The shuttle service is super convenient (now Monday to Friday), especially when you factor in the cost of taking the ferry to Bowen Island to drop your pup off. We picked out dog up once and it ended up costing more than the shuttle. Here's the kicker... it's comparably priced to boarding your dog in the city. I called and the ranch was closed on Friday night but Cam returned my call and happily said he would take our dog the next day. From that moment forward I was greeted with friendly, professional service. When we arrived our 10 month old puppy happily followed Cam behind the gate which showed us she felt safe there and trusted Cam. The facility looked amazing from what we could see and we felt very confident that this was a dog haven! At the end of the day we were rushed to get back to the ranch and noticed there was a Dog Ranch van that said shuttle services on it and I thought perhaps I could request a shuttle to the ferry for our puppy and Cam was amazing again and said "No problem I'm on my way there already" Our puppy was so relaxed and content when he dropped her off. They do their best to drop off a dry and clean dog, but for a long-haired collie in North Vancouver that's not an easy task. From the intial intake with Ashley and run-in's with a couple of their walkers Jack and Kelsey, it's clear that everyone on the team loves your dog like their own, is professional and are genuinely very sweet people. We hadn't realized it but our dog had Kennel cough, which meant he couldn't go on the scheduled walk as its very contagious, but he was let into to the yard for business etc. before being returned inside. I am very pleased with their protocols for this situation and similarly how they groups dogs for abilities and behavior. If you're in need of a team of caring, professional dog walkers, where you don't have to worry about what's happening in the afternoon, I would whole heartedly recommend them.

My poor girl has puncture wounds on her face, ear, and front leg. She was bleeding and limping in agony when I saw her at the vet. The video footage clearly showed that my dog was walking normally and the attacking dog just ran over and attacked her from the back FOR NO REASON. However, Adventure Den has declined my request for obtaining the video footage. I will not stand for this kind of behavior. I have reported this incident to the city and will be pressing charges if necessary. It's absolutely unconscionable how dogs with such violent tendencies are allowed to pass the so-called temperament assessment in the first place. According to the staff member there, the attacking dog is not a perfect dog and has ALREADY SHOWN REACTIVITY in the past but never physically hurt another dog (yet). It appears that they are waiting for something like this to happen before banning the dog, which is absurd and unacceptable. Precautionary steps should have been taken long ago, and I'm deeply disappointed by their unprofessionalism. The staff-to-dog ratio in the video was also concerning: one staff member was overseeing 10-20 dogs when the incident happened. This is absolutely outrageous; a facility like this should NEVER be understaffed in any given moment. If you know you'll have fewer people working, you take in fewer dogs - it's that simple. This incident very much could've been avoided if the staff member was given a smaller group of dogs in which they could monitor the behaviors closely. If the facility continues with this ratio and un-thorough assessment, I fear that another dog will be seriously injured soon. On the bright side, after the incident happened, the staff member informed me immediately over the phone and took my dog to the vet very quickly. The other dog is now banned permanently, and the owner has offered to cover our medical bills. Thank you for making this experience less bad. But it doesn't change the fact that my dog is injured both physically and mentally, and it doesn't make up for the trauma she has experienced. I urge you not to take your dogs to this facility unless you are okay with putting them in danger. Wishing all the pups to stay safe and healthy.

Rather than going to my sister (who she knows and sees almost every day), Bella ran back to the Jet Pet staff because she didn't want to leave! I'm disappointed to post this. We had emailed this business…read moreseeking daycare and training support for our two dogs. I explained issues with recall and some other issues. The owner replied that they do basic recall, leash skills, focus and more, and that they could accept our dogs. We booked them in. On the first day we got an email about how the dogs had done and a video of them at the beach. They were wet and tired at the end of the day. That was the only time they went into the water - all other days they stayed on leash while other dogs went into the water. The owner told us that young adult dog training was starting one weekend and that we could book to join it for around $250. We decided to go ahead and booked the young adult dogs training through their website. We got no response to our booking so asked staff about the training and never ever got a response. One day after returning home one dog took a pee on the stairs of our building. Either she hasn't been out for a toilet break or shewas very anxious. The last straw was seeing one of our dogs restrained with a harness at the front and one at the back on the beach walk. At home at the end of the day she was not herself and withdrawn and seemed upset. When we raised concerns we were met with defensiveness and escalating anger over email. The owner criticised our dogs lack of recall and over excitement. Our dogs do need some more training which is what we told them about and they assured us they would help with. It's also why we went to Noelles in the first place and it's why we booked the young adult training. Noelles provided no training, despite saying that they would, and didn't respond even we tried to book it. We paid for 5 daycare days for each dog and used four and have received no contact about getting money back.

I worked here for a few months semi- recently. As someone who worked there, I can confidently say…read morethat they do not take as good care of the dogs as they say. The owner is rude to her employees, and they use methods such as shaking change in metal jars directly in the dog's ears until they are scared of the workers as a way to make them stop barking. They will also yell very, very harshly at them almost constantly. The reason why I don't work there is because I refused to take part in that. They will also put up to 25 dogs of all sizes and temperaments in one van for the daily beach walk, which exceeds the legal limit and results in the dogs getting in fights with each other. Again, as someone who worked there, please do not leave your beloved animal there. Your dog will be sad all day and will not get enough attention nor be treated appropriately. At first glance, it seems like a great environment, hence why I worked there. But your dog will only be let out once, and in the group photos they send, it's likely your dog won't even be in the picture. They use very outdated training methods, and it was incredibly hard for me to work there. Leaving your dog there is the equivalent of leaving your dog at an animal shelter.

I have taken him to daycare, boarding, daycare and train, Group Classes and Private classes and don't have a single complaint about any of my experiences. Good Dog Staff are very patient and kind and don't hesitate to go the extra mile when you have questions or concerns. I love that there are a variety of trainers with different approaches but they are all still very patient and positive. It's easy to get frustrated sometimes when training a high strung puppy with a short attention span but I never saw them lose their patience with either of us and they never minded staying a little bit late to address any concerns or questions I had :) I have done the Puppy and Adolescent classes so far and plan on taking them all eventually. I feel that the price is very reasonable considering the quality of training you receive. (High Quality IMO!) If I could do a private lesson every week, I would and it would be worth it! Ace and I have gained so much from the GD trainers and I can't thank them enough. During Daycare and train i received daily 'report cards' on Ace's progress and I always enjoy seeing the daily pictures that are posted on Facebook of all the dogs playing and enjoying each others company. I know that all of the staff is knowledgeable on pack interaction and that Ace is monitored to ensure he is playing appropriately (He sometimes mounts other dogs). They don't ignore problem behavior and they inform me of any concerns upon pick up each day. Last time he went for boarding they noticed he had a puncture on his face (I believe from one of my other dogs) and they went ahead and cleaned it and applied ointment which I SO appreciated. They also sent me an email to make sure I was aware (I had been but it had opened up during play and had been bleeding again) which I know not everyone would do!
