My dog isn't crazy about other dogs. Doesn't want to play. Afraid of, and aggressive towards bigger dogs. At 12 pounds ,that's pretty much all dogs. Dom and Huey came over to meet him and assess how he would fit in. They were certain they could easily integrate him into their pack. They definitely made an effort to ensure he felt comfortable with them and with the other dogs. Fast forward a couple of years and my dog is calmer and much more at ease with dogs in general. My dog loves Dom and Huey. He's always so happy to see Dom when she comes to the door to get him. He always comes back from his walk happy and exhausted. The types of walk vary between leashed and off-leash and they have an arrangement so they have a dog park all to themselves a couple of times/week. This makes me really happy because of my dog's history of unpredictability around dogs he doesn't know. Communication with them is professional, easy, quick and clear. Whenever I have a question or need to check their schedule, I hear back from them right away. I board my dog with them when I travel and they keep me posted on how he's doing (including texting me photos). I love that I can check their Facebook page to see what the dogs are up to during the day. And when I expressed some concern about the increase in my dog barking at other dogs on the street, they said they noticed it too and talked to me about how we could address the behavior together. I really couldn't be happier with them, and neither could my dog.

Regulars in the neighborhood and frequent Point Isabelle along with some weekend adventures a couple times a month. We started to fall a little behind for reasons I think we could all relate. El Perrito Dog Walks provided a great solution. We've tried other walkers that offered far less for the similar price. We had an introduction meeting and Melissa, who took the time to discuss practices with our pups and her approach. Our hound and puppy ridgie have plenty of idiosyncrasies and Melissa was very understanding. They use an app (can do it old school of you prefer) that makes it really easy. Put your info in and pick your times. Super straight forward. After an introductory walk we joined the pack! Today we came home after our second walk and not too long after the usual excitable greeting, barky bark and the spunky bunch were toast. Thanks Melissa! WE are most appreciative. Indi is a very sensitive dog, and I wanted to make sure she went with a walker who had a deep sensitivity to the personalities of the dogs she worked with. I spent a while looking for a good walker when we moved to El Cerrito, and I felt that were far too many walkers who were like: "oh yeah, she's probably good, I'll start walking her." When I contacted Maribel she had a number of questions about Indi, did a meet and greet, and decided which pack she would fit best with for group walks.
