I am a Pick n Save regular so I have been to numerous locations. This location is dirty, unorganized, and is never properly staffed. I have been there on a number of occasions when there are lines extremely long and only 3 people checking out. It takes forever to get out. Also the store is so unorganized! It's ridiculous! You could walk around there forever and never find the thing you need! I tried to purchase some fruit and told the staff some of the grapes were molding. The guy looked at me like I yelled at him and say "okay." I never saw them come and replace it. Yuck! They do have a redbox..... read more

Pro: Location, large liquor dept Cons: Horrid customer service, very sketchy crowd, overpriced. I've had a cashier literally throw my groceries at me before and bark responses at me as if I was interrupting her day. So incredibly rude. read more

Please save you're gas. This is the place that needs a new manager for real. I have been going here last couple of times and what a nasty place to shop. The produce is spoiled and absolutely disgusting to look at. Very poor management. They should close this Place. Yuck!! read more

I agree with Ellie B and Jay S. The employees at this store are not happy to be there, and they pass this attitude on to the customers. While the location is conveniently close to home, I rarely shop there anymore, preferring to make the drive to Trader Joe's and Woodman's. I have been coming here for their pharmacy though, but three times in a row I stopped in for a refill, they did not have my medication in stock. Totally lame. read more

I live by the Pick and Save in Shorewood, but I go out of my way to go this store because the store, is much, much bigger, and there's a better selection. There are much cheaper than the Shorewood location. If you live in the East side go out of your way and go to this location. The store also sells re-useable bags, but as a bonus they give you a 5-cent credit for each re-useable bag you bring/use in the checkout line. Depending on how many bags you use, the bags can pay for themselves within a year. Win-win You can recycle your plastic bags and paper bags. They have a liqour department. read more

This would not be my first choice in grocery stores, but considering it is only a couple blocks away from my house, I do shop here often. As others have mentioned there can be really long check out lines if you go during the busy hours (weekday evenings, weekend afternoons), but then again all grocery stores are busy during those times. I usually try to go later at night to avoid that chaos. The produce section is pretty good, not amazing. Their meat and seafood section is really lacking, that is one thing I usually do not buy here. Otherwise I have found almost everything I needed for a recipe here (except that one time I needed miso paste!) The liquor store is pretty well stocked and usually has some good sales. The associates I have encountered are friendly, however usually do not know where anything is. All in all a good store to do most of your basic grocery shopping. read more

Grocery store down the street, I use this store quite alot. It has a liquor store built in and a very nice wine selection. Definitely sign up for a roundys card and you can save yourself some money on groceries and both booze! read more

This is the worst Pick N Save out of the many that I have been to. Unfortunately it is the closest one to me so I will continue to shop here. Shopping here is always a nightmare tho. The Staff is so unbelievably rude. You would think with a college dorm directly across the street it would not be to difficult to find some decent employees. I have never had a shopping experience here that did not involve me waiting in a long line. read more

I really do love going to the grocery! Immediately I start thinking of food, then dishes and from there my senses go crazy. Well not really in this store. The staff really doesn't bother me. Unfriendly they may seem, but if you take the effort and say hi and ask how are they doing they brighten up every time. Ahhh the produce is what's gets me. Is ok, but that's just it it's ok. Most of the times I end up going to Wholefoods for produce and get everything else here. But even at this pick n save I can't. And I find that very lame! read more

Produce section is always lacking. Seem to always have expired items on the selves - specifically dairy products which in my opinion is pretty disgusting. Have stood at the service counter for over 10 minutes with employees just walking by me without asking if I need help. Always seem to be out of what I need. Only good thing I have to say about this Pick N Save is Jane the cashier. She's always friendly and willing to help you save a little money with coupons. Always seems to have a great attitude. I will sometimes wait an extra few minutes in line just to go in her lane because of her great customer service. read more

It's the only one we use, due to extreme proximity. Never had a problem, and today after spending like an hour searching there AND (mostly) Walmart for my gf's lost phone, they saved the day. I hardly use my yelp at all, let alone for grocery stores, but figured I'd do something in return. Customer service tried their best when I called and nobody had found it yet, and kept it safe once somebody had turned it in. Crisis: Averted. read more

What they need to realize is they are in a prime spot and need to step up their game!! I do seem improvement, they are a busy store, they need good managent!!! Now that I live closeby again, I shop here. It is much better than in the past. The grocerires are priced either too high or on sale. The management is better, the clerks are more polite so I am hoping this improves. read more

I've been using this location as my primary grocery store since I moved to the east side last summer. When it comes to grocery stores, I'm really not all that picky. However, I find shopping here unpleasant. The vast majority of employees here are rude, and the nice ones don't seem to last very long. I get it--it's only a grocery store. But if I'm handing over my money for their (at times) heavily overpriced items, why am I made to feel like they are doing me a favor? I never come here if I don't have a decent amount of time because check out lines are usually very long. I am most disappointed in their produce section. I've had really bad luck with produce going bad within a day or two of purchasing it, and sometimes it just seems to be very poor quality. I WILL say that they have a decent deli, floral dept, and liquor selection. I don't think I'm going to continue doing the bulk of my grocery shopping here. read more

I shop here because of its proximity to my house, but every time I go I find myself regretting not taking advantage of other options (metro on van Buren or the other pick n save near east towne) This place never has enough cashiers open and lines are generally absurdly long--like people who are checking out are literally standing in grocery aisles. A lot of people are forced to use self-checkout, which I personally do not enjoy. It takes longer and it's annoying having to deal with the machine rather than a human person. I've picked up moldy food accidentally without realizing it until checkout. Things are sometimes open and dirty. Inventory is inconsistent. I've twice encountered employees that remind me of my experience working in public schools--young cashiers LOUDLY discussing inappropriate things in front of costumers. Makes me feel like I don't do my job well enough because these kids are going into the real world thinking their uncouth behavior is okay :( I really don't like the layout of the store. I find myself having to go in a very weird path to get to all of my necessary items. There's a lot of grocery stores in this area. This one won't be my first choice any more until it fixes all of its issues. read more

There was an employee in the aisle who who was very helpful and because of him I'll go ahead and give this store two stars! Other than that an older Caucasian lady cashier with glasses and a ponytail let me sit in her line for two whole min. then decided to put her closed sign up just as I had already began to unload my cart!! Just plain rude without a warning or anything... So I move to the young lady cashier Alexis' line to unload. I shop here and the East pointe location weekly, because they are convenient & Alexis is the worst I've encountered at this Pick N Save! She huffed and puffed the whole time as she rang up every item. I understand people have bad days, but there is a time and a place for it. Work is not the place. You leave that b.s at the door and do your job. As I said thank you, she rolled her eyes. At that point she doesn't even deserve a job. You guys should hire people willing to work with exceptional customer service. I never expected this out of Pick N Save! I can officially say I've been to better. Haven't even had a problem like this at Midtown. I will not be giving this location any business or acknowledgement again! read more
