We cannot imagine a world in which we could have put on such a spectacular, memorable, thoughtful wedding without the Glitzzy team. Our wedding week was truly a whirlwind: multiple ceremonies, receptions, Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet. Cheryl and her team coordinated seamlessly between all the vendors - she is truly an expert in this. We never had to worry about something going wrong. What stood out most was how personal it all felt. Cheryl embraced every detail we wanted to include, no matter how specific or sentimental, from our signature cocktails to giving us feedback on what designs we chose. She made the wedding feel grand and spectacular while still feeling intimate and personal. She made sure our vision came through in every corner of the event without ever making us feel like we had to manage the details ourselves. Cheryl kept us calm, kept everyone on schedule, and made sure the day itself felt joyful and easy for us instead of stressful. If you're looking for a planner who will treat your wedding like it's her own, look no further than Cheryl and the Glitzzy Events team. We are endlessly grateful to her for giving us the wedding of our dreams.

Toured this place in 2025 and was somewhat disturbed by the spray foam insulation ceilings, but…read moredecided to sign on anyway as the rest of the venue was so lovely. We were assured in writing that the ceilings would be taken care of by the day of my wedding. I asked for updates all year and was told every time "they're not done yet, but don't worry, it will get done by your wedding day," Spoiler: that did not happen Ceilings aside, there were good and bad things about this experience. On the day of the rehearsal, my foot fell through a rotten plank of wood and they immediately remedied that which was amazing. Our advisor was very kind and helpful throughout the experience and answered our endless questions. The day of the wedding, however, our advisor was not scheduled to be working, so he was not there and the only staff who were there had not met us before and, due to a language barrier, had a very tough time communicating our needs. Several things went wrong the day-of like no electricity in the ceremony space, tables and chairs incorrectly laid out (several guests had nowhere to sit), and those ceilings were still unfinished (also wasps live in the insulation and attacked one of my bridesmaids). We brought up these concerns to our advisor and never received a response. Like, for weeks. We followed up. Nothing. Then, we get a check in the mail which IMO was not for enough money, but still no communication. It's like the customer service relationship immediately ends on the day of the wedding. Just bizarre. If they ever fix these ceilings, I'd say book it and ensure that your advisor will be working the day of your wedding.

I don't think it's acceptable to not have actual ceilings and call yourself a wedding venue. I don't know why they are dragging their feet on finishing the ceilings, but it's a real drawback and I'd be willing to bet it's the reason some people don't sign on with them (myself, for one).

I was…read morenervous planning this surprise party all the way from another state, but Sophie was fabulous to work with and I could not have done it without her. As a communication instructor, communication was the biggest priority for me and Sophie was a complete pro. Communication from start to finish was prompt and excellent! Sophie even brought up details that I hadn't even thought about. Her patience, kindness, and upbeat attitude made planning the party a breeze! For the party, MVTPC provided the catering, service, and decor--and there was loads of decor! From the gorgeous vintage teacups to amazing vintage bronze unicorn statute, my sister's house was transformed into a magical 1920's Gatsby mansion. I have to mention the food, which drew rave reviews from all party guests. We had french macaroons (in Lavender, Rose, and Pistachio flavors), croissants, quiche, chocolate mousse cups, and petit fours (champagne strawberry). The petit fours are not to be missed! We also had a punch station that featured an ice ring filled with fruit and flowers (side note: MVTPC does not supply alcohol, but will serve it for you. It was extremely easy and actually more cost efficient for us to buy our own booze anyway). Finally, I have nothing but the highest praise for the MVTPC staff. The hosts/hostesses were polite, prompt, friendly, and engaging. Setup and clean up were quick and efficient and didn't interrupt the party festivities at all! Overall, it was an awesome, successful party. Don't hesitate to contact Sophie--you'll be glad you did!

There was much more food, as well, all of which were delectable! Her staff at my party, Dylan, Crystal, and Anna, made the entire event special! They cleaned, made sure food was replenished, and, most importantly, paid close attention to my guests needs!
