At 5pm on a Wednesday, there was only one car ahead of me. After I arrived, another car came. They remembered I had arrived first, and they got me in first. As I was in a rush, them keeping the right order was important to me. The smog check took about 5 minutes with lots of clean chairs to sit and wait. They take cash and credit card. Smog test was quick and technician was informative about the process. Vehicle passed and I was charged appropriately. Unfortunately unknown the me, he left the hood of my vehicle opened and when I pulled onto pico and sped up to get into traffic my hood FLEW up and got stuck nearly causing an accident. I was unable to then put it down because the pressure bent the hinges back and I had to take it to my mechanic to get repaired. read more

This place is located inside the same lot as the Car Wash. Enter the Car Wash lot and you will see it on the right side. I called beforehand and he did not change the price when I showed up. Many smog check places give you an excuse and change the price when you show up.... Examples I have heard in the past were: "you drive a suv/truck we need to charge extra, you need a STAR smog check we need to charge extra, etc." Cheapest ($40 as of 5/2021) and fastest smog check in town.
