We like to take advantage of the private rooms for solitude and reflection. While we don't live here, we brought in proof of temporary residency in the state and they gave me a library card. We occasionally exceed the two hour limit on the Internet computers, but with no one else here, they usually demonstrate a very lenient attitude and keep extending our time. The workers here are always gracious and very knowledgeable. We tease one lady calling her "smarter than google" One of my long term goals is to read every book in the biography section! I'm on number 2. This may take some time. 06/24

Searching for a book that the Main Columbus library has but couldn't find, we ended up out here…read more Way out here- it is pretty far out, though right near the high school. Plenty of parking. Bigger place than I expected. Large kid's area with activities. Kid K wanted a teen manga, and they have tons of those. They also have "stuff" to check out: backpacks, games, etc. We had to ask for help, and staff were super friendly and helpful. They weren't busy on a summer weekday afternoon. Definitely would be here often if we lived at all close by.

However, when we walked into the library, we clearly had things with us, and nobody reiterated the policy. I came to the library the previous day with juice and drank in front of somebody, and was not kicked out then. We witnessed two African American boys being kicked out previously due to playing without a chance to change their behavior! We were not asked to throw away the food we were asked to leave. You all should be ashamed of yourselves because out of all the public libraries I have attended, I have never been kicked out for eating or drinking! I honestly believe that this encounter was a form of prejudice!

We are lucky to have a great library system in Franklin County, often rated one of the best in the nation, with many branches, which are being upgraded regularly. Great staff, large selection, easy to reserve. Not to mention the programs and events and electronic offerings. Honestly, one of the centers of the community and a driver of excellence.

It three floors: books on 1 and 2; 3rd floor is an open event room with separate meeting rooms around the edge. We were on the 3rd floor. White walls, wood floor, paintings scattered around. Of course, books are available, but also computer resources, classes, civic, gatherings, art displays, and so much more that enriches our city culturally, educationally, and in terms of quality of life. There is parking available on a limited basis in an attached garage, of which the entrance is found at the side of the library building. other parking is available on the street and in nearby garages and flat lots. In a world where so much has come to rely upon other forms of infotainment, this building is and remains a temple for print and other forms of reading. One of my favorite features are the holiday displays and events that occur throughout the year. The stunning architecture and exquisite white marble are a fitting tribute to the treasures housed within.

I was looking for a specific book and it wasn't available at my branch. I really didn't want to…read morewait for it to be sent inter-library so I found where it was supposed to be in. This branch was located less than 2 miles from a friend's house where I was going for a party that day. It's right off the freeway and had plenty of parking. Having never been here before, I walked in and looked around. Hand to God, the 2 staffers I encountered working there both looked at me and smiled and said hi. Super nice for a 1st impression. I wandered straight ahead to get a feel for the lay out and was quickly able to find the non-fiction section. As I neared the place in the stacks where my book SHOULD be, I think I was holding my breath - having been unable to find books that were "in" way too many times. But sure enough - the book was right where it was supposed to be. I grabbed it and walked back towards the doors. I figured the check outs would be there - and they were. I love how simple it is to sign out a book at any of the CML locations. I punched in my info, scanned my book and printed the receipt which I use as a bookmark. WHile I don't have reason to get to this part of town, I would gladly return as this was a great library with excellent staff!

Lots of stacks, in an old building with interesting rooms and niches. They also have a pretty good selection of nice reading rooms. It's a beautiful building in an historic town.
