I really contemplated on posting this review because normally the experience here is good, however today it was just terrible. I just can't believe the service I received from the cashier today!!! After sweating to get up to the 3rd level, I pulled a part that took some time to remove (not easy). When I got to the cashier it was a girl that I have never seen there before. She was the one with a large birth mark on her face. After an exhausting part pull I went to her at the register (she was the only one), and she began to start arguing with me about what part I had. It was amusing that she didn't even know what I had anyhow as she kept scrolling through her computer trying to figure it out for 5 minutes. Note, I have purchased this same part multiple times over the year at this location, with different cashiers. She claimed the lock actuator I had was a "chassis control computer!" No way in the world does this little actuator motor with a single 3/8" connector be classified as a chassis computer! It doesn't control anything, it actually gets told by a computer to lock or unlock it's motor actuator! I kindly explained how it functions and she didn't believe the ASE master technician I am. She began her belittling attitude, then I kindly asked to confirm with the other gentlemen there (one that's a manager (Juan), and the other that's a normal cashier (which has worked in the Nissan Parts dept. for many years, this being a Nissan part he always knows exactly what it is). She said nobody's available. Then to my surprise, she began to belittle the other cashiers, and the knowledgeable male cashier I normally see. She stated that they Did Not Know what the part was, and that I was always undercharged. Hmmm...very interesting, because I forgot to mention the other Female cashiers charge the same as the Men too. Between the terrible customer service, and her not knowing what the part was, I left the part on the counter and walked away exhausted. Go ahead and recycle it off as scrap metal, because I was about to buy it for what it's worth. Overall this Female cashier needs to be trained on customer service, parts identification, and to simply be able to uphold the reputation of the company by not talking down fellow "More Experienced" employees. Belittling customers is one thing, but to belittle your fellow employees really makes me not want to go back! read more

The girl on phone(whom can't comprehend English very well) ask me over and over again the same questions her final offer to me about my car is: we can pay you $320.00 and then she says For towing your car here $ 380.00 towing ! ????? We went here today to get a part and was told at the gate by one girl, it could take up to a week for them to pull it. I mentioned I needed it tomorrow as I was schedule with my Mechanic, and had been trying to call the direct location all week. I asked for direct numbers here to call and was given two numbers that did not work. Went to speak to the cashier as instructed and was told they could actually pull it today but at 1pm/a little after (currently 11:15 am) it was confirmed over the radio by the cashier and the guy in the yard. Told them we drove a distance and was told they would call us! Paid! Waited around the area (their phones don't work so can't even call for an update) came back close to 1600 (cancelled a later appointment) and was told "I don't know why they said that... it will be 3days!! EXCELLENT!!! LKQ at 3760 Pyrite Street in Riverside is the BEST! It is extremely organized and easy to find the car you need to pull your part from. Agent Cisco checked us through and he told us exactly where to find the two cars we needed to look at. The cars were already jacked-up so you can easily get the parts you need. When we came to the front counter with our parts, Representative Bevenice Ramirez was so helpful in letting us know the price for our pulled-parts. Such great prices. Highly overpriced. Nothing compared to what is used to be before LKQ bought Pick Your Part. You now pay $5 just to walk in. I found a broken front grille for a 2002 Toyota I was considering to glue up even tough it was also missing the emblem. I need to drive the car for work and was willing to repair the grille and do the repaint process. They wanted $79 for a broken piece of plastic that will otherwise be scrapped for pennies! Or I could get it $15 cheaper if I didn't pay the 90 day return fee I found it aftermarket OEM for $95 at Amazon with free no hazle return guarantee. I found the same grille also at IPULL YOU PULL Pomona for $34 dollars with 60 day return for free! After 35 years of using Pick Your Part I'm disappointed they are no longer an option for me. They've become too greedy and no longer an option for the little people like me who live pay check to paycheck. read more

I came here specifically to warn you to be prepared to walk up a steep hill to get to most of the cars. I saw a previous post that mentioned there used to be a tram? There was no tram as of 5/7/22... For some older cars, the only place to get discontinued parts are junk yards. This one runs a scam. I paid for warranty on my parts. Have reciept. Have parts. They won't allow returns 3 days into the 90 day warranty effectively stealing around $50 because THEY didn't place paint on the parts, but didn't explain that THE WARRANTY YOU PIAD FOR DOESN'T COUNT WITHOUT THE PAINT. So why isn't the paint placed on all parts with warranty when you pay? Fuck you for stealing from customers. read more

