Enter The Art of Dog. They have an excellent outdoor and indoor daycare program where small dogs can all play and have structured activities. They also provide an invaluable service by picking up and dropping off our pup from our San Francisco apartment four times a week -- and they do it with consistency and care. It brings us so much joy to see our dog getting regular playtime and socialization with other pups throughout the week. The photos and videos they share are also a great bonus -- we love getting glimpses into the activities and adventures, and seeing our dog having the best time. Cynthia and Miquel are incredibly friendly, communicative, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their level of professionalism and genuine love for dogs is exactly what we value and look for within a daycare provider for our sweet girl. We feel so lucky to have found them, and we highly recommend their services to any fellow dog parent!

But the thing that keeps bringing me back to Linda is the fact that she really cares about my dog. I know when Dazzle is with her she gets taken care of AND she gets love and attention. Linda takes care of Dazzle on a regular basis from daytime only stays when I work to 2 day stays when I have to travel for work, to 10 day stays when I go on vacation. She is friendly and easy to like. She is professional, her house is always clean, and the dogs in her care always look happy and well cared for. When a dog has particular needs (food, behavior training, medication administration, outdoor time, etc.) she always accommodates these needs and builds them into her plan of care for the dog. The telltale sign that Dazzle is well cared for and loved is the way Dazzle runs to her with a wagging tale when I drop her off. Linda Taylor gives A+ care to dogs!!

Especially now that we commute to SF for work, I used to feel really guilty coming home from work late at night and my dog, Brewer, thinking it's time to play. Now we come home to a happy, sleepy, well taken-care-of puppy. It's good to know that he is having fun while my boyfriend and I are at work :) Samantha had a meet and greet with us and Brewer loved her. The few times I've worked from home, he always runs straight to the door when Samantha or her daughter comes over to pick him up. You can tell that they all genuinely love dogs. They also send cute pictures and videos of the dogs playing, which are always nice to get while at work! The Lazy Bones Dog Adventures team is professional, nice, flexible, accommodating and their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend, and Brewer says, "2 paws up!"

I called a few dog walkers by getting their cards from a pet boutique store in Mill Valley. Though the first gals I signed up with were fine--they were expensive and after a couple of weeks i realized I would like to do 3 days instead of 2 per week and felt like $28 per walk was a rip off. That's when I called Niki who was referred to me by a good friend whose dog died a couple of years ago--she said "she is the BEST. She loved Scout like she was her own dog--she would send photos from their long hikes and dress them up on Halloween." She wasn't sure that she was still in the business. I called her, met her and knew that she was amazing. Her name is Niki and she has a couple of dog walkers who work with her. Pam has been walking our dog and she is fantastic. Molly LOVES Pam and so do we. She emails photos, checks them for ticks, makes sure they are clean before putting them back into our house and the best part is--that after her time with Pam, Molly is exhausted. I took Molly on a hike last weekend and didn't check her for ticks and found one on her the next day. Being a "new mom" I was worried but showed Pam who said it looked normal. She also took photos of the tick bite and emailed it to Niki who told me she thought there was nothing to worry about and that I should just look for a ring around the bite and watch her energy level.
