Was just renewing my DL and the gentleman helping me was happy, pleasant and conversational. (As of July 2021, you have the option of a 4 or 8 year DL). The line behind me was moving quickly. There were no glitches and even though I had all necessary documentation with me, when renewing a compliant DL, I only needed my unexpired DL and not all the other docs! Great! I was on my way in under 15 minutes. Could not have had a better BMV experience!

Even now I drive through fairly often, and I've started stopping. There's plenty to see and do here. The Pumpkin Festival is definitely worth a visit, of course. Logan Elm if you are a history buff (the tree is gone, but there's a state memorial.) There are a couple of museums in Circleville, the historical society and the Ted Lewis museum. Limited hours at both so call ahead. The food scene is okay but not great. Plenty of chains along 23 in Circleville. And one of the few surviving Raxes! There are decent parks, and some oddball sights like the pumpkin water tower in town, a tank flagpole right along 23, an F-105 at the Amvets, an octagon house. Out of town up on a hill is Mount Oval, an unusual historic house (tours occasionally, again check ahead.) South Bloomfield is booming, and has lost its reputation as a speed trap (I'd still slow down a bit.) Ashville has a Viking Festival, well worth a visit. There are a few other small towns like Commercial Point that are at least worth a look. The county has grown and prospered, with many factories and retail businesses. It's close enough to commute to Columbus. No longer just a drive-through stretch for me, it's got a few nice things to see and do... and many places for a pitstop.

I looked at my finance in awe.... finally once he was done looked up and said "what can I do for you" obviously not in a nice tone either. with a girl behind him on her phone with her foot kicked back on the wall. THEN THE REVIEW OPTION CAME UP on the pin pad when checking out, HE REACHED OVER AND HIT THE GREEN SMILEY FACE. not giving us an option to click the red or yellow one. almost like he knows he gets to act like this with no consequences. DO BETTER. mind you, this isn't the first bad experience I've had. it's the third. but I finally got tired enough of it, and had to write a review. next time I'll drive out of my way to go to another towns post office. bc f this place. don't go here.

Paved parking and event space was equipped with a restroom and full kitchen. Plenty of tables and chairs for about 60. The town itself does not contain an abundance of commerce. Mostly farming. People who live here, I imagine learn to cook for themselves. No restaurant nearby to lean on for lazy dining meals. We saw 2 fuel stations. We pulled into the first one for a portable beverage, when a woman staggered around the side of the building. She began yelling to give her some money. We decided that this beverage may be best purchased elsewhere. One turn, or one mile, and you are basically out of town. Sad that there is not even a little ice cream hut that this town can support. Imagine how far they must go for pizza. Oh hope we didn't miss an opportunity to come to town early enough to check out something historical.
