But then with complications with the portal/catheter placed in my spouse's body to get the dialysis process to work we had to go to a surgical center multiple times to get replaced. Then in June 2025 we had to go to Riverside hospital multiple times to place an alternative portal for dialysis in my spouse's body. Owners Dean & Aiesha Bonsu of Bolt Medical Transportation have come to our rescue in a BIG WAY to provide transportation for all these medical appts/sessions as early as 6 AM in the morning and many different times during the day. Their dedication for their handling of my spouse in their wheelchair each trip is SECOND TO NONE. Their attitude & care in this service is also SECOND TO NONE. We have no "backup plan" for a different service with a handicap accessible wheelchair vehicle so whether texting or calling Dean to arrange a pickup from home to a medical appt and/or contacting Dean for the different length of these appts is no problem to make us wait for an extended period of time. This is a very PROFESSIONAL SERVICE and I would recommend their service to anyone that needs this type of transportation.

This Urgent Care reminds me of the old days when physicians looked after the true needs of the patient rather than worrying about what the damn lawyers might say. The community culture here is one of extreme entitlement and self-absorption. It's likely any negative comments you find about urgent care are likely to be not valid. I trust the people at urgent care in upper Arlington more than our family physician. The staff and facility are outstanding. It's been 5+ years since my first review here and goodness, a lot has changed since then. So much…read moreso, that it's time for an update. The biggest change is that it has gone through a total renovation on the inside. The check in area is right up front and it's large and spacious. The main floor looks almost the same, with the small cafe area also getting a face lift. I think the thing I noticed the most is that the stairs are gone from the center of the lobby. Now the main way to get to the second floor is the elevator. This definitely opened up the space. As for offices and different departments, the only ones I've been in since the change are urgent care and physical therapy. The urgent care is now on the first floor and when I had to go a few months ago, I was able to quickly book an appointment online for later that day. I had zero wait time and no problems at all. As for the PT area, it looks completely different, and in a good way. The service I've received has stayed the same, really great overall. I'll definitely continue to come here when needed.

This was the first time I have used this location for labs, but it was an option and wanted to go here based on location. I also use this location for Gastroenterology. They have a great department and my doctor works out of the Medical Plaza as well. I have consistently had good visits there too. For the lab work, upon arrival at the plaza the parking is still a bit of a mess due to construction. I would recommend allowing a little extra time to be on the safe side. It was busy when I walked in the tower there was a line at registration of about 7 people in front of me and more arrived after. The line moved as quickly as possible but there was only one employee at that front entrance. She worked to get us all checked in and I think it was just a 9 am rush. After check in and registration, I was directed around to the other side for the lab work. It was on the ground floor and that part of the lobby/waiting room was packed. I had an appointment and waited about 20 minutes past my appointment time or so. I did notice, they do offer walk-in lab hours but would recommend an appointment here if possible. Once my name was called, I was escorted back and the nurse verified my identity and did her job. She was great and was very personable which was nice after the wait. Overall, a good visit and friendly employees and nurses that I spoke with. I will definitely be back as they offer a lot of services and departments here at the Medical Plaza.

They had a self check in, which was super easy and efficient…read more The staff are friendly and accommodating The wait was less than 10 minutes just be seen by a nurse And within five minutes, I was seen by the doctor I had an allergic reaction to Semaglutide, but I also had a sinus infection and an ear infection. I have not been able to get out of bed for four days due to the massive headache that I had. Amy Cohagen DO was compassionate and gave me exactly what I needed to be on the mend. Antibiotic steroid but the magic was in the headache medication that she ordered for me. Within a few short hours, I was able to get out of bed and begin to have life normal again Keep in mind, had been to the ER the night before and was still desperate to get rid of my headache. Shout out to this little gem in Newark Ohio and a Doctor who cares for her patients!!!!
