Luckily we called Powell HVAC and they were able to squeeze us in on a already busy schedule within 2 hours of the phone call! This is the second time we've used this company and both times I was quite impressed with their friendliness, knowledge, and being not pushy at all. They fixed the unit, gave the hubby some advice, and charged a very fair price. Next time we have an HVAC issue we know who to call again!!

After multiple days of a no show for the first visit, they finally came but didn't have enough Freon to even adequately finish that task. Was told they would come back in a couple days to finish the Freon refill and replace the part. No one has come back in over 3 weeks. Multiple "no shows" with no notification. Terrible communication. Rarely answer their phone and voicemail isn't set up. I repeat: Run to another company. If your warranty company chooses them for you, request a different contractor.

Ok, fine. They get here around 6:30 and found the contactor needed replacing. They did not have one with them. Tech said someone would contact me the next day to set up an appointment to install a contactor. Tuesday came and went, left two voicemails, no call back. Wednesday morning and early afternoon came and went, left two voicemails, again, no call back. Called the home warranty company, who also tried to contact them, no answer. Ended up canceling the work order and found a company that could come out same day and fix our AC! The techs that came to the house were polite, but some chemical stuff was left at my house accidentally that made me feel a little concerned beings I have a young child as well as dogs, but the tech was kind when he called and worked it out to pick it up right away. The communication for 99% of the experience was absolutely terrible and super frustrating. I even left voicemails that said "I have family in town, just let me know when you think you can come out so we can plan their visit and tours around it". Still no call backs with any updates or even confirmation they ordered parts. I would not recommend this company. There are far better companies (the one that I found to come out same day and fix this is even also authorized by my home warranty and was so much better with the communication and safety!) He was at my home by 8:30 AM. We have a lot of dogs which he wasn't scared of. He checked the system outside and knew immediately what was wrong. Then he checked the system in the attic. He explained what was going on as well as the solution. He did not make it feel like he was rushing through anything. The inspection was free and we will definitely have him come back to replace the Unit.

They find the best solutions but budget friendly for you. In November hired them to replace my heat pump. Everything but very well but we had a heat wave come in and my house was not cooling like it should so they came back out check the heat pump it was fine but they suspected that it was something going on with the duct work. They did not replace the ductwork when they put the heat pump in because I had just bought the house and the people that was selling the home replace that. They took a look and the workmanship for the duct work was very poor and the air return was not the right size so I had to have that replaced. If you have any HVAC issues I would highly highly recommend calling them if they're in your area. Also all of the technicians that came out were very nice professional.

So we have used them for at least 13 years. When I went to pay the bill which ,was under 300 dollars, I paid 200 more for the next time they had to come out to fix something. The lady said it would be ok to do. So about a month ago the fan broke again, over 500 dollars to replace the fan. We went to paid the bill today. I asked about the 200 dollars that I paid extra 3 years ago. After about 20 minutes of paper finding, they found a paper that said the the 200 dollars was for only one year. Now when I left the 200 dollars there was no paper they wrote up she just took my money and said all was OK. I signed nothing!!! I saw no paper!!!@ And when they did come out to fix the fan they left wires hanging out of the unit. The owner said something about it being OK something about the fan being able to reverse it rotation. Now I'm not a electrician but they didn't find the wires hanging out so they should have put them where they were, professional like. Yeah .....I am now looking a new ac/heating company!!!!!
