I will admit - I have been sitting on this for awhile, but now that I am selling my home again and seeing what a difference a great agent can really make, I feel compelled to write a review. I worked with Jesse when I sold my home in July/August of 2020. I found him to be very condescending and frustrating to work with. When we were initially listing our home, I felt the price he suggested was low for the location, size, and condition of the home, but, as he was the expert, I agreed to follow his recommendation. Following that, he also recommended that we take the first offer we got. It honestly felt like he just wanted to dump it from his portfolio because it wasn't a million dollar listing. But what bothers me the most was during closing, I was reviewing the closing statement and noticed that they had not credited the prorated (prepaid) property taxes as agreed. I called Jesse to have him contact the broker to rectify this. He proceeded to argue with me, insisting that I was reading it wrong, without even looking at the document. He told me that if I was so insistent that it was wrong, I could call the broker myself to get it fixed. So I contacted the broker, they saw the error right away and cut me another check for it. His inability to acknowledge a mistake and lack of due diligence could have cost me money had I not taken action. Not a single apology was offered. read more

We worked with Jesse in selling our home in Seattle. We interviewed a couple of other selling agents but ultimately went with Jesse due to his insight into the area and experience selling. Working with him went well and we were able to sell our home in less than average even though the selling market was more difficult. As a side note, another home on our block sold for much less in a better seller's market, so we are pleased. The things we appreciated the most were the great communication and the teamwork in his company. I used them for both selling my home and buying my new home. They are a team set up so that each person has a specialty (listing, buying, etc...) Let's start with the selling of my home. We used the tactic of slightly lower than market pricing to drive multiple offers (Jan 2013) After several low ball offers they advised me to accept the low offers even though market research showing homes like mine selling for much more. After several weeks they recommended lowering the price of my house since i hit a time limit even though the house was showing with very positive feedback and multiple offers. I decided not to follow their advice and kept the price as is. I soon sold it for $10K over list and great terms and conditions. Had i followed their advice i would have walked away from ~$40K. Oh and the listing agent moved to Leavenworth 1 week after listing my home. Now to the buying a new home... If you want to pay someone to set up showings that you find then this is your team. With the exception of an automated email they did not do much to help me search for a home. They would not preview homes to see if they fit what i liked (they actually asked me to drive by them prior to showing so i did not waste their time) (seems backwards to me).. There are too many errors to call out Jillian was completely outclassed by the listing agent of the house we put a contract in on and we ended up with a very prolonged and unfavorable negotiation. Once again, if you want to pay someone for YOUR work in finding a home then choose this group otherwise save yourself some money and go with Redfin (at least you get money towards closing with them for your work) On a good note we finally closed on our new home and it is beautiful and we love it. read more

First time home buyer with them during the summer of 2017. Wanted to help a friend out and ensure the commission went to someone I knew. Unimpressed with Jesse and his negotiation skills and awareness of the Seattle market. Encouraged me to wave inspection, ended up paying an extremely high premium for my studio and the lessons learned whilst purchasing my first property. My particular unit could have been had for $10K less, which is material. Moreover, he did not inform me that he was going on vacation in the middle of our negotiations and bidding. I was informed when I received his out of office reply and left to complete the transaction with an associate agent who had even less experience of the Seattle market than him. Thank you for the expensive lessons Pickett Street. Thankfully no one died and I am smarter now to not deal/accept sub-par, incompetent service in the future. 8 months after selling with this team, i just bought a place through them...Can't be said enough how on top of things this team is. i was looking 1st with a friend of mine who's an agent, but didn't work out as he just didn't have the resources. We have now used Pickett Street Properties to both buy and sell our home. The good: communication. They always kept us up on what was happening and were prompt in answering any questions we had. Everyone is incredibly nice and seems to really want to help. We were selling our from afar and Christi went above and beyond. The only frustration we had was we felt like we got conflicting information at times. Pickett Street team did an amazing job on the most impossible short sale ever. Our home had a first mortgage with Bank of America, and a second HELOC with USAA. The HELOC posed a huge problem because it was technically a line of credit and not a second mortgage. USAA refused to release the lien on our home for months until they could secure a larger payoff than what the first lien holder was willing to pay. On top of that, we had a utility lien of $5000 for the sewer connection. We were not in the position to pay any of these liens off and needed to sell our house. My husband had lost his job, and this 1200 sq. ft. 3 bd. 1 ba. home did not fit our family of 6 anymore. We listed with Jesse Moore because he has the knowledge, experience, and team to get the job done. Even when the banks repeatedly refused the terms that would make the sale work, Pickett Street continued to push the envelope. They did whatever they could think of including emails up the chain of command and Youtube videos on the banks' Facebook pages. They continually found new ways to rattle their cages in hopes to convince them to release their liens and allow the short sale. After we were told "no" a dozen or so times and foreclosure was imminent, my husband and I had given up hope. In that moment on the 11th hour, I received a call that we had lender consent from both banks and we were finally going to close! Pickett Street pulled it off! They were able to convince both the first and the second lien holder to agree to the short sale terms and not require us to come in with any cash. Jesse and Fred are amazing and relentless in their pursuit of conquering until the job is done. I am very impressed and forever grateful for the work they have done for us. read more

Hi I just want to inform the public that we recently purchased a home in which Keller Williams Bothell aka Pickett Street was the listing Broker . The agent was Jesse Moore supposedly working with oversight to Ashley Hogue . We agreed to repairs done prior to a purchase that would be done which were not done to code nor to any realtor ethical standard. The short of it is that home had a 3 1/2' x 3 1/2 foot rotted wall space on a bearing wall. The wall was covered up by new tiling - though framing was rotted through to the point where you could see directly to the outside water membrane. - This was such a LARGE and GLARING hole, that the same contractor who did the bathroom the first time not to code and 'supposedly' didn't discover it then, suddenly had to 'discover' when they had to redo it. He tried to charge us. LAF! If anyone wonders, yes, we did our due diligence and had an inspection, but the wall was newly 'renovated' while Keller Williams Aka Pickett Street were broker and jesse moore and ashley hogue were the listing agent - covered up with no disclosure. -Contractor was in regular communication with Ashley Hogue of Keller Williams Bothell aka Pickett Street , still no disclosure from ANY of the 3 parties involved!!! This is far from over ... We are seriously considering a lawsuit toward the seller and beyond. I also have pics of rot in wall, don't know if anyone here wants to see it-I can send or post. When we complained to the broker Mark, his response letter was that upon talking with HIS agent, (not a single call or contact to us the buyers), he said they had done nothing wrong. Oh, and 'Mark' couldn't even bother spelling our name right, despite the fact that this was a multi-thousand dollar commission Keller Williams received. Funny how that works.... We had to go back and forth with this company causing countless weeks of stress, and many many hours of time, for over 2 months AFTER CLOSING with this company, just to get things functioning and a bathroom we could use safely. I just want to inform the public, both sellers who could end up being sued and buyers, to beware. read more

Jesse, the listing agent, helped us with a listing, marketing and pricing strategy. From there, he handed it off to Ashley to help us get the condo ready to list. Once the listing was live, we were kept up to date on all showings and offers that were received. They presented all of the offers in a way that helped us understand the various details of each offer so we could make the best decision for us. Because we were selling a condo there were some inspection items that we needed to take care of and some that the HOA had to take care of. Ashley helped us figure out how to negotiate all of that so that we could keep the deal moving forward to an on-time closing. While Jesse would have stepped back in if we needed him to, we never did. I gave him 5 stars even though I felt sometimes he was pushing too hard to close the deal too quickly instead of working for the good of the buyers(us).
