After sampling their pizza yesterday I can, with confidence, Yelp that this is a pizzeria I hope survives the strenuous environment that is the restaurant business, because not only was the pizza delicious, but the people working there were super friendly (and seemed genuinely so). I tried their Margherita pizza to get a feel for how they make the classics, and it was quite tasty. For only €6,50, I got a pizza that was definitely twice what I could eat. I also ordered an "American pizza", in which the crust is layered with cheese (these are apparently becoming popular in Vienna), and that pizza was quite good and not too cheesy, surprisingly. The American pizza I sampled (there are all sorts, and you can order essentially any pizza "American" style) was called the California pizza, with spinach, egg, and bacon. I quite liked this pizza as well, and the eggs were cooked to perfection (for me at least, with runny yolks). :-) Suffice it to say that I'm glad to have a pizza place near my flat, and I hope they maintain the quality of food and service as first presented yesterday. One day I might actually eat-in, seeing as the place is quaint and gemütlich, if you will, and the chef/owner (?) was so friendly.

It is a self-service place, but the guys behind the counter - making pizzas and collecting cash - are unfriendly. They act arrogant and say the fewest words; they act like they are doing you a favor by serving you. The place is quite clean and very informal (seat yourself after collecting the pizza/drink). There is some good seating upstairs which gives you a nicer view, and is quieter. Good low priced decent meal in the center of town. If it was just the food and price, I would probably give it 4 stars. If you eat here, don't forget the best Gelato in town just past this place - Zanoni & Zanonio. Good sized scoops; better Gelato and better price than the other place close to Stephansplatz.

The ambiance inside is great, but sitting outside and enjoying a warm spring evening is just the best. The pizzas are baked in a rustic wood fire oven that gives it the perfect crust. A bit crunchy, but chewy, thin and full of flavor. The toppings are creative and harmonic. The size is decent! We chose the Estevia which had a huge Burrata cheese with arugula, pine nuts and fresh tomatoes. It was so extremely good. Unbelievably! The staff is great and very attentive. I will be back soon for sure. I need to try their bestseller: Figs, goat cheese and honey. It already sounds like heaven. I highly recommend this place and all of their gorgeous pizzas.

While there is some seating inside, most of the seating is at a bar that's both inside and outside, and at little tables set up outside. This place is primarily a take-out place, I think, as people tend to pick up slices or pizzas to go, and seating is *very* limited. The guys working there have always been pretty nice, and when you order a slice from one of the meter-long pizzas available (there are usually like 4 types), they cut it off, heat it up, then cut it into smaller pieces for you. From there you can eat it at the place or take it with you. I think the people working couldn't care less what you decide to do. For the price you pay the pizza is really pretty good, but generally speaking, it's nothing special. I think, as I said before, it's the novelty of meter-long pizza that makes this place interesting, and being able to get a few slices on the very cheap makes it a decent place to go for a slice or two.
