This place either hires lazy or incompetent workers if they think having product that expired 8 months ago in their freezer section is ok.

They must hire lazy or incompetent workers because apparently they think having products that expired 8 months ago in their freezer section is ok. Gross.

Wow... was the meat manager rude. I understand it's the holiday, but really. He was just disrespectful and short with me.

5 stars! Fresh food friendly employees. Love this location since it converted to a Metro! Balloon shop and sushi are the best!

Spent more than $16 on 3 loaves of white Keto bread. It was not outdated, but every loaf was moldy (green & grey)

Is this store closing? It seems like they are remodeling but stocking like they are closing. Haven't had jumbo eggs in 5 or 6 weeks. All other store have had them. Meijer, Sendik's, Piggly Wiggly etc. Time to shop at one of the other stores listed.

I definitely would not be surprised if they are closing. The management there is absolutely terrible, and the company as a whole has been changing for the worse. Meijer has been my go-to store for over three months now! They have great products,… Read more

The weekly specials drew me in originally but the fresh produce, frequent meat department specials, a home goods department with a ton of fun & unique items plus so much more. Don't forget to take a peek at the clearance rack too. The staff here is always helpful and friendly. The only thing here that is a bit annoying is the lack of cellular service once you get into the building, forcing you to utilize their WiFi but you have to ask the information desk for the password. It would be really helpful to have that information posted at the door or around the store because I often use my phone in the store. Other than that, I love sendiks & will continue to shop here for years to come!

This was my first experience with Sendiks catering and it will be my last. The food was extremely expensive and for what I paid, it just wasn't worth it. I followed the reheating instructions carefully. The turkey was dry and had an off flavor. The mashed potatoes were okay but nothing special. The stuffing was incredibly salty, with no other discernible flavor. I didn't taste the green beans, but my sister said they were tasteless. The gravy had the usual generic institutional chicken flavor. Neither of us bothered to try the cranberry relish. If this is an example of Sendiks catering, I don't recommend it. Especially at the price!

And for being so large, it is so very clean. The staff there are pleasant. As you walk around, trying to find your particular item, they will actually look you in the eye, and ask if they can help. How cool is that! On this trip I was looking for some flowers, something fall-ish, for thanksgiving (for my mother-in-law). They don't have an actual floral department, but they had flowers in several locations and I would what I needed. They have a full service meat department, which I like to see. Along with bakery and deli. I don't show there frequently, but when I do I usually find what I am looking for.

I got the imitation crab krispy krab roll to take home. What do you get food wise for $5 anymore so I went for it. To my surprise it was flavorful/tasty with a sweet/spicy flavor with sticky Al dente rice and small wasabi/pickled ginger that didn't last the roll that was very satisfying for the price point from a grocery store. No it's not the best sushi around but for $5 for take home it's not bad if your not a sushi snob. The flavor profiles were on point and totally satisfied my sushi crave on the poor persons price. It's like value menu item that is surprisingly pretty good.

No matter what time I come here the produce section is a mess. There are loads left alllllll over the store it's impossible to push a cart in there without creating so many obstacles. If you're in a rush, this is absolutely not the place to come. This use to be my go to. I don't go to the deli at all anymore. They are over worked and don't like helping anyone. I dread having to order from this deli. The bakery girls got it going on. I hope you treat them good because that team rocks. The store is dirty and not put together well. The cart man during the day/morning is ALWAYS mad. No matter how good you treat him, encounters with him are never enjoyable. The carts are FILTHY. Never in my life have I see carts in that condition at a big name grocery store. The workers here need more support. It seems like everyone is always so behind and working their tails off and it's not paying off. The customers are horrible as well. I spend twice as much at fresh thyme but the experience is so worth it. Every time I come to this location I say, never again. Such a shame. They are short staffed by any measure, they press customers into working for free (self check out), and it's hard to find anyone who can help you find something specific. Long, slow lines if like me you insist on a human being check you out. Employees aren't well trained in pandemic precautions, most prefer the Amish Beard or Snorkel style of mask wearing without much hand cleaning. It's what the local customers prefer, this is an area where many don't really believe in COVID19, so although pretty busy hardly any customers are masked or distancing. At the time of my visit, local hospitals were nearing capacity again. Many goods have no prices marked, especially in endcap and special sale displays. On the plus side, there's a good selection of produce, flowers, fresh baked goods.
