I'm not perfect but I don't deserve to be treated that way. And this isn't a one time occurrence either, it's always the same cashier. And I'm not kidding when I say I get screamed at. I wish we had another cost effective alternative for groceries around here. Having to go to aldis is one of the worst most tiresome experiences ever.

The service is friendly. The coffee and food are good. The gift shop is a lot of fun. You can't miss the river, covered bridge and chapel out back. There are plenty of picnic tables so you can enjoy food and beverages outside while enjoying the beauty. Along the river you will see gravestones for all the cats that used to live here back in the day. In summer, this is definitely touristy and busy. Late fall to early spring is when all the locals visit.

They do have pretty decent produce, and I haven't gotten any bad meat there yet. I got some nice ribeyes there for a few bucks each when they were on sale. I like stores that have good sales on meat! The younger cashiers and baggers are so sweet and friendly, and I've never had a problem with them. However, one time I went there, to the 12 items or less aisle--with 12 items, and the cashier hassled me mercilessly!!! Some older lady, I think her name was Sandy? Anyways, the second I stepped into line she said, "You know it's only 12 items or less, right?" Me: "Yep, that's why I'm here, I have 12." Her: "Okay...." (keeps staring at me, shaking her head, thinking real hard about what she's going to say) Her: "It's just that we only have room for so much, you know." Seriously, this lady was like a bulldog! She wouldn't let go! At this age, I hope I'd be able to count to 12, geez. So I gave her an earful about being hassled and went to another store. Now, I usually avoid the older cashiers. Another time, I am 99.9% sure the older cashier lady was drunk. She was slurring her words, and moving around like she didn't quite know what she was doing. Anyways, I go here occasionally. If I can get a deal, and get in and out quickly.
