I have had the raspberries here, and they are fantastic! Same for the strawberries--this summer is the first time I have had a strawberry that tasted like a real sun-kissed strawberry, and the same for the raspberries. I'll never eat store berries again. I've also had some of their early corn, and it tasted promising. Sweet, with gold-white kernels, and it was a fairly decent size. I'll be back for more!! I will visit again, and I do recommend it.

They do have pretty decent produce, and I haven't gotten any bad meat there yet. I got some nice ribeyes there for a few bucks each when they were on sale. I like stores that have good sales on meat! The younger cashiers and baggers are so sweet and friendly, and I've never had a problem with them. However, one time I went there, to the 12 items or less aisle--with 12 items, and the cashier hassled me mercilessly!!! Some older lady, I think her name was Sandy? Anyways, the second I stepped into line she said, "You know it's only 12 items or less, right?" Me: "Yep, that's why I'm here, I have 12." Her: "Okay...." (keeps staring at me, shaking her head, thinking real hard about what she's going to say) Her: "It's just that we only have room for so much, you know." Seriously, this lady was like a bulldog! She wouldn't let go! At this age, I hope I'd be able to count to 12, geez. So I gave her an earful about being hassled and went to another store. Now, I usually avoid the older cashiers. Another time, I am 99.9% sure the older cashier lady was drunk. She was slurring her words, and moving around like she didn't quite know what she was doing. Anyways, I go here occasionally. If I can get a deal, and get in and out quickly.

So many varieties, and they all sounded so good. We ended up with plain, cheddar, jalapeno cheddar, buffalo chicken, and red & blue; and they all got very positive reviews. Definitely worth the premium price. I didn't have too much time to take a look at everything else, but I know I'l be back. There's a beautiful selection of seafood, deli meat, cheeses, and other boutiquey items. The store was very clean, and I was helped quickly. Really a wonderful visit.

I couldn't find it anywhere in Waupaca except at this store, and they charged an insane 18-20$ for the same bottle! Too bad as the idea of a store like this on main street is great, but no one want's to be ripped off, right?

They do not add sugar to their cranberries so a bag of the dehydrated cranberries do not contain the high sugar content of most other brands. This also helps retain the natural "tartness" of the cranberries. They were very friendly and courteous and answered all our questions. We were able to purchase a number of 1 oz, 3 oz, and 4 oz bags (although I made be wrong here, but I believe they were discontinuing the 4 oz bag at some point). We keep some handy and munch a few now and then right out of the bag. My wife got energetic and made some cranberry scones. I've got my eye on a cranberry waldorf salad recipe I want to try. On their website, you can find the various stores they sell their products through or, if one is not nearby, you can order online. All in all, a very pleasant experience. Definitely going to keep this a staple in our pantry.
