I used to really enjoy shopping at the Pick 'n Save on Jackson Street in Oshkosh, but unfortunately, the store seems to have taken a noticeable dip in quality over the past year or so. The biggest issue for me is inventory. Items seem to be out of stock fairly often, and the inventory doesn't always appear to be updated or replenished in a timely manner. I've also had several experiences where I've gone in early in the morning expecting the shelves to be fully stocked, only to find that quite a few sections haven't been replenished yet. Another ongoing issue is shopping carts. It seems like there are rarely enough carts inside the store, and several times I've had to go back outside to find one myself. It's a small thing, but it makes the shopping experience unnecessarily frustrating. I'm giving three stars because I still like the store and would honestly prefer to shop here, but the overall experience just isn't what it used to be. Hopefully management can address the stocking and cart issues because this used to be one of my go to grocery stores. read more

Cluttered aisles, terrible fruit, and vegetables, usually rotten or close to the end. Checkouts are packed, prices are sky high unless there is a weekly sale but, that usually have limited availability. Bakery racks haven't been cleaned in years or so it seems.Walmart's racks are surprisingly clean! The parking lot is full of trash and carts are located outside and not always available for customers. The meat cases are filthy usually dried blood and dust. Lord knows what is inside of them. Clearly they do not have audits! read more

Everyone who checks out groceries and bags them is extremely efficient and courteous - employees who stock produce and coolers (meat & dairy) are always friendly and helpful. Beyond this, do not even attempt to ask anyone a question. I realize we all get busy and distracted, but this woman was just plain nasty. "Find someone else to ask, I'm not a manager" was the nicest part of her response. I will shop elsewhere in the future. I shopped at this store once a week for years, now I am done. read more

After this morning I would give ZERO stars if I could. 11: a.m. on a Saturday morning and only ONE cashier with a long line of at least 20 customers waiting to be checked out. The self checking machines by the main entrance were closed and the ones in the store near the SUPPOSED check out lanes were full,with lines of customers who wanted to check out as well. As for the ladies restroom? ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Someone missed the toilet whilst taking a shit so there was crap on the floor. Shelves are poorly stocked, customer service counter had two people but apparently only David was able to assist customers as the girl was too busy staring off into space like a zombie. My mom and I have shopped at pick n save Murdock for years, but today was the last straw. We will NOT be shopping there again if they can't afford to pay for enough cashiers so people can get their shopping done and go home or to work. read more

The produce is so-so, the meat selection is ok, meat quality is good, but not great. The liquor, beer, and wine selection is very good. The big problem with this store is that they are always out of about 30% of what I am looking for. I am convinced this is a strategy to reduce inventory. They also bait and switch a lot, advertising a sale item but run out of it right away. A substitute that is more expensive is always in stock right next to where the sale item was supposed to be. Of course they offer a rain check, but if you need the item that day you are out of luck. Kroger recently bought the Pick N Save stores, so we will see if any of this changes. read more

Purchased a condiment that was bad. Went to store to exchange. Waited in customer service line for 25 minutes. Had a kid behind the counter who clearly did not know what he was doing (not his fault). Finally exchanged and proceeded to do my shopping when I saw a mob of people waiting to check out. All self-service in the front were closed. Decided to leave and a manager was standing near the door. I said to him, " I just waited 25 minutes in line to exchange a product and the line to check out is too long. Your store sucks. I'm never coming back here again". He replied with a flip "OK". What kind of manager doesnt give a damn that a customer is really upset with his store. I can get everything I need at the Pig and Aldi. Really not sure why I continue to shop at P&S? I do get their coupons and there is always a free item-typically lame, like free frozen vegetables worth about $1.99, but from now on I'm tossing the coupons except the free one. Will stop in P&S when i go to Aldi and only get the free item. Very petty but it will make me happy. Pick and Save sucks!! read more

This is the first time I have made a review. The Jackson Street Pick n Save store is one I frequently go to. All of the employees are very helpful and professional. There is one in specific who I would like to give a shout out to. Her name is JeNelle. She has always been very helpful, courteous, professional, friendly and willing to assist the customers in any way she can. I stopped at the store because it was on my way home from work and grabbed a few things and didn't realize that after I got home which is about 25 minutes away, that one of the products I grabbed was almost 3 years expired. Now I do understand that I probably should have checked but being that it's a pretty decent size store they should have better rotation . I called the department manager and didn't even get an apology or anything just said oh okay I guess I'll check and that was it. Being that I have worked in the grocery store industry for over 13 years they definitely should have handled it differently and should have at least apologized because it's not like I'm going to drive 25 minutes away to get a refund or do an exchange for a different one. read more

This is my favorite grocery store. I love the way it's laid out when I go in. The fruit always good they have the best donuts I've ever had. I use the rewards program and I always get a lot off. The people are really helpful for the most part. I had one lady today that was helpful but not real friendly. But that did not change my opinion of the store. read more

If you shop at this store watch your bank account. We have charges on our bank card that we never made. We contacted the store and have gotten nothing but the run around. The manager never called us back, my husband had to keep calling them back which is unacceptable. They wont take it seriously and the explanations they give do not make sense. They supposedly have a video of the person but refuse to show it to us. So it seems to me the store knows who it is but wont take action. We will not be shopping here again. If I could give this store a negative I would. Very poor management!! The security team here is a joke!! read more

Every time I tell myself that I only need something quick I am reminded why I avoid this place. It's dirty, several veteran employees are very rude, nobody seems to man the meat counter and when they do show up they bring extra attitude, and I have never seen more than 3 cashiers working even during the holidays. The only reason that I ever go to this store is because it's close to my home. I would never shop here otherwise. People who work here are miserable and rude (most of them, there is a gentleman manager who is always friendly and says hello). Deli is usually understaffed so maybe that's why they are always annoyed. Whatever you do, don't ask them for your lunchmeat to be shaved, just take whatever they have in the case already. They DO NOT want to do anything extra. I hate the feeling of being a bother just because my family likes shaved lunchmeats. This has happened to me more than once or else I would have not mentioned it. Also, it seems that every time I go in here, whatever is on sale is also out of stock. A couple of weeks ago, there were 3 items that I specifically went in to purchase because of a sale and they were all out of stock. I find this to be a regular occurrence and it's also frustrating. The woman who seems to be the front desk manager always seems annoyed and never smiles. Maybe that's her personality, fine, but it would be nice if she once said "you're welcome" after I say "thank you" instead of just turning away from me.
