Went on a Thursday around 3pm. Parking lot was jam packed. The store was crazy busy. Every register, including self-check, had lines extending to nearly the back of the store. I had one item. Went for soup ingredients and actually wanted to vomit when I was by the onions. Absolutely INFESTED with fruit flies. Grabbed a bag of celery and some carrots. At the self check out I noticed BLACK MOLD on the celery (plain bag of celery), and a carrot so rotten it was oozing green! Tempted to take pics for the review but it's not worth my time. If you ever shop here, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS check dates! I do commend the nice gal who was rolling the hives boxes of bananas out. Went to store during this holiday season. Upon leaving, I asked if I could break a $20 at customer service desk so I could give money to the Salvation Army bell ringers outside, a family with kids who were actually singing carols to bring in donation. Pick & Save employees denied breaking my bill, even when I told them what it was for, saying it was against store policy. what kind of hard hearted idiots are working here? If I could give this store no stars I would! If you want a grocery shopping experience where the customer service is not there, a store where 80% of what you go there for is not there then this is your store! Bakery clerk rude: Asked if they had more chocolate persian donuts. She told me I have to come in early morning or order them. She was very rude as if I was bothering her. Previously I was told to come before noon! Organic sour cream: No longer carrying it. Dukes Mayo shelf empty last two times I have gone in there. Except for hint of lime. Not interested. Vanilla Ice cream in gallon. Not there. I went down the road a bit to Piggly Wiggly. They had EVERYTHING I just mentioned PLUS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and more than ONE person checking people out. There is a person working there to fill on line orders and then has to take them to the car, his name is Austin. He is fantastic worker and respectful to the customers. I don't know why he stays working there with the type of coworkers he must have to contend with on a daily basis. I am glad Austin is there and I can depend on him. Most of the other people at this pic n save who do this same job at the store are lousy and rude. Lazy acting and lacking basic people skills. I hope that they do not work there much longer. If all the workers were like Austin, I would give a 5 star review; but because these other workers are below par I can only give a 3 star because those people equal 0 for stars. read more

The self checkout lady named Lee, was very disrespectful and telling us not to buy toliet paper for tping when we are supporting a business. Is very slow and didn't believe us when there was a sale. The staff is very friendly, but unfortunately friendliness cannot make up for the filth of the place. The entire floor is covered in grime. I found a fist sized dust ball on one of the shelves, there's dead bugs and plastic shreds all over the floor. The door to the bathroom stuck to my hands. There's a urine smell that permeates the entire store. I found expired meat for sale. Several things dropped clouds of dust when I picked them up. Overall not a good experience. read more

When it comes to the food and the store itself, everything is great. The reason for such a low score? We are here on a Saturday, it's super busy, and they have 2 check out lanes open. To the point where even self checkout has a line. They have 6 checkout lanes here and majority of the time, only 1 is ever open. If I had a few things, self check out all the way. We have a full cart and would just love to get checked out by an employee like a normal person. Open up more lanes please! read more

Where to start....with the good, bad, or ugly? The good; it's clean and for the most part well organized. They make a good use of the space that they have. They try to carry as wide of a selection of products as they are able and in all honesty you will be able to find all your standard items here and then some. The bakery is pretty decent for the area and if you need donuts...this is your best bet. The bad; you aren't always going to find everything that you want..or need and so sometimes you are going to have to compromise or substitute things and on occasion you might have to change plans altogether. The produce is hit or miss and really more miss than hit in the winter months. The ugly; it's expensive...this is a small tourist town and they charge small tourist town prices. They know that they have a captured market because unless you are going to drive the 30ish minutes or so to a bigger town this is the best game in town. As well, the customer service here is extremely hit or miss. It's never over the top good though. I've had to help solve a customer service meltdown at the register with a bunch of teenage checkers/baggers and a customer ....it was a simple fix but the staff were at a total loss of how to handle it. read more

Favorite grocery store in town, prices are ok, and I almost always find what I want. The aisles are always clean and stocked, pricing errors are always fixed, this has only happened a couple times in the ten years I have shopped here. I always find could deals. read more

Friendly and helpful staff, great selection and good prices! They work hard to keep what is needed in stock. The store is always clean and the do get involved in the community! They had a brat fry this summer that supported animals in need at a local shelter and it seems they are always helping our community in some fashion. They are turning around a bad situation. read more

I used to love going to this grocery store but man, their deli has detoriated- not the food , but rather the customer service- I was in there about a month ago and the manager of the deli was reprimanding a new employee about the way she served chicken- that new employee was so sweet and helpful- I went back there today, same manager stood there while a line was waiting at the deli counter- I know they need help but I would never work for a manager like that- suggestion-- get rid of the deli manager ad she is not customer friendly!!!!! read more

I hate this place. The cashiers are always surly, the food is overpriced, and the produce is crappy. Every single time I have been here, there is one cashier, and a giant line of 10 or more people waiting. No one ever comes to help. And, one time I was shopping with my kids and I was mumbling to myself about the quality of their avocados. Some employee in a white coat comes by and starts harrassing me about what I said. About how all their avocados are good and ripe, and how I was mistaken. He wouldn't let me walk away, he just kept repeating himself, and telling me how he lived in Florida and they were expensive there, blah blah blah, they're all perfectly ripe. Since when is it an employee's duty to reprimand a customer?? I have been making guacamole for 20 freaking years, and I make a damn good bowl of guacamole. But guess what? I took his word for it, despite how uncomfortable he made me feel, and bought a couple. When I got them home, they were bruised inside like I thought they would be, and they tasted like crap. And they were expensive. But the last time I was there, I saw his picture up on the wall for employee of the month. Mike, his name was. Ugh. I hate this place. I only shop here if i desperately need something. This store is extremely over priced and of you walk on you best pray your the only one in the store because these people could probably earn a world record for longest times spent trying to check you out. Always long checkout lines and even if you luck out and there is only one other customer before you in line. Have no fears they will gossip and take there sweet time checking them out. Went to pick up some groceries and go to check out and they have one check out person. I counted at least 6-7 people stocking the shelves. Not sure why no one was called up to help? Management saw this someone did step out to help bag but as soon as some came to help she went back to her office with dark window the rest of the group instead of stepping to the next register to check people out. Not only are their prices outrageous they have no concern for the customer. I did feel sorry for the check out lady and she did apologize however it was not her fault. I think management needs an over haul! With no customer service and high prices not sure how long they are going to last. read more

Always, always find healthy foods out of stock and long lines. I keep going only because it's the most variety in the area.

The stores layout design works well. If you shop at 5pm on work days plan on waiting in the checkout lane. They tend to be a bit short staffed at times. Deli meats are fresh and value priced. read more

Staff do not go out of their way to even look at you let alone actually greet you, store is ALWAYS out of things (especially the items that are in the flyers), selection in meat department is poor and the check-outs are so busy there are many times when we are waiting in line way back into the aisles. We need a Festival Foods in this town-they would blow this store out of the water! read more

This is my favorite local grocery store. Items are almost always in stock, and I can often get what I want on sale. They will accept store and manufacturers coupons at the same time for the same item, so I often save 1/4 - 1/3 off my grocery bill. Prices are the same or lower than the other local chain grocery store. Staff is friendly and helpful. They even bag my groceries. The store is always clean and nicely decorated. read more