This was my 3rd time at this location. First two times left empty handed. Found something I really needed this time. I knew how much it will cost before going to the cashier. Always check the pricing first people. I told her I got a standard passenger side mirror. After about a minute she said, "21.50." I said how much is tax? How did you charge me that much? She try to say that it's a power mirror. We got into a short heated argument. I asked if someone can confirm. She called a male cashier next to her. Dude didn't even bother looking at the mirror, he just start yelling at me with blood boiling face. I asked a yard worker behind me and he gave me a blank look. The female cashier yelled to a yard worker named, "Ozzy." He confirmed and said it's manual, not power. Thank you! Not sure if it's ignorant or just want to cheat customer by a few dollars. This place is horrible! They nickel and dime you on everything. Sometimes the part comes out to be almost as much as going to retail parts store. Pricing is subjective on how you look. If you are Caucasian and clean looking be prepared to pay more. They keep pricing very generic so that they can charge you whatever they want. Out of all the LKQ yards, riverside is the worse for price gouging. The line at cashier is ridiculous! They would rather hire a armed guard then an additional cashier. Lastly they don't always have the tram running. People can't walk up and down the steep hills with parts and tools. This yard is destined to close and just become a scrap yard. Rip off, I bought a door panel and they tried charging me for pieces that were part of the panel, they were literally glued on it secured with rivets, I broke off the pieces because if I didn't the $25 door panel would've been 60, this is one of those places that you should throw some stuff in your pocket because when you pull up to the window they're gonna rob you, honorable mention of me facing to take some loose bolts out of my bag because i wasn't allowed to enter with them, and also they sell $100 radios for $90, I also heard the employees talking amongst each other saying "oh yeah it's busy, and they're all pst off too" I don't recommend this lkq location read more

I sold and old van months ago and well I got my check that same day. I did a mobile e deposit and never realize that it had never gone through because the print wasn't very visible. I got a call from them letting me why I haven't deposit my check and if something was wrong . I was clueless at what she was talking about until I check my back statements and that's when I realized that my check never got deposit. The manager who's name I forgot sorry was kind to tell me that they would make another check, but I had to wait about 7-10 Business day to be able to write another check. I followed up with them and they had a check for me within the 10 days. I am surprised because now and days you can't trust anyone. I would definitely go back to give them my business either for a part or to sale any other . read more

Security guards are punks. They wanted to put paint on my brand new tools and I refused to have ugly paint on my tools. Security guard got all crazy trying to talk smack to me. They wanted to start a physical confrontation. I told him lets step outside. There are two guys in this world. Men who get down and back up what they say, and men who cry that they're going to "Call the police." look. Don't disrespect a grown man and run your mouth, then say "i'm going to call the police." If you he said he will call the sherriff. I walked away and he said "f*** you" - I told him "Let's go" and he kept saying he was gonna call the sherriff. The kid ran his mouth constantly and was instigating a physical altercation. He is lucky there are cameras and it's not the street, because if you talk to someone the wrong way like that something bad is going to happen to you eventually. Is is very lucky. Decent yard, plenty of parking out front. I do like the row labeling of cars on their website, makes it very easy to find specific vehicles. Pricing is pretty much the same as every other yard around. You have to know what new parts cost if you are gonna save money picking used stuff. I see people complaining about cost of used parts vs. new. For some makes that's a good point but when you are looking for 30 yr old parts that are only available from OEM and cost a small fortune, the yard prices suddenly look pretty good. this location has a tram to transport you up and down the hill for the 3 sections. The price is fair if you can't find it somewhere else cheaper. As far as the staff goes they chill and have a good attitude. When I go here I gotta make sure to bring all the tools needed to get the parts and make sure to look up online if they got the right car . Compared to other yards this place was filthy! Parts everywhere! I mean you just couldn't walk in between the cars. The selection is very small as well. I tried asking the front desk where a certain car was and I was just told that everything is mixed and to go find it. I called and sold my car to this business over the phone. I was very specific in mentioning several times that I did not have the title but only a release letter from the bank. I was told this was fine. The driver was three hours late in picking up the car. I was then told that without the title he was going to give me fifty dollars less then originally agreed on. I had arranged to have my car picked up by this company. Was told it would be picked up within a four hour window and that the driver would call me one hour prior to the arrival time. I changed my travel plans for the day to accommodate the pickup and ensured the car was accessible and easy to load. I made sure my phone was with me all morning but never received the call. When I called after the window had passed they transferred me to tow driver. The lady that answered was rude and claimed they had tried calling once and left a message. I had no record of either. When I called LKQ to let them know, I spoke to Regina. She apologized, but still doesn't change the fact that I still am stuck with the car and have to make further arrangements. I went here to find a replacement Hub Cap. The place was packed. There was also a 2 dollar charge to walk in the gate. I can live with that, I asked the guy at the gate where I would find hub caps. He did not speak English. I walked around a bit and did not see them. I asked a couple of more guys, no English. I finally stood in line to ask the cashier. He also did not speak English. In fact, I could not find anyone there that spoke English. I felt very out of place and uncomfortable. I did find the same model car as mine, but all the wheels are removed.
