The only thing here that is a bit annoying is the lack of cellular service once you get into the building, forcing you to utilize their WiFi but you have to ask the information desk for the password. It would be really helpful to have that information posted at the door or around the store because I often use my phone in the store. Other than that, I love sendiks & will continue to shop here for years to come!

How cool is that! On this trip I was looking for some flowers, something fall-ish, for thanksgiving (for my mother-in-law). They don't have an actual floral department, but they had flowers in several locations and I would what I needed. They have a full service meat department, which I like to see. Along with bakery and deli. I don't show there frequently, but when I do I usually find what I am looking for.

I buy my cat food here, because she is a princess and deserves it (*insert sarcasm and an eyeroll), but also frozen single serve meals for work, and baguettes, among a few other things. This is not a regular shop for us, but is a good place to hit up when you need that "one thing". 9/2024

The Only…read morecomplaint I have is i use a walker, so I come in, get a scootercart, then go out to my car, which is parked in one of the handicapped spots up against the building. I put the walker in the Car, then go back in and shop. This is between 2 and 4 a.m. when I check out, I drive the scootercart out to my car, then load my groceries. They have a sign about no scootercarts are to be taken outside. I think that's Utterly Ridiculous! I'm not about to reload all my groceries into a normal cart, just to go a short distance out to the Car. If you can take a regular cart outside, why can't I ask a disabled person take a scootercart outside? Other stores have a distance limit on theirs so you can't go too far outside. And the same people who collect the carts can surely ride the scootercart back inside. I did ask the checkout lady since I was parked in the very first spot next to the door, if I could take it outside to load my groceries. She had an attitude, but said ok. The carts are big and noisy but I'll use the "small" ones if I can find one. The store can be overwhelming the first couple of times but eventually you get used to the layout. Woodmans is always busy but with the selection and prices, it's easy to see why. And even with the amount of product and people that pass through here, it's well kept and clean. I wonder how often a negative review drives business up but when I read "Little B's" review below,…read morewhich is really brilliant writing by the way, I just HAD to come here. And you know what? Little B was sharpshooter accurate. The two main problems are intertwined. First, they are woefully understaffed, long, slow lines. Even for hire-the-customer-without-pay checkout (I think they call it "self-checkout," which to me means looking at yourself up and down salaciously in a mirror). The employees suffer from low morale, if it were just one worker with a defeated and tired attitude I would chalk that up to personal trouble. When it's a whole store, a whole chain, a whole industry, then it's a social issue. By the way, I just snuck in a little C. Wright Mills on you. Still, I've been in worse Pick'N Saves, like the one on National. By the way, they closed and razed that one. Still, the reviews are pretty entertaining.
