6 bucks? That's an amazing deal. If I had paid the 13-14 bucks I would have ranked it 3 stars. But what do you expect? A 6 minute pizza, I'd take this over a HotnReady any day of the week! My order didn't use the entire balance but they said they didn't give back change or even a new card with the balance. Who pockets this money? Salad bar was decrepit and nearly empty. No napkins in any dispenser. Had to ask for plates. No new pizzas added to the buffet while we were there. The empty napkin holders weirdly advertised itself inside as Pizza Inn with Pepsi, but it's Pie Five and Coke. I want people in our community to have jobs but this place was awful. We walked in around 1pm on a Wednesday and were not greeted at all. The two workers were helping a customer so no biggie. We checked the menu and got in line. The workers seemed to be moving at a snails pace. I noticed the trash bin outside on the patio was overflowing when we walked up, the inside was no different. The large bin from the kitchen was wheeled out for customers to use since all bins were overflowing with trash. The counters and tables looked they hadn't been wiped down in several days. I've came to Pie Five for a few years and it's went downhill. First off, this place used to be packed at lunch but there wasn't anybody there at prime lunch so I was skeptical at first. Well, now I see why. I asked the guy making my pizza what kind of cheese it was and he said "I'm not sure". He asked someone else and they didn't even know. (It was Feta). I get my pizza and you can see by pictures it wasn't much of a "pizza". I couldn't eat it like a pizza because it was too flimsy. The center of the pizza was non existent. I'm not sure if it's how it was rolled out or undercooked but it wouldn't hold up and often times come off when I picked it up. So I had a $11 meal of just topping and no pizza dough. If you're looking for good toppings for lunch then I guess come here, but if you're looking for an actual pizza save yourself money and go to literally ANY other pizza joint around. read more

Placed an online order for pickup. My coworker goes to pick it up, the pizza was ok should have been cooked longer but the salad was inedible! It was visibly wilted and old, turning colors, and it did not have any meat on it which an Italian salad should include chicken and pepperoni. I understand things can get busy, but I was disappointed with the lack of communication during my recent visit. My order wasn't completed when I arrived because a topping was unavailable, and rather than calling me to ask about a substitution, they just waited. There were 5-6 employees on shift and the store wasn't busy, so I was surprised by the delay. I was patient, but I watched several people walk in, get their food, and leave while I was still waiting. I eventually had to speak up, only to find my order had been sitting at the register. No one called my name, and it was ignored until I asked. The staff did apologize, which I appreciated, but overall, it felt like there was little sense of urgency. Maybe its different down south, but as someone who grew up in the North, I've noticed this laid-back service approach is pretty common here in Arkansas. I received me and over 30 minutes my husband still hadn't received his. He finally went to the counter and asked for a refund which was a hassle. I had to work late so my daughter and I came up here for a late dinner. They sign and online says they close at 10pm. We stay nearby so we come here occasionally. However, tonight we pull up and the lights are dim (still on), the sign is on, the door is unlocked, and someone is visibly on the inside. We walk in, he sees us, continues working with no greeting. As we examine the menu, a minute later, the guy mumbles to me that they're closed. I reply the that sign and online both show 10pm. It is currently 9:30pm and someone just walked in before me. I also see someone, possibly a manger, in the back watching. The guy tells me that "it was slow so he shut it down early. 30 minutes." I said well, why didn't you lock the door? He replied he was waiting on an Uber eats pickup. As we walked towards the door, my daughter disappointed and starving, the other man walks out the back and stands beside the first guy. Neither one of them walked up and talked to me. They barely even acknowledged me or made eye contact. They just continued standing afar and working. I had the opportunity to visit this location and meet the owners whole attending their ribbon cutting with the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce. It's located right next to the Outlets of Little Rock, in a very good location. The concept behind Pie Five is awesome. You can come in and choose one of their pizza selections or you can make your own. You choose your crust, sauce and toppings and from the time you enter, to the time you sir down, you should have a pizza in 5 minutes, hence the name, Pie Five. All of the pizzas ate 10 inches in size. It's a great family friendly environment, good for groups and oh, great pizza. We got to try several different choices at the ribbon cutting, which was wonderful. Great and friendly staff. They also have a couple of other locations. Check their website for one near you. I went recently with wife and kids. It was the second time I've been. I have one child with Autism and finding a place that he will eat is a rare thing indeed. We went and it was rather busy. The woman who appeared to be the manager was asking people what crust they wanted. We ordered quickly and the kids enjoyed being able to watch it being made. We got the deserts and shared them. They also have the multi drink dispenser and all kids love that. I read some bad reviews of this place and wanted to ensure that a very good experience was told. This was during the Christmas holidays and it was extremely busy. The manager (just so if she reads this, she was a black lady) did an incredible job. She appeared that she had like 15 arms and was ordering staff around and getting everything done. I was very happy and as I said earlier it's almost impossible to find a suitable place for my son and we will be back again. For the owners (if you happen to see this) know that your employees and most especially your manager did a great job and I was most impressed with the service. Excellent job! read more

The management here has favorites that they cater to while we waited 20 minutes before they even acknowledged us, had a very unpleasant attitude while tending to us, continued to talk to another customer in the middle of taking our order and continued to be be inattentive. The manager pointed us to go around and she is a very rude nasty woman. My pizza was wrong and the manager tried to argue with me saying that I ordered something I didn't and raised her voice with an attitude at me. We went her because my Wife had been here and she had a wonderful experience. Only reason I'm not giving this a 1 Star is because the pie was good and my wife's previous experience! Now the bad, we came at 7:30 at night and after we ordered our 4 pizzas we asked for bread sticks and were told" it's almost 8 and we haven't started any of our closing procedures"! I've been to Pie Five in Benton before and Blaze in Little Rock. Compared to my first experience this recent one was less enjoyable. They were pretty heavy-handed with the cheese, using two of their measuring cups. Some people love cheesy pizza, but it felt a little overwhelming. The toppings were ok, but certainly didn't appear to be as fresh as Blaze. I ordered the pizza+dessert+drink combo for $10, which seemed like a fair deal. The cookie tasted store bought and cold. I figured a "slice" of the cookie would have been warm or at least less crusty. The staff was very nice, except for the manager. She berated her employees to no end. She kept laying into one of her female employees telling her to "interact more with the customers" and "you're not here to look pretty" as well as "are you kidding me, can you do anything right at all?" To my knowledge the employee was very pleasant and accommodating and this manager was overly harsh with everyone there -- including customers. She asked if I wanted "magic dust" on my pizza. I'm sorry, but I'm going ask for clarification before some kind of mystical dust is sprinkled on my pizza. She would groan and dismissively explain what it was. She asked what kind of crust I had for my pizza and I responded with "I believe it was the classic pan." She responded with "well, I can't tell you what you got so which one was it?"
