I walked into this store the other day requesting a glass replacement of a picture of my late uncle. They asked I come back in about an hour. I noticed they were helping another customer who was displaying military service memorabilia incased in one of those deep frames. You can tell they perform quality work from the layout of the store. It reminded me of what I could do for more late mother who was a TWA flight attendant from the late 60's through early 2001. She has a bunch of TWA memorabilia including photos and pins that I could display in a similar frame. I came back to pick up the picture after a few hours. One of the owners handed it back to me with a smile. "No charge" he said. What a kind and thoughtful gesture! Marie and Ray have assisted me in selecting the perfect frames for my grandmothers artwork. These heirlooms will be passed down to future generations, so preserving and presenting Mati's work was my foremost concern. Picture Perfect is a dream come true! I am so glad I checked Yelp, and found this place. I went to three other custom framing shops in town first (only because Picture Perfect was closed on the day I was shopping), looking for a reasonable quote to get my large Thomas Kinkade print framed. I left every other place feeling frustrated and discouraged, after being bombarded with questions and options (in a bad way), and essentially told that it was impossible to do it within my budget. Thankfully, I didn't give up hope, and went to Picture Perfect. I immediately felt SO much better! Ray and Marie were so tremendously helpful. They asked only as many questions as they needed to get an idea of what I wanted, and then just gave me a few great suggestions to choose from. They clearly have a great eye for design, and know what will and won't work to make your piece look its best. Marie knew exactly what I had been thinking, and didn't steer me toward some of the (in my opinion) tacky looking options that other places had suggested. They even suggested I bring home the frame and mat samples, so that I could see them up against my wall colors and my lighting to make sure I would be happy with my choice. I was blown away at their service! Most importantly, Ray and Marie were the only people I talked to that seemed to really want to work with me on price and get me what I wanted. These are business owners that provide TRUE customer service, knowing that a happy customer is worth the effort. They're the kind of people that you feel good about giving your money to. Based on 2 previous reviews, I took 2 pictures in. I wanted non-glare glass for each. They patiently showed me 3 options for glass -- traditional, non-glare and museum. I chose museum (you honestly can't see the glass, just the beauty of each picture). I wasn't in a rush, but I got a call the next day that they were done. Not only did they replace the glass, but also put a nice backing, then solid wire hangers on each-- and they carefully relocated the artist's labeling to the backing. What a perfect professional job. My two finished pieces are perfect! Are they cheap? Nope! Remember, you get what you pay for. Will I go back again? Absolutely! read more

I was trying to keep the framing job within a bare-bones budget and was unable to get what I was looking for down here in the S.F. Bay Area. There's been a recent decline in picture framers in North Lake Tahoe with the loss of a major pro shop in Incline Village. I did my research and found Picture Perfect in South Reno at their new gallery. They did a great job on a fairly expensive piece (for me) I recently bought. They have a large selection of framing materials and they picked up quickly that I wanted the piece done commensurate with the actual value of the piece, not on the cheap. A measure of their success.....don't expect to pick your new frame up tomorrow. But the wait will be worth it. So if you are living in North Lake Tahoe and are looking for a very professional framer for that important piece, give Picture Perfect a try...it's only about 30 minutes from Incline. read more
