I had a great experience with Veronica when selling my house. The market was not very favorable to…read moresellers at the time, with interest rates at a high, and many of the buyers were put off by the relatively smaller yard, but she managed to reach out to thousands of prospective buyers, and get at least a hundred people to actually show up at the house. I also had a tight timeline because I had to leave the US within a couple of months. In the end she managed to reach the right buyer. During the preparation phase, she did her own inspection of the house to get ahead of any serious issues. She then put me in touch and reached out with the necessary contractors to get any high-priority repairs needed. Finally she handled staging the house to make it look as pretty as possible. Throughout the selling process she and her team held ten days of open houses, and over 50 individual showings. She followed up with many of them, as well with other agents to get a feel for how the market was doing. Because of that we got a good feeling for why the house wasn't selling and then made further changes. When we got an offer, she tried to make the closing and negotiations as smooth as possible, and tried to handle most of the stressful things behind the scenes. Being in Las Vegas but looking for a place in Seattle and not knowing ANYONE or where or how to even begin the process. I used YELP for what is here for...to find businesses and read reviews. I searched Realtors and started to read reviews. After reading several reviews I knew I wanted to go with a smaller vs. a bigger company (where they might hand you off to whoever or you get lost in the shuffle). SOOOOO glad I went with Liz! I really believe that things happen for a reason and people come into your life for a reason. From the first time I spoke to her she had a great energy and vibe and I knew she was going to be a hustler. I was already impressed from the get go! In the beginning I explained what my husband and I were looking for, (which I thought were pretty strange requests criteria...because this condo was going to be used for our employee, it needed to be within a certain proximity, near the airport and within our budget). Liz just rolled with it and got on it. I think it was that night or the next we were already Facetiming a property we were interested in...that's how quickly she was on it! BTW she gives great video commentary and is thorough and honest with her review of the places. Not being there and actually seeing something in person for such a large purchase is kind of scary, but it truly was a great experience that I wasn't expecting. She listened and cared about our opinions and was never pushy. So right now the market is CRAZY!! We put in about 3-4 offers starting in February and kept getting outbid by cash offers and waiving everything. Finally we found something that was perfect for us and had keys and were moving in on April 8! We got to do a little fixer upping (Liz helped with finding a contractor) and was able to pick out flooring, paint and light fixtures, to our liking, all for asking price (seller was throwing in some $). I will admit - I have been sitting on this for awhile, but now that I am selling my home again and…read moreseeing what a difference a great agent can really make, I feel compelled to write a review. I worked with Jesse when I sold my home in July/August of 2020. I found him to be very condescending and frustrating to work with. When we were initially listing our home, I felt the price he suggested was low for the location, size, and condition of the home, but, as he was the expert, I agreed to follow his recommendation. Following that, he also recommended that we take the first offer we got. It honestly felt like he just wanted to dump it from his portfolio because it wasn't a million dollar listing. But what bothers me the most was during closing, I was reviewing the closing statement and noticed that they had not credited the prorated (prepaid) property taxes as agreed. I called Jesse to have him contact the broker to rectify this. He proceeded to argue with me, insisting that I was reading it wrong, without even looking at the document. He told me that if I was so insistent that it was wrong, I could call the broker myself to get it fixed. So I contacted the broker, they saw the error right away and cut me another check for it. His inability to acknowledge a mistake and lack of due diligence could have cost me money had I not taken action. Not a single apology was offered.
