Says they price match paper quotes…read more So I bring in a paper quote and they don't price match it. Literally spoke to them 15 minutes prior getting them to confirm they would take the paper quote from a competitor 5 mins away if I came there instead - drove here with a tire out of air just for them to straight lie on the phone to me and then try to say it needs to be $100 more than the price matched quote that I have from a normal tire shop right down the road . I even got a second quote from Dimmitt on the phone incase they wanted a second one that was within $20 of the paper quote I had in my hand - but magically they all of a sudden can only price match $100 over the quote I had - that isn't price matching and that's not what you told me on the phone. Dishonest business and poor way to treat a new customer that moved nearby and would of come repetitively - or at least you could of been honest and saved both of our time and I wouldn't of brought a quote after being told you'd price match it

Within an hour of my drive, my tire pressure warning light came on, which was quite concerning. Upon arriving at my sister's home, she highly recommended Mavis Tire in Hudson due to their excellent service and knowledgeable staff. She has always had positive experiences with this location. I made an appointment for the Friday after Christmas and was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the location - you could eat off the floor; it was that spotless! Perry, the manager, was extremely knowledgeable, particularly with the model of my vehicle. He quickly identified that the issue with my tire pressure light was likely due to a tire sensor, and he was right. Fortunately, they had the part in stock and were able to replace it while I waited. While waiting, a very nice mechanic informed Perry that my vehicle was a quart low on oil. This came as a shock because I had just taken my vehicle to a Mavis location in South Florida the day before arriving in Hudson, and they should have informed me of this, so I'm very glad that the Hudson Mavis informed me. By the time I left Mavis in Hudson, my vehicle had been repaired and even test driven, which was very impressive. In addition to Perry, all of the employees at the Hudson location were incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. As a single woman in my 60s, it was very comforting to know that my vehicle was in the hands of such capable and caring people. I highly recommend Mavis Tire located at 12229 Little Rd., Hudson, FL. There was plenty of Radiator fluid in the reserve, so I thought it was low on oil. I put 3 quarts in. After they inspect the car, they said it was a crack hose that the radiator fluid was not getting into the radiator. They made the proper repairs and I told them to make sure they empty 3 quarts of oil before I pick up the car. They ensure me it was done!! Literally a month later oil got into cylinder three and the car had half power and all kinds of light came on , check engine light, stability light, traction control light. I brought the car back to them, told them that the oil was still in the engine and explain all the issues I just had because of it. Barry called me and explained all the issues and all the repairs that needed to be done including the water pump and he said that the oil level was fine. A coincidence all this happened a month later!! Barry also said that he didn't wanna work on the car and just put a Band-Aid on it And he wouldn't touch it unless I did all the repairs which was a total of $2400.!! When I brought the car back the manager, Mark, Barry, and Larry were all there and not one could make eye contact with me! Very unprofessional and signs of guilt all over their face!! I took it to the dealership where we bought the car, they fixed the problem and said to much oil when Barry just said oil was fine!! Repairs were done at the dealership with a couple other things that were not on Barry's estimate and the grand total was around $1100.. Seriously what is wrong with dishonest businesses and these particular mechanics!! Worst customer service by Barry and Mark!! I do have both estimates if anyone needs me to provide that! STAY AWAY!! Suncoast was recommended to us by another tire shop but they were booked up for a week and a half. They VERY hesitantly recommended a discount tire shop saying he wouldn't usually recommend this particular place but he knew they'd be available. While I was on the phone with this other company, I saw an incoming call coming in so I called it back and it was the same guy from Suncoast stating he couldn't, in good conscience, send me to this other place and told me to bring it over. I thought that was so nice. I've never had that happen before so thank you, Suncoast, for being one of the good ones.
